Anneka Rice was spotted out in London keeping a low profile after becoming the second celebrity to be eliminated from this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Along with her dance partner Kevin Clifton, Anneka was eliminated from the live show after Movie Week, which saw each couple perform a dance inspired by a scene in a famous film.

The TV presenter and her dance partner performed a Kill Bill inspired Charleston to Woo Hoo by The 5,6,7,8s, but they failed to impress the judges and ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard with only 11 points.

The day after being eliminated from the show, Anneka was spotted out in London, wearing an almost all-black look, complete with dark sunglasses and black boots and getting some much needed down-time after the show’s gruelling rehearsal schedule.

Anneka’s final week on the show saw her and Kevin eliminated after a dance-off against David James and Nadiya Bychkova.

Performing one last time, the pair made a bid to impress the judges once more against David and Nadiya’s Batman Forever-inspired routine to Kiss From A Rose by Seal, but the judges unanimously voted to save David and Nadiya for a second week in a row.

But despite not being able to continue on to next week’s show, Anneka admitted it was the right decision, saying: ‘To be honest, I’d have saved David and Nadiya.

‘I’ve just loved this whole thing; I’ve not one negative about the whole experience. We’ve worked really hard, I’m covered in bruises,’ she continued.

Hugging Kevin, she added: ‘I love this man; it’s been a joy to have that honour, that privilege of learning to dance. It’s a whole new world to me.’

She also joked that she hoped her new ‘11 and a half’ dance moves will come in useful at her son’s wedding next year.

‘You’ve put in so much commitment and so much effort,’ Kevin added.

‘You delivered that waltz last week… then to come out and deliver that Charleston – the improvement you’ve made, I’m so proud of you, it’s been an absolute joy.’

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
