Emmerdale’s incoming producer Iain MacLeod wants to see the show win more awards, as he feels that the soap is undeservedly overlooked.
Emmerdale swept the boards at the Inside Soap Awards and recently won the Best Soap prize at the Broadcast Awards but where the Baftas and National Television Awards are concerned, MacLeod believes the programme should get more recognition.
