Saturday nights are once again starting right here on ITV after X Factor: Celebrity went live this weekend.
The show saw the 13 acts who made it through to the live shows taking to the stage for the first time in their bid to nab themselves the series title – and that coveted record deal from Syco.
And the night brought us everything from an unexpected original song from Love Island alumni No Love Lost, through to Jenny Ryan – a late addition to the live line-up – bringing the house down with her rendition of Eurovision classic Rise Like A Phoenix.
At the end of it all, though, two acts had to bid farewell to the competition – so who left?
Here’s what you need to know…
Who left X Factor: Celebrity last night?
Saturday night’s X Factor: Celebrity saw the show bid farewell to Ricki Lake – one of Nicole Scherzinger’s Overs – and Love Actually actress Olivia Olson.
Actress and talk show host Ricki – who performed Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide on the show – lost out after finishing bottom of the public vote, later telling Dermot O’Leary: ‘I guess I have to stick to my day job. It’s been an amazing experience, so surreal for me.’
Olivia, meanwhile, lost out after finding herself in the bottom three with journalist Martin Bashir – with Simon Cowell opting to save Martin, saying: ‘I think you’re both in this situation because of song choices. Being impartial, I’m making this decision on who I believe the public would like to see through to next week.
‘Based on that reason the person I’m sending home is, unfortunately, Olivia.
The actress was left in floods of tears at the decision, while the audience greeted it with a volley of boos – and Dermot attempted to console her.
‘With you, you know what, you have been embraced, and I know you are going home but I have heard your stuff and you have some great original stuff, I’ve heard it out there on Spotify,’ he said.
‘Use this as a springboard and we wish you all the very best of luck.’
Who won the show’s safe seats?
Each judge is allowed on the show to put one act straight through to next week by giving them a safe seat – with Nicole Scherzinger giving hers to Jenny Ryan.
‘Oh my gosh I don’t even know where to start with that, I am blown away. Right now I am speechless,’ Nicole told her, adding: ‘That performance was ruthless and roofless because you just blew the roof off.’
Louis Walsh’s safe seat went to former EastEnder Jonny Labey for his performance of dance anthem Show Me Love, while rugby trio Try Star won their way through to next week from mentor Simon Cowell.
