Dancing on Ice saw strong performances from all the contestants as the competition heats up but one couple had to face the music.
Personal week on ITV’s popular competition show meant plenty of emotional stories behind the celebrities’ favourite songs.
From Miles Nazaire’s dad playing guitar for his performance and Ryan Thomas skating to his late dad’s rendition of Easy, the week proved an emotional one.
It was a tearful but successful one as nobody dropped below 30 on the scoreboard thanks to generous judging from Johnny Weir, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean.
However, one couple had to say goodbye, with hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern revealing Amber Davies and Simon Proulx-Sénécal would be skating against Ricky Norwood and Annette Dytrt.
They had faced off in one final skate but the viewers’ votes and judges’ verdict meant Ricky and Annette had finished their journey.

Amber and Simon had danced to Little Mix’s Power, with fans pointing out Amber’s lack of solo skating but praising her lifts.
Second on was Ricky and Annette to There’s Nothing Holding Me Back by Shawn Mendes, and he told Holly he felt great and wanted to ‘just do it and have fun with it.’
‘I never thought I’d make it this far and I’m just so pleased,’ said the EastEnders star before heaping praise on his pro counterpart.
He added: ‘She pushed me and believed in me every single day, I don’t know where I would have been without you sweetheart.’
Ricky left with his highest score of the competition yet, landing 30 for his performance to Three Little Birds by Bob Marley.

The news didn’t come as a huge shock though as they had been in the bottom last week too but managed to stay out of the double elimination.
However, some fans were disappointed as Mandi tweeted: ‘I think the judges made a mistake there #DancingOnIce Ricky actually skated on his own and spent more time on the ice. Amber let go for a millisecond and spent most of her time being lifted. When will the judges notice?’
‘When they say it’s down to skating ability but the person they put through didn’t skate on there own once in the skate off🤦🏼♀️ ,’ slammed Chloe Hargreaves.
Larah Yearwood added: ‘HOW was Amber saved when she was just lifted about the entire routine??? Ricky actually skated on his own and it still wasn’t enough????’
Musicals week was a shocker as both Emmerdale’s Roxy Shahidi and comedian Lou Sanders were booted out of the competition.
During the show, the 40th anniversary of Torvill and Dean’s Sarajevo Winter Olympic win for their Bolero on February 14, 1984, was celebrated.

The duo returned to the arena for an anniversary event and performed on ice one more time, ahead of their final ever tour next year.
Friends and other icons of the sport congratulated the pair on their achievements, before heading back to the studio with further praise from Holly.
Chris passed to Jayne to speak as he was choked up, then added that regardless of their career decisions on the ice they would always return to the show.
‘You’re not going anywhere’ joked Holly in response before revealing a special surprise for the Olympic pairing.
They brought out Courtney Jones who designed their original costumes in an emotional reunion as he said: ‘Congratulations on everything you’ve done for our sport you have really been marvellous.’
