Former EastEnders star Ricky Norwood has landed his first meaty role since leaving the show as Arthur ‘Fatboy’ Chubb – and he is set to show how diverse he can be by playing a character who is the polar opposite of his Walford alter ego.
As first reported by Attitude, Norwood will play a ‘vile and violent homophobe’ as part of an Amazon Audible radio play based on Romeo And Juliet. The Shakespeare classic is being given a modern day twist which sees the lead characters in a gay relationship and Norwood will play the equivalent of Tybalt.
