Shayne Ward, who won the show all the way back in 2005 revealed that he thinks ‘clever’ Simon Cowell should rest the show for a few years.
The former winner of the ITV reality show was speaking at the National Television Awards when he was asked if the show, which has seen steadily falling ratings in recent years, needed to take a break.
