This week has been an emotional one for Coronation Street fans as they said goodbye to Deirdre Barlow.
Deirdre was gracefully written out of the show following the sad death of Anne Kirkbride, the actress who had played her for over 40 years.
She’ll be sorely missed from the cobbles and remembered not just for her brilliant performances in storylines that saw her jailed for fraud, embroiled in a love affair with Mike Baldwin and suffering the grief over the death of her husband Samir.
But I think most people will remember her most for those brilliant glasses she rocked back in the Nineties.
