Joe Swash has fallen and hit his head during rehearsals for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice, the show’s creative director has said.
Poor Joe…
However, Joe’s injury is nothing ‘bigger or worse’ than what is apparently standard in Dancing On Ice world, according to an insider.
Glad to hear it!
Dan Whiston confirmed the news to The Sun, saying: ‘Joe Swash fell and hit his head in rehearsals. It’s horrible when it happens but it does sometimes. There are cuts bruises, knocks and scrapes.’
‘They’ve all had their fair share,’ he added of the contestants for the upcoming series.
‘There’s nobody that’s had one bigger or worse than the others,’ he said. ‘They’ve all had that.’
Joe – who originally shot to fame on EastEnders and won the 2008 series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here – will be partnered with Alexandra Schauman on the latest series and is yet to speak publicly about the fall.
Alexandra won last year’s show with partner James Jordan, best known as a professional on Strictly Come Dancing.
Bless him.
Joe – whose girlfriend is Loose Women star Stacey Solomon – will be joined on Dancing On Ice 2020 by the likes of talk show queen Trisha Goddard, model Caprice and Ian ‘H’ Watkins of Steps fame.
Dancing On Ice returns to screens on 5 January 2020 on ITV.
