It’s been 14 years since we last saw Mulder and Scully, and fans are beside themselves in anticipation of The X Files coming back to small screens.
The rebooted version of the show starts off brilliantly.
David Duchovny laconically narrates an intro which sets up the ‘event’ series perfectly, and gives us hope of a coherent plot put together in the style of the best arcs from the old series.
The opening credits remain largely untouched, with the odd welcome addition to the roster of talent signalling the intent of the producers to deliver something truly memorable.
