Fifteen to One presenter Sandi Toksvig has hit out at sexism at the BBC.
The 57-year-old claims she was turned down for the Have I Got News For You hosting job simply because she is female, and believes she could have been better than Angus Deayton.
Sandi was apparently asked to audition for the show around 25 years ago, but lost out to Angus.
‘They made two pilots – one with me and one with Angus Deayton,’ she told Radio Times magazine.
