The star loves engaging with X Files fans on her Twitter account and delighted everyone with a cheeky backstage snap of David Duchovny playing with one of the bloody props lying on Scully’s forensics table.
Whether or not David was just getting into character as Mulder or he was just fascinated with tweaking the nipples of a corpse himself isn’t clear, but Scully joked to her followers: ‘You gotta forgive the guy his fetishes!’
Followers didn’t mind his odd way of passing the time – with one saying that they would ‘forgive him anything’ and another pointing out that he was looking at Gillian as he did it. Erm, great!
