The Jump star Beth Tweddle has confirmed she has been feeling ‘a lot better in the past 24 hours’ after she had surgery to fuse broken bones in her back.
The Olympic bronze medalist was performing a jump last weekend on the Channel 4 reality show when she was unable to stop properly and crashed into a barrier.
She was airlifted to hospital and it was later confirmed she’d had to undergo surgery to take a piece of bone from her hip ‘to fuse the two vertebrae that were fractured, along with pinning them together’.
