The Voice judges, past and present have reunited to wish Sir Tom Jones a Happy 80th Birthday while in lockdown.
Sharing the video to The Voice official Twitter account, current judge Olly Murs was first up as he said: ‘Tom, it’s me Olly just wanted to wish you a Happy 80th Birthday.’
J-Hud, who left the show last year to pursue her own work exclaimed: ‘Tom, it’s me Jennifer Hudson, and I just wanted to stop by and wish you the absolute best and most happiest birthday ever.’
McFly singer Danny Jones, who is a coach on The Voice Kids, appeared on the clip with his son Cooper.
‘Cooper can you say Happy Birthday Sir Tom Jones,’ he said. ‘We just want to wish you a Happy Birthday Sir Tom Jones, you absolute legend.’
Olly then chipped in again as he added: ‘You are an incredible man, I miss working with you mate, I love ya I hope you’re keeping safe, I hope you have a fantastic birthday and I can’t wait to have a glass of champagne with you when this is all over’
Host Emma Willis then shared her message: ‘Many happy returns Sir Tom, I hope you are surrounded by your family and they are showering you with love. 80 years young today, have a cracking day and I am sending you loads of love.’
Singer Paloma Faith who is also a judge on the kids’ version continued: ‘Hi, Tom, it’s Paloma, just want to wish you the happiest birthday you can possibly have in lockdown, thank you for the music and the inspiration.’
And as the video came to a end, J-Hud belted out Happy Birthday to Sir Tom, and it was the best thing ever.
