EastEnders producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins has teased more details on the upcoming scenes which will see Grant Mitchell return for the death of his mum Peggy – and has promised that the episodes will be ‘epic’.
Speaking on The One Show, he revealed that popular writer Sarah Phelps is coming back to the show specifically to write the special episodes. Phelps previously worked on other major EastEnders storylines including the return and subsequent death of Den Watts. She also penned the adaptation of J K Rowling’s novel The Casual Vacancy.
