Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions left viewers speechless after Alexa Lauenburger managed to get her eight dogs to form a conga line in spectacular scenes.
The 11-year-old contestant, who won the German edition of the show in 2017, took to the stage to perform a number of tricks with her pooches to The Greatest Showman song The Greatest Show.
After getting her pets to show off their skills which included jumping through hoops and sitting on podiums, Alexa commanded them to stand in line on their hindlegs to do the conga.
Yep, we’re just as impressed and stunned as you are and it might just be the greatest thing to ever happen on television.
Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were so excited by the whole shebang that they rushed down to judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams and pressed the golden buzzer.
Speaking after the performance, Ant said: ‘That was by far one of the best dog acts we’ve ever had on Britain’s Got Talent that I’ve seen. It was tremendous.’
The judges then had their say, with Simon praising: ‘This is the best dog act I have ever, ever seen. And the fact that you, and I don’t mean this in a patronising way, but you at your age to have that relationship with these gorgeous dogs. This is amazing, congratulations.’
‘I could not believe what I was witnessing,’ Alesha added. ‘You’ve shown us something we’ve never seen before. It was outstanding and I’m so happy for you that you’re in the final.’
Amanda enthused: ‘For me, I couldn’t stop smiling throughout the whole thing and I’m delighted that Ant and Dec pressed their golden buzzer for you.’
Fans were completely gobsmacked by the incredible scenes, with one asking on Twitter: ‘Have I actually just witnessed a group of dogs doing the conga on national TV?’
Another added: ‘I’VE JUST SEEN A DOG CONGA ON #BGT AND IT’S THE BEST THING I’VE EVER SEEN.’
Alexa, who was just seven when she first started training her dogs, will now be joined by Kseniya Simonova in the Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions final, after she earned Amanda’s golden buzzer last week.
The MerseyGirls were also sent through to the final, while Jai McDowall missed out leaving fans seething.
Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions airs Saturdays at 8pm on ITV.
