Celebrity Gogglebox viewers were left sobbing after Friday night’s instalment after witnessing the moment a 10-year-old boy saved his dad’s life during a 999 call.
The new Channel 4 series is back on our screens and tonight’s programme was a rather emotional one.
During one segment, the celebrity line-up, which includes Ruth Langsford and her husband Eamonn Holmes watched BBC’s Ambulance.
And they were moved to tears as a boy tried to resuscitate his dad, who was thought to have had a heart attack.
The boy can be heard breaking down as the 999 call handler tried to guide him on how to resuscitate his dad.
Joe Swash also shared his own experience of losing his father as he said: ‘I was only 11 when my dad passed away from a heart attack.’
Viewers took to social media afterwards, with many admitting to shedding a tear over the clip.
One tweeted: ‘In tears listening to the young lad as his dad was having a heart attack. Literally thought he was gonna die.’
Another commented: ‘OMG that had me in tears.’
While one added: ‘That was the make heartbreaking and heart-warming thing I had tears that 10-year-old did incredible.’
A host of famous faces have joined Ruth and Eamonn including the likes of KSI, Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra, Joe Stacey Solomon, and Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling.
Other big names include newbies Zoe Ball and her son Woody Cook, Nicola Adams and her partner Ella and Denise Van Outen and her partner Eddie.
Celebrity Gogglebox returns on Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
