His new Top Gear contract may mean he’s worth millions of quid but Chris Evans is still counting the pennies.
The TFI Friday presenter has not been out of the limelight since his much publicised announcement as the new host of the hit motoring show. He has signed a deal reportedly worth around £3million to take over the programme which needed a reboot following the sacking of Jeremy Clarkson.
But his taxi driver wasn’t feeling the benefit of his new wealth as penny pinching Evans treated him to a bit of a paltry 40p tip.
