Italian trio Il Volo have been quietly going about their Eurovision business since arriving in Vienna this weekend. They’re seen as one of the most likely entrants to win this Saturday and what could be more fitting than an Operatic entry in a city dubbed the World Capital of Music.
Italy have once again sent the winners of their national San Remo Music Festival, the competition that the Eurovision Song Contest was based on when it was created as a television experiment in 1956. The experiment worked and Italy are hoping to make the 60th Eurovision Song Contest an extra special one.
