Too Hot To Handle is set to be our next TV dating show obsession (Love Island, who? Love Is Blind? I don’t know her), and the cast are already looking to be a group of massive characters.
The new Netflix dating show concept will see a host of fit singletons (of course) descent upon a decadent beach resort – but they’re not going to be allowed to have a hedonistic time there.
The self-confessed commitment-phobes who are fans of casual hook-ups will be banned from doing anything saucy – from a kiss to sleeping together – if they are to be in with a chance of winning the $100,000 (£80,0000) prize.
Every slip-up will see money depleted from the prize pot – but will they be able to keep their hands to themselves to win the big bucks? Here’s who’s trying their luck…
Lydia Clyma
Lydia’s from the UK and she works as an actor and influencer and will be joining the show in episode six.
She told her followers: ‘I’m so excited (and nervous) to be able to share this special journey with you all, that taught me so much about myself over the past year.
‘You’ll see me laugh and cry, with my closest friends from all over the world. I hope you’re all ready for this crazy rollercoaster of a series that drops next Friday 17th April. See you in episode 6’.
Kori Sampson
Another one from the UK, Kori is a model and personal trainer and has also released his own guide to getting lean and developing a six-pack just like his.
Given that we’ve all been eating all the snacks in lockdown, he may get an influx of sign-ups once it’s been lifted.
Madison Wyborny
Madison’s an LA-based model, who loves sharing envy-inducing bikini photos from around the world – so spending time at a beach resort will no doubt be second nature.
Bryce Hirschberg
Bryce is apparently a quadruple threat as he describes himself as an award-winning director, writer, producer and actor.
Just to add more strings to his bow, the LA-based contestant is also a singer/songwriter and is working on his debut solo album too.
Kelechi Dyke
Going by the name of Kelz, this 6’6” American football player, who’s based in London, is definitely set to send pulses racing.
Nicole O’Brien
Nicole is Irish but is currently living in London and this smart cookie also has a degree in commerce, too.
She told her followers: ‘IM ON NETFLIX. Wow, this moment feels so surreal. I’ve been wanting to share this secret for so long and I’m so excited to say I’ll be on your screens on the 17th of April.
‘Be prepared to laugh and cry because this series is going to give you all the feels! It’s so honest and real and I’m sharing a side to me not many people know about so this is pretty scary!
‘I’m excited to start this journey and share it with best friends from all over the world.’
Rhonda Paul
Rhonda’s from Atlanta in the USA and is the owner of her own jewellery brand, so it looks like she’s pretty business savvy.
Matthew Smith
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Matthew moved to LA to pursue a career in the creative industries.
He’s a model and actor, as well as a writer and producer and has appeared on New Girl and America’s Next Top Model among other shows.
Francesca Farago
Francesca is a model who works between Vancouver and Los Angeles, and is launching her own eco-friendly and vegan swimwear range.
Unsurprisingly for an aspiring swimwear designer, many of her Instagram shots feature her lounging in luxurious destinations in a bikini.
Harry Jowsey
Harry’s a 6’5” tall Australian who now lives in Los Angeles and models his own range of hoodies with slogans including ‘Boyfriend d**k’. No, we don’t know what that is meant to mean either…
David Birtwistle
David’s a fitness and nutrition coach (we knew there was a reason he has approximately 27 abs) as well as a Nike Training ambassador.
He also hosts a podcast and has developed a fat loss guide for his followers, too.
Haley Cureton
Haley’s from America and was studying at the University of North Florida, but this girl’s a bit of a dark horse so far.
Sharron Townsend
Sharron is a model and has also held the title of Mr Pennsylvania at the Mr United States pageant as well as appearing in a Fetty Wap music video, too.
Chloe Veitch
Chloe is a model from Essex who previously studied performing arts and law.
She also worked as an estate agent while competing in the Top Models UK pageant where she won the editorial category.
Too Hot To Handle premieres on Netflix on 17 April.
