It is through a veil of tears that we remind you The Big Bang Theory is coming to an end very soon.
It’s almost time to say goodbye to Penny, Leonard, Sheldon, Amy and the rest of the gang, as season 12, which is going to be the last ever season of the hit show, draws to a close.
As we steel ourselves for the end of The Big Bang Theory, here’s what we know about the air date of the final episode.
When is the last episode of The Big Bang Theory going to air?
Unfortunately, no official air-date has been given for the finale in the UK, but across the pond in the US, the last episode of The Big Bang Theory is going to be shown next week on Thursday, 16 May, 2019.
Meanwhile in the UK, we’re a little bit behind our American cousins, and the latest episode we saw was episode 21, The Plagiarism Schism, which aired on E4 Thursday 9 May.

The next one, The Maternal Conclusion, is due to be shown on the same channel on Thursday 16 May at 8pm.
Each episode of the show usually lasts for just under half an hour, however this last episode will be a one hour double-bill.
Due to the fact that, after The Maternal Conclusion airs, there will be only two episodes left, and both of these are airing on the same day in America, it’s safe to say that these final two make up the finale of TBBT, and that they will be airing the week after next – likely on another Thursday, which would be 23 May.
Until the official announcement is made however, all we can do is guess…
