EastEnders walked away with the best soap gong at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night – but it was their mega-awkward acceptance speech that stole the show.
Just as Kellie Bright was giving her thanks on behalf of the cast and crew, she turned to show boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins, heaping huge praise on his passion and work for the show as if gearing up for him to take the reigns of the speech.
