It was an end of an era for Nina Dobrev last Thursday, as she made her final appearance on The Vampire Diaries.
And in celebration of her six years on the show, the actress shared a few candid snaps and videos from behind-the-scenes from her final day of shooting, which ended with her getting splattered by cake.
Nina’s ex Ian Somerhalder – who tied the knot with Twilight actress Nikki Reed last month – got involved too having said an emotional goodbye to his onscreen girlfriend.
It seems Nina – who quit the role of Elena earlier this year – was a bit of a prankster on the show and so the cast and crew got their sweet revenge by attacking her with cake and icing.
But the 26-year-old actress refused to take it lying down and instead got Ian – who plays Damon Salvatore – involved in the fun too.
