Peggy Mitchell made an epic and unexpected return to EastEnders and her reappearance has caused some serious waves.
Peggy, played by Barbara Windsor, returned to EastEnders when drunken Phil kindly popped around hers – and kicked the door in. After his daughter Louise’s address, he aggressively began berating his mother for loving Grant more than him while he scoured her gaff for booze.
The former landlady kept pretty much sctum as her boozed-up boy ransacked her place for a drink, before dropping the bombshell – she has cancer.
‘The cancer’s back, I’m dying,’ she said.
WTAF? With one hand they giveth, the other they taketh away.
