James Martin says he is forbidden from cooking an omelette in public.
The TV chef, who recently handed in his notice to the BBC, claims there’s a clause in his Saturday Kitchen contract that means he can’t make the eggy dish in the public eye.
James, who is the judge of Saturday Kitchen’s Omelette Challenge, told heat: ‘I’m pretty sure there’s a clause in the contract somewhere that I’m not allowed to make an omelette in public.
‘I’m not allowed to skydive, I’m not allowed to deep-sea dive, and then, “Not allowed to make an omelette in public”.’
