Will the BBC judges head to ITV as well?

ITV have confirmed what was the worst kept secret in television – that they’ve secured the rights to BBC talent show The Voice UK.

The channel have the rights to three new seasons of the show which will air on BBC for one final season in 2016.

Two seasons of a children’s version will also air as well as a spin-off show on ITV2.

Dave Benson Phillips is a legend of Children’s TV, but he recently had to apologise after scaring the s**t out of customers at a department store in Worthing.

The former Playdays and Get Your Own Back host tweeted an apology to BHS shoppers for the noise the bursting of his son’s balloon made during a recent visit.

It sounds like people were very on edge after the recent Paris terror attacks, and worried the noise was gun fire.

Just when you thought David Lynch couldn’t get any cooler, you find out he made the best damn adverts in the history of television.

The maverick Twin Peaks director has always welcomed advertising jobs with open arms, recently making promos for Dior starring Marion Cotillard.

But we had no idea the director basically remade Twin Peaks in a series of four ads – for Japanese coffee brand Georgia.

The atmospheric yet tongue-in-cheek ads feature several of the cult show’s cast of characters including Andy, Hawk, the Log Lady, Shelley, Lucy and of course Special Agent Dale Cooper.

Meanwhile Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has been getting dangerously close to heartthrob George Shelley from boyband Union J.

The pair were seen, er, helping each other wash in the jungle river. They previously shared celebratory doughnuts on the show.

I’m A Celebrity co-host Declan Donnelly has admitted that he flirted with Lady Colin Campbell just so she would complete her bushtucker trial.

The Geordie presenter made the admission on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast show while being grilled by Nick Grimshaw about his flirty behaviour with the socialite.

‘We resorted to any mean necessary to get Lady C to do the trial,’ Dec told the X Factor judge, ‘I did start [the flirting] a little bit, I’ve always been a terrible flirt!’

Netflix are remaking classic 60s series Lost In Space

Classic 60s sci-fi series Lost In Space is on its way back to screens after being primed for a Netflix makeover.

According to Deadline the streaming service won the rights to bring the series back following a bidding war with several other companies.

The reboot will reportedly focus on a young family from earth who find themselves up against some serious challenges when they become lost in an alien universe.

A bit like the original, in other words.
