Hollywood star Sigourney Weaver will make a guest appearance in British sitcom Doc Martin.
The Alien actress has been spotted shooting scenes with the show’s star Martin Clunes in Port Isaac, Cornwall.
Footage has surfaced online of Weaver outside a pharmacy with Clunes last week.

An ITV spokeswoman confirmed her appearance but refused to reveal what role she would be playing.
Weaver is an Oscar-nominated actress, who shot to fame playing Ripley in science fiction classic Alien, and has also appeared in Avatar, Working Girl, Ghostbusters and Gorillas In The Mist.
