As ice queen The Governess, Anne Hegerty is renowned for being a well spoken genius, with her knowledge in high brow subjects such as literature and royal history almost unmatched across the world.
But beneath the cool, prim and proper exterior lies a potty mouth and she allowed her facade to slip spectacularly when advising a contestant on what word to use when he felt under pressure.
Presenter Bradley Walsh told the lad that the production team preferred him to stop saying ‘geez’ as it was difficult to edit.
While Bradley suggested ‘cheese’ might be preferable, Anne had a more controversial option.
