Netflix has confirmed Dear White People will return for fourth and final season.
After the show returned for a third season in August this year, the streaming giant has confirmed the show will have one last bow with another batch of episodes.
Confirming the show’s renewal in the a video, show star Marque Richardson, who plays Reggie Green, yells: ‘I brought you all here to tell you, Dear White People will be back for a fourth and final season!’
According to Deadline, creator Justin Simien will return as showrunner, writer and executive producer, alongside co-showrunner and executive producer Yvette Lee Bowser.

It’s also believed potential spin-offs of the show could be a possibility in the future.
Speaking about the show’s last season, Simien said: ‘I’m so grateful my little indie-that-could had made it to four seasons at Netflix.
‘This show, along with the many talented storytellers it has brought into my orbit, has changed my life and I can’t wait to create a celebratory final volume befitting such a transformative experience.’
Based on the film of the same name by Simien, Dear White People follows racial tensions at a predominantly white Ivy League university – and picks up where the film left off.
It follows a number of Netflix shows announcing their last season, including BoJack Horseman, Glow, and 13 Reasons Why.
