
Emily Watson has revealed that she found it ‘devastating’ to star as a grief-stricken mother in A Song for Jenny.
The actress, 48, plays Julie Nicholson in the new drama, which tells the true story of a woman whose daughter Jenny was killed in the July 7 bombings.
She told the BBC: ‘I found it devastating to play, the most affecting of anything I’ve done. It took me a while to recover.’
