NBC have been floating a Xena: Princess Warrior reboot for a while now, but this news may not be what fans were waiting to hear – Lucy Lawless has revealed that ‘if there’s anything current going on, we’re not involved.’
Say it isn’t so!
Speaking at this week’s Television Critics Association press tour, Lucy added: ‘There was a conversation a year ago that Rob [Tapert] was involved in but that didn’t happen.’
Original executive producers Rob and Sam Raimi were reportedly on board for the project, which is still in the very early stages of development, but Lucy’s comments suggest that things may not be all they seem.
