Steven Avery’s lawyer Kathleen Zellner is reportedly hoping a brand new forensics inquiry will overturn his conviction for the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach in 2005.
A team of forensic experts are now working at Avery Salvage Yard in Wisconsin, United States, to analyse the purported crime scene.
Kathleen and her team are allegedly hoping that Luminol testing, a technology which has improved in the years since Steven’s case, will help to prove he did not murder Teresa in his garage, as claimed by the prosecution.
Luminol can detect blood which is not visible to the naked eye.
