Michelle Visage, Giovanni Pernice and their fellow Strictly Come Dancing competitors have officially arrived in Blackpool and decided to distract themselves from Saturday’s competition by heading to the Pleasure Beach.
Because nothing says relaxation like riding a terrifying rollercoaster on a cold November day.
With the gang heading up north as they prepare to don their dancing shoes at the iconic Tower Ballroom, Oti Mabuse and co. did the rounds on the coastal town’s biggest tourist attraction, the Pleasure Beach theme park which is home to The Big One rollercoaster.
In a week where she has been forced to deny accusations of a rift with Giovanni, Michelle seemed as close as ever to her partner as they sat together for the ride after landing in last week’s shock dance off.
Rocking a coat in her trademark leopard print, the RuPaul’s Drag Race judge braced the cold weather on the ride, while Gio huddled up in a black cap and gloves.
In front of them were Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden, who gripped hands as they plummeted downwards on the ride.
After a week near the bottom of the leaderboard, the frontrunners are hoping their Charleston can see them climb to the top again. If it’s any consolation guys, we think you can do it!
Taking the front seat (rather them than us!) was Oti and Kelvin Fletcher, who screamed as they were tossed around on the ride.
Blackpool week is always a highlight in the calendar for Strictly fans, with backing dancers joining our stars for their routines for the first time to help fill the ginormous stage of the Tower Ballroom.
And by the looks of things, this week is going to be even more fabulous than ever, with Madonna lookalike and superfan Michelle Visage performing a Couples Choice (Street/Commercial) routine to Vogue.
Yep, you heard that right. The OG Voguer is going to be striking a pose for us all.
Backstage, social media superstar Saffron Barker has been giving us some sneak peaks into Blackpool rehearsals and it looks like it’s going to be an amazing show.
Saturday can’t come soon enough!
