There were some big surprises in store for Eurovision fans on Tuesday night as last year’s host country failed to qualify for Saturday’s Eurovision final.
Three time winners Denmark are out of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Favourites Russia and Estonia marched into Saturday’s final.
The ten countries that qualified for the final are Albania, Armenia, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Estonia, Georgia, Serbia and Belgium.
Two of the most consistent Eurovision Song Contest qualifiers of recent years, Denmark and Finland were sent home early after voters and jurors from across Europe and Australia voted them below 10th place in the 16 strong semi final.
