Good Omens drops on Amazon Prime Video at the end of May (Picture: Joel Zietcer/Amazon)

On the highly unlikely off-chance that you haven’t heard, Good Omens, the new Amazon Prime show with a stellar cast, has dropped on the streaming platform.

The show, which has been adapted from a 1990 book of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, is a six-part miniseries which has been very hotly anticipated.

The reviews for Good Omens are looking good, with Metro.co.uk’s own Adam Starkey giving it four out of five stars, saying: ‘This is a light, skippy, and silly dance with angels and demons, which bounds along with the creative zip and fantastical flight both authors are synonymous with.’

Not only that, but Good Omens has a seriously first rate cast to boot.

If you’re wondering where you might have seen their famous faces before, then listen up, because here’s what you need to know…

Who is in the Good Omens cast

Michael Sheen and David Tennant head up the cast as the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley respectively.

Michael Sheen is no stranger to Hollywood, having appeared in the likes of Frost/Nixon, The Queen, Midnight in Paris, Underworld and The Twilight Saga.

Meanwhile national treasure David Tennant has starred in Jessica Jones, Broadchurch and, of course, he was a beloved incarnation of The Doctor on Doctor Who from 2005 until his last appearance in 2013.

The series also features Hollywood heavyweights Benedict Cumberbatch as Satan and the Oscar-winning Frances McDormand as God.

You’ll undoubtedly know Cumberbatch from things like Sherlock, Patrick Melrose, The Imitation Game, and from the MCU movies as Doctor Strange, while McDormand has acted in such classics as Fargo and Almost Famous, along with the more recent Moonrise Kingdom and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Mad Men’s John Hamm has also joined the cast as Gabriel, and Miranda Richardson – another Hollywood alum who’s been in The Hours, The Crying Game and the Harry Potter films to name a few – is appearing as Madame Tracy.

You’ll have also no doubt spotted comedian and presenter Jack Whitehall, who plays Newton Pulsifer, in the Good Omens trailer.

Daniel Mays (The Limehouse Golem, Rouge One: A Star Wars Story) will be acting alongside Sian Brook (Sherlock) as Arthur and Deirdre Young, parents to Adam Young (played by Sam Taylor Buck), who is the boy fated to bring about the apocalypse.

We also can’t wait to see Brian Cox (Troy, Adaptation and X2: X-Men United) who will be appearing as Death, and Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation, Fargo) as Thaddeus Dowling.

Good Omens is available to stream on Amazon Prime now.

The Grand Tour literally use the word literally more than anyone else

The Grand Tour have called themselves out for literally having the most repetitive catchphrase ever.

While we literally sit here patiently waiting for season four, the team behind the show have been clubbing together some clips to keep us occupied.

And the latest instalment, might literally be the best one yet.

(OK we’ll stop now – that was literally the last one.)

Turns out that the guys are a bit of a fan of the exaggeration, and so with one quick supercut they’ve exposed their biggest habit in saying ‘literally’ for everything they’re on about.

Somehow we don’t think they’re going to stop anytime soon either (never change, gang).

Jeremy has developed quite the habit of saying literally (Picture: Amazon Prime Video)

Work for The Grand Tour 4 is underway, but has hit a couple of stumbling blocks that could literally end in the trio being killed if they’re not careful enough.

In fact, one planned adventure was scrapped completely over terrorist threat fears.

Either way, we’ve got a bit of a wait before we get any of the others on our screens – but don’t worry, we’ve lapped up some good alternatives to keep you busy in the meantime.

We literally cannot wait for season four (Picture: Amazon Prime Video)

Richard, as well as his co-stars James May and Jeremy Clarkson, will be going it alone for their own upcoming series.

While James is heading to Japan on a one man adventure, Jeremy will be spending some time at home looking into farmlife.

As for Hammond? He will be embracing his short stature with a series on big things called…Richard Hammond’s Big.

You can’t say they aren’t one for irony.

The Grand Tour is available now on Amazon Prime Video.

Neil Gaiman hated his first time as showrunner on Good Omens: ‘I like the process of being a novelist’

Neil Gaiman took on the role as showrunner for Good Omens, but it doesn’t sound like a job he’ll be returning to anytime soon.

The 58-year-old author adapted his 1990 novel after being encouraged by his close friend and co-author Terry Pratchett, who passed away back in 2015.

Many of Gaiman’s works have been turned into films and TV shows over the years, including Stardust, Neverwhere, American Gods, and Coraline, but Good Omens represents the first time he’s ever acted as showrunner on one of his TV adaptations.

Asked about the process, Gaiman expressed quite vividly his disdain for the job – in comparison to the comfortable work process of writing a novel.

Asked by Metro.co.uk if he enjoyed being a showrunner, Neil said: ‘No I didn’t. I like the process of being a novelist.

‘The process of being a novelist is you get up when you wake up. You go downstairs, have a cup of tea still wearing your dressing gown, wander round the house a bit, think about going off to your writing cabin to write, have another cup of tea, put on some clothes and wander off, write until dinner time, and then come back and have dinner. It’s great. It is your ideal day.

EMBARGOED TO 2300 WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 13 Undated handout photo issued by Amazon Prime Video of Michael Sheen as the Angel (left) and David Tennant as the Demon in Good Omens, based on the book by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gaiman, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 31st. ‘As a showrunner your alarm goes off at five o’clock in the morning and the car will be waiting to pick you up outside at 5.30am to take you somewhere cold. And you’re going to be in this cold place, probably being rained on, with not enough time and not enough money to shoot the thing you needed to get done that day, or the many things you needed to get done that day. Some of which are going to be like juggling chainsaws.

‘If you’re lucky, you’ll stumble home before midnight that night and then try and catch up on a day’s worth of emails before you go to sleep to do it all again. And that’s on the good days.

‘So I, given the choice, I love being a writer and being a showrunner is ridiculously hard work. But Douglas McKinnon the director and I, could not have made Good Omens this amazing, handmade, peculiar, personal piece of work if I hadn’t done it like that.

‘It’s very peculiar in that Good Omens feels very small, it feels very English, it feels like this weird little thing that people made for fun and it’s personal, and there’s jokes in there that we don’t mind if you get, and we don’t mind if you don’t. It’s our show, and it has a feeling that you normally only get through in very intimate low budget things, but it’s huge.’

When it comes to future adaptations of his work, however, Gaiman has learnt some valuable life lessons moving forward – namely how to recognise ‘bullsh*t’ from people who work in TV.

‘I don’t think I’d be as involved as I was with this because I was on set every day,’ Neil said. ‘And on a good day, you’d work a six day week.

‘And somewhere vaguely in the background is your wife pointing out she married a writer, and she did not expect to be widowed to a TV show and I wouldn’t do that to her again.

American Gods
Neil Gaiman is an executive producer on American Gods (Picture: Amazon/Starz)

‘But on the other hand, I have now learned enough making television that I don’t think a showrunner could bullsh*t me again. And I know how to do all the things you need to do, to make a show.

‘The best thing about the last four years was I got script school, I got film school, I got post production school, I learned VFX. I learned all this stuff and learned how to drill down when we had budget problems where the expense was and how I could fix it. All that kind of stuff which were completely new skills to me.’

Luckily, Good Omens was worth the strenuous effort – being described in Metro.co.uk’s review as a ‘refreshingly whimsical concoction of British humour, infectious imagination, and old fashioned charms’.

Neil has also spoke about how Good Omens was entirely dedicated to Terry Pratchett, explaining how the show wouldn’t have existed without him.

Good Omens is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Ava DuVernay’s new miniseries When They See Us landed on Netflix on Friday, 31 May.

The case was controversial and well publicised when it first broke, and now, 30 years later and through Ava DuVernay’s lens, we can see a dramatic re-telling of the story unfold in a four-part series.

Whether you’ve already binged it or your looking forward to doing so, here’s what you need to know about When They See Us, from its cast to the true story of the Central Park Five.

The true story of the Central Park Five

The Central Park Five were young boys called Antron McCray, who was 15, Kevin Richardson, 14, Yusef Salaam, 15, Raymond Santana, 15, and Korey Wise, 16.

The five teens were arrested after 28-year-old Trisha Meili was found raped and beaten almost to death in Central Park in the early hours of 20 April 1989.

Meili was so badly injured that she spent 12 days in a coma and could not remember her attack.

The Central Park Five were then brought in for questioning in the wake of a string of other attacks perpetrated by a gang of over 30 teenagers who, according to authorities, had been out ‘wilding’ – assaulting and robbing other joggers and cyclists – in Central Park the same night.

After hours of police interrogation, four of the boys confessed and implicated the fifth. Despite inconsistencies in their confessions and there being no DNA evidence linking them to the crime, they were tried as adults and convicted.

They ended up spending between six and 13 years in jail.

In 2002, Matias Reyes, a convicted serial rapist and murderer who was already serving a life sentence for other crimes, confessed that he had committed the attack for which the Central Park Five had been sent to prison.

DNA evidence supported his confession, and the Central Park Five were exonerated. They brought a lawsuit against the city of New York, eventually settled, and were awarded $7.1 million (£5.6 million) each.

When They See Us is now available to stream on Netflix.

Ninja Warrior UK contestant makes history as first winner in five years – with one second to spare

Tim Champion became the first Ninja Warrior winner (Picture: ITV)

Tim Champion has become the first-ever Ninja Warrior UK champion in show’s five-year history.

It has been a long time coming, and it has finally happened, someone has managed to complete the tough course on the ITV programme.

Tim, 23, managed the challenge by scaling it’s epic Mount Midoriyama, which no one has ever reached before.

And it wasn’t easy for the Exeter competitor, who made things a little intense for viewers as he completed the course with one second to spare.

He got there by spinning up the Warped Wall and becoming the first athlete ever to conquer The Flying Bars.

On completing the tough obstacles, he told presenter Rochelle Humes: ‘The energy in the stadium tonight was amazing.’

He then told the audience in the studio: ‘You got me up there.’

Viewers at home flocked to Twitter to congratulate Tim for making history.

The show’s host Ben Shephard tweeted: ‘After 5 yrs, 1000’s of hopefuls, some close calls we have a Ninja Warrior!!

‘Thanks 4 your messages @chris_kammy @RochelleHumes and I love making this show, clearly you guys love it too.

‘@TimChampion1 we salute you 4 conquering the Mountain. Same time next year? #NinjaWarriorUk’.

A viewer shared: ‘It’s taken five series but someone has FINALLY beaten Mount Midoriyama and won #NinjaWarriorUK! WITH ONE SECOND TO SPARE’.

‘History is made!! Someone has finally completed #NinjaWarriorUK,’ said one fan.

An excited fan posted: ‘@ninjawarrioruk @ninjawarrior wow, wow wow #TimChampion born to be just so, a champion. First in five years #NinjawarriorUK’

A shocked Twitter user commented: ‘Didn’t expect to see that tonight. After 5 years, someone has conquered mount midoriyama and have been crowned as the first winner of Ninja Warrior UK.

‘CONGRATULATIONS TIM CHAMPION FOR ACHIEVING THIS MONUMENTOUS FEAT!!!!! #NinjaWarriorUK #ITV #TimChampion’.

Another added: ‘@TimChampion1 Well done Tim you really are a champion. Fabulous #NinjaWarriorUK’.

However the win wasn’t a complete surprise, as host Chris Kamara actually let it slip that a contestant would conquer the course on Sunday Brunch last week.

‘We’ve been waiting five series. The obstacles get harder every single year – instead of making it easier so we can get someone up there, we’ve made it harder every year, and the athletes have got better.

‘We’ve got 15 finalists this time around and next Saturday there will be a super human being – our first Ninja Warrior UK.’

Michael Parkinson broke down in tears as he recalled seeing his dad die.

The TV presenter, 84, was appearing on the latest instalment of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories when he opened up about his heartbreak.

His father, Jack Parkinson, died in 1975, following a battle with lung disease pneumoconiosis – which is caused by long-term retention of dust in the lungs.

‘I’d never seen anybody I loved die and I saw my dad die,’ he told the ITV star.

‘You could see him withering away. For a man as vigorous as he was, it was like watching leaves fall from a tree.’

Jack was diagnosed with the condition after inhaling coal dust, with Michael and mum Freda bringing him home to die.

‘The thing that kind of nags at me like a nightmare is that two guys came to take the body away,’ he continued, while getting emotional.

‘I see the image very clearly and I thought he’s got to be worth a lot more than that… carrying him out in a little plastic bag.

‘He knew how much I loved him. I never found it difficult to say that to him – nor he to me.’

Michael was so overcome with emotions that he had to briefly pause the interview, before Piers moved on to another topic.

And the heartbreaking moment left viewers at home in tears.

‘Horrible seeing Michael Parkinson cry #LifeStories,’ a Twitter user said, while another commented: ‘I don’t want to see #MichaelParkinson cry #LifeStories @piersmorgan.’

Michael also addressed his infamous chat with Helen Mirren (Picture: ITV)

‘That’s really got me watching Michael Parkinson so heartbroken …someone give him a hug #LifeStories,’ one wrote.

‘Wow!! That @piersmorgan Interview with the LEGEND Sir Michael Parkinson has to be the best #LifeStories episode ever!! Just extraordinary and very emotional too. Thank you Piers & Thank you Michael,’ an impressed fan posted.

And a viewer added: ‘Watching @piersmorgan #LifeStories with Michael Parkinson, what a beautiful interview, brought tears to my eyes watching Sir Michael getting emotional talking about his father. He’s a true Gentleman.’

In the candid chat, Michael also addressed his controversial interview with Helen Mirren, in which he introduced her as the ‘sex queen’ before commenting on her figure.

Despite admitting the clip is ‘embarrassing’ to look back on, he defended himself against claims of sexism.

‘I feel it’s of its time, and of its time it’s embarrassing. It was over the top, absolutely so,’ he told the host.

When Piers pointed out his sexist comments, he added, ‘Nobody got hurt, nobody died.’

Victoria Derbyshire fell victim to an awkward mishap at the British Soap Awards – and viewers at home were loving it.

The TV presenter took to the stage, at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester, to present the Best Storyline gong.

She rocked a pink dress on the night – with a sparkly, long-sleeved sheer top, complete with a full skit

However, the 50-year-old was positioned slightly awkwardly at the lectern, with two microphones placed just in front of her breasts.

And fans watching on TV found the whole thing hilarious.

Flocking to Twitter, one joked: ‘And the #britishsoapawards for Best Mic placement goes to Victoria Derbyshire #itv #victoriaderbyshire.’

While another said: ‘Awkward mic placement on #TheBritishSoapAwards #TheSoapAwards #VictoriaDerbyshire (•)(•).’

‘Victoria Derbyshire and inappropriate lectern mic positioning on #soapawards @ITV,’ a viewer commented,

While a social media user added: ‘Victoria Derbyshire looks stunning in that gorgeous gown on the #SoapAwards2019 – tho those microphones look like a pair of strippers’ nipple tassles.’

Victoria didn’t seem fazed by the whole thing, as she presented the Best Storyline gong to Coronation Street’s Shayne Ward, following Aidan Connor’s harrowing male suicide plot.

The 34-year-old broke down as he accepted his award – his third of the night – while urging more men to speak up about their mental health and depression.

‘What can I say other than thank you so much. I was not expecting this, in fact, I wasn’t even meant to be coming here tonight. So thank you to the Coronation Street team for picking up the phone and asking me to come,’ the X Factor winner told the crowd.

‘It’s amazing. As we always say it’s a collective, it is never a solo story.

‘It was told with so much heart. We told it with so much truth. The impact that suicide has, it’s an ongoing thing and us guys don’t talk enough. We say it all the time, “It’s a little bit of banter”.

‘Behind those closed doors is the tears of a clown. You need to start talking. You really do.’

Shayne’s character took his own life in the ITV soap, in emotional scenes which aired earlier this year.

The storyline worked to highlight the tragic increase of male suicide and has been praised by many.

‘Now we use this platform to try and tackle this taboo, he added. I want to thank every single person at Coronation Street.

‘It was an absolute joy to play Aidan Connor and let’s just keep tackling this taboo of suicide.’

Elsewhere on the night, Hollyoaks took home the Best Soap award, while EastEnders’ Kara-Leah Fernandes won Best Young Actor and On-Screen Partnership.

Love Island’s Anna Vakili is about to be launched into the spotlight, but she claims she’s already had her fair share of social media trolling.

It seems to come hand in hand with being a celebrity these days and already well aware of just how cruel trolls can be, Anna has said she was sent death threats after being pictured with a footballer in her native Iran.

The 28-year-old told The Mirror she was slammed by fans of the footballer online. She said: ‘I got a lot of hate. I got death threats. Fans were like, “You’re taking my husband from me.”‘

‘In Iran they’re not allowed to do these things,’ Anna explained and admitted that, not surprisingly, she and the sports star ‘parted ways’.

London-based Anna has been dubbed Love Island’s first ever ‘plus-size’ contestant and ahead of her debut, she’s said she’s proud to be ‘repping it for the curvy girls’.

Anna’s won lots of comparisons to Kim Kardashian thanks to her hour-glass shape and tight stomach, but ITV have never outright called her their ‘plus-sized’ star.

That didn’t stop Jameela Jamil for criticising Love Island bosses for their lack of body diversity in the show’s new lineup.

Pointing out Anna, she tweeted: ‘The producers of Love Island think this slim woman counts as their new token “plus size” contestant? Are they drunk?’

Caroline Flack hit back at The Good Place actress, though, and ironically urged Jameela not to take the contestants for face value.

‘I’m a massive fan of Jameela and what she stands for. I’m not in any way putting her down, I really like her. Of course, people will look at things on face value and judge them, but the show is so much more than that, it really is.

‘And you can only cast a show on who’s right for it, in a relationship sense. It’s a dating show,’ she told The Sun.

‘You can only choose out of the people that apply.’

Love Island returns to ITV2 on 3 June.

Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is ‘going to therapy’ with husband David Eason to win back kids after losing custody

Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is reportedly going to therapy with husband David Eason in a bid to get her three kids back.

The reality star lost custody of her children, Jace, 9, Kaiser, 4, and Ensley, 2, after Eason allegedly shot and killed their family dog.

A judge ruled that Jenelle’s children will live with other members of the family, while sources claimed she and Eason are allowed to see their children ‘once a week for an hour with supervision’.

TMZ now reports that Jenelle and David are seeking therapy to help win back custody of their kids.

A source close to the couple told the publication, the pair have ‘enrolled in marriage counselling and signed up for parenting classes’.

They claimed David is also having a ‘psychological evaluation to find the root of his anger issues’ in conditions set by the judge during their custody case.

Metro.co.uk have reached out to Jenelle’s rep.

Jenelle’s mum Barbara currently has custody of Ensley and Jace, while Kaiser is with Jenelle’s ex, his father Nathan Griffith, and Eason’s other daughter Maryssa is with her mother Whitney Johnson.

Following the custody hearing, Barbara told E! News: ‘Of course I would like for Jenelle to get them all back eventually, but certain things have to happen first.’

A rep for Evans, meanwhile, told People: ‘At this time we are cooperating with the judge and legal team from court. We have no comment at this time and appreciate the concerns regarding our client and her children.

‘We will continue to cooperate with the court and their decisions.’

The custody hearing came after Jenelle claimed Eason had shot and killed their family dog (Picture: Instagram)

Jenelle and Eason are reportedly determined to make their marriage work, after reports claimed she was ‘considering divorcing’ her husband.

Jenelle claimed Eason had killed their family dog, Nugget, in an Instagram post while sharing her heartbreak over the dog’s death.

Eason claims Nugget bit their two-year-old daughter and later addressed his alleged behaviour on Instagram.

‘I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s**t at all,’ he said.

‘I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.

Jenelle was recently dropped from MTV show Teen Mom 2 after show bosses fired Eason over a year ago.

‘We have stopped with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season,’ MTV said in a statement.

Caroline Flack has insisted that the Love Island aftercare has ‘evolved.’

With the highly anticipated show just around the corner, the 39-year-old has spoken out about the duty of care contestants can expect to receive.

Earlier this year, former islander Mike Thalassitis died by suicide after his body was found in a North London park.

His tragic death came after the loss of another previous contestant Sophie Gradon, who had also taken her own life after consuming cocaine and alcohol.

Addressing how the show has changed following the two deaths, Caroline told The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine that people shouldn’t ‘cast blame.’

She said: ‘I think as the show gets bigger, it has to evolve. So, yes, the duty of care has become greater.

‘But this is a wider issue. We should all be looking out for each other more.’

The Love Island host added: ‘I don’t think you can just turn around and cast blame. It’s dangerous to do that, especially when other people are involved.’

And it seems the popular programme isn’t the only one to come under fire this year, as The Jeremy Kyle Show has also recently been axed.

The show was permanently cancelled following the suspected suicide of guest Steve Dymond.

ITV confirmed the decision that it will not air The Jeremy Kyle Show any more because of the ‘gravity of recent events’.

When asked whether or not this was the right decision, Caroline told the publication: ‘Yes. It was.’

The cancellation comes after guest Steve Dymond was found dead in his bedroom just days after his appearance on the show.

During his appearance, according to reports from audience members, the 63-year-old fell to the floor crying after failing a lie detector test that said he’d been unfaithful to his fiancée, Jane Callaghan.

In a message left for his son, Carl Woolley, Dymond apparently continued to uphold his innocence over the cheating allegation.

He told the Mail Online: ‘I called after he got home from filming the episode. He was distraught over the break-up of the relationship.’

The health and safety adviser added: ‘He was adamant that he did not lie. He was so upset that he wasn’t making much sense, but he just kept repeating, “I haven’t cheated, Carl, I swear I haven’t cheated.”’

As a result of the news, Jeremy Kyle was immediately was pulled off the air and filming ground to a halt until further notice.

All previous episodes were also removed from the ITV Hub, and it was reported that Jeremy thought ITV was ‘waiting for an excuse to axe the show’.

The final of Britain’s Got Talent has arrived (Picture: ITV)

It’s been a big week for Britain’s Got Talent with the 2019 semi-finals – whittling those final 40 acts of the series down to the top 11.

Following the five live shows this week, Sunday night will see which of those acts gets the chance to perform at this year’s Royal Variety Performance, as the final takes place.

The show’s set to be a particularly magical one, with magicians, mind-reading acts and even a spot of escapology taking its place alongside comedy, music and dance.

Ant and Dec and the judges will be on hand, of course – but what time does it all kick off?

Here’s what you need to know…

What time is the Britain’s Got Talent final on tonight?

The final of Britain’s Got Talent 2019 kicks off on ITV at 7.30pm.

The show runs for two hours and 45 minutes, with the winner crowned just before the end of the programme at 10.15.

Ant and Dec at the Britain's Got Talent 2019 semi-finals
Ant and Dec will be on hand as usual as the winner is crowned (Picture: Rex Shutterstock)

Unlike the rest of the shows this week – which were split in two, with the main show at 7.30pm and the results following at 9.30pm, Sunday night’s final consists of one long show.

The judges will also have no say in the result, either – with the winner chosen entirely by public vote.

Who is in the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2019?

The following acts will be competing for their chance to nab the series title:

  • Dave and Finn (mind-reading act)
  • Flakefleet Primary School (choir)
  • 4MG (magicians)
  • Siobhan Phillips (comedian and singer)
  • Colin Thackery (singing Chelsea Pensioner)
  • Kojo Anim (comedian)
  • Ben Hart (magician)
  • Mark McMullan (singer)
  • X (magician)
  • Jonathan Goodwin (escapologist)
  • Libby and Charlie (dance duo) – WILD CARD

Harry Redknapp stole our hearts when he was crowned the rightful King of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!.

And now it sounds as though the much loved football manager is about to get on his dancing shoes for a round of Strictly.

Yes, professional Anton Du Beke might have let slip that the 72-year-old is considering a chance at winning the infamous glitterball, when appearing on This Morning.

Standing in as a host, the 52-year-old went on to introduce his guest, Harry, and in a slight slip of the tongue, might have given away the reality star’s plan on entering the BBC competition.

Anton said: ‘Who is set to join me…oops, well…’

Realising his mistake, he quickly changed his tune and added: ‘Is he set to join Strictly Come Dancing?’

The tease!

Harry has recently said dancing is not for him (Picture: Rex)

However, after chatting to The Mirror, it doesn’t sound as though the star is up for a boogie, as he told the publication he’d be ‘hopeless.’

Harry said: ‘The BBC bosses sent over a dancer to put me through my paces for a day, but it’s not for me.’

He added: ‘No chance. It’s a great show but I can’t dance to save my life.

‘Even if [I’m a Celebrity’s] Fleur and Emily gave me some lessons, I’d still be hopeless.’

We’d love to see him try though, right?

It sounds like this year, the judges are hoping to mix things up as they revealed they’ll be dancing with the celebrity contestants.

Craig Revel Horwood spoke about the shake up when chatting to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning.

‘This year is going to be very interesting,’ Craig said before adding: ‘Because they’re taking leaf out of Australia’s book and Dancing With The Stars in America, and the judges will be dancing.’

‘We dance with the contestants. You put yourself on the line so to speak.’

He continued: ‘But I did it in Australia and I absolutely loved it. I danced with Courtney Act which was absolutely fantastic and I loved it.

‘It was brilliant to come into the room to choreograph, to actually create an entire scenario and star in it yourself, and be judged.’

Metro.co.uk have reached out to both Strictly and Harry’s reps for further comment.

The Umbrella Academy’s Robert Sheehan has no idea what iconic dance scene was about either

The Umbrella Academy star Robert Sheehan had no idea what that iconic dance scene was about either.

In the first episode of the first season, the estranged siblings all meet up in order to cope with their father’s death.

And while exploring the house they grew up in, Luther, Allison, Diego, Klaus and Vanya can be seen busting a move to Tiffany’s I Think We’re Alone Now.

While it attempts to show off each other character’s characteristics through their dance moves, as well as giving us a glimpse to their childhood bedrooms and memories, part of us wonders how the creators came up with the idea.

However, as strange as the scene might be, we don’t think the show would have been the same without it.

Chatting about the episode to The Hollywood Reporter, Klaus star Robert Sheehan tried to explain the concept, but it turns out he was just as confused as we were.

He told the publication: ‘Certain things about the show baffled me.

He said it ‘baffled’ him (Picture: Getty Images)

‘The dancing is one of them, you know like… People love it, people love and good on yous.

‘But for me I’m like, “why are we all dancing?”’ he laughed.

The 31-year-old continued: ‘I think it’s that thing, that’s like trying to show off characters.

‘I think the intention behind it was trying to show all these characters alone, as though they are alone.

‘But it didn’t end up being that, because we’re all dancing in a performative way I think, so, I don’t really fully understand what the dancing is to be honest and frank.’

It’s okay Robert, the scene is iconic and therefore we don’t have to understand it… really.

Explaining why the chose to put the dancing in, showrunner Steve Blackman told Entertainment Weekly: ‘They think they’re so different, but in that one moment, with that one song playing, they’re all dancing.

‘They think no one else is, but they’re all doing the same thing.’

He added: ‘Deep down, they’re all desperate for the same thing, which is acceptance and being a part of a family again.

‘If only they could just take a minute to tell each other!

‘But they won’t, and that’s the fun of the show, seeing if maybe one day they’ll figure it out and also possibly save the world.’

Scarlett Moffatt is desperate to get on her dancing shoes.

Yes, the former Gogglebox star has been pining over Strictly Come Dancing, but thinks she’s blown her chances of ever getting on the show.

When chatting to the TV Times, the 29-year-old opened up on how her history with ballroom might mean she’ll never make it on the show.

She told the publication: ‘I would honestly love to do it, it’s my dream but I feel like it’s never going to happen because I’ve openly talked about the fact that I danced a lot growing up.’

When asked who she would like to pair up with, the reality star gushed over Anton Du Beke.

‘I’d love to be partnered with Anton (Du Beke),’ she confessed.

‘He’s such a lovely man and he’s like the master of that show because he’s been on it right from the start. Who knows, I’ll keep trying my hardest!’

And it seems she’s taking her love for Strictly to a whole new level, as AJ Pritchard’s brother Curtis is already her Love Island favourite.

‘I’m excited about seeing AJ Pritchard from Strictly’s brother, Curtis, on it this year,’ she beame before laughing: ‘I’m obsessed with it. I apologise in advance to all my friends because the minute that’s back on I’m going to be glued to my TV.’

Same here, hun.

Scarlett has previously shared throwback pictures to when she took up ballroom classes.

Writing under a snap of her younger self all ready to take the floor, she told her Instagram followers: ’14 year throwback to my ballroom dancing days.’

The Extra Camp star then yearned over the BBC competition as she said: ‘Ahhh how I miss strictly!!

‘Also imagine going into school with this much fake tan on in 2004 🤣 I based this dress on my true heroine belle.’

The Saturday Night Takeaway host recently spoke to Metro.co.uk about taking on the ballroom again, and how she would love the opportunity.

She told us: ‘I really would love to do it. But because it’s normally on at the same time I do Extra Camp, I’ve never really been around. I’ve always been on the other side of the world.’

The Walking Dead’s Tom Payne has had his say on whether or not the show should move from Georgia if the abortion bill is passed.

For more than 10-years, the zombie hit has filmed in the southern state, and is currently using the same location for it’s 10th season.

However, earlier this week it came to light that they may have to up sticks if the ‘heartbeat bill’ is passed.

After hearing the news, Tom who played Jesus in the AMC show spoke about his views on moving set to TooFab, and understands it’s a ‘tough decision’.

He told the publication: ‘If you employ someone you have to look after their rights and what they can do with their rights, and I think that’s what these companies are doing.

‘I feel bad for all the people I have worked with in Atlanta and in Georgia who might be affected by these laws, and I’m friends with all of them, and that’s really tough.’

He continued to explain how AMC own the studios in Atlanta and so believes they’re committed to staying there ‘for now.’

However, the 36-year-old went on to add: ‘The right thing is to look after people and women and women’s rights to their own bodies.

‘I think it’s tough to put people in a position where their health is at risk, as they can’t get access to medical procedures that they need.’

Just yesterday a rep for AMC revealed that the show could join the ranks of Hollywood who are removing their business from the state in protest.

They told The Wrap: ‘If this highly restrictive legislation goes into effect, we will reevaluate our activity in Georgia.

‘Similar bills – some even more restrictive – have passed in multiple states and have been challenged.

‘This is likely to be a long and complicated fight and we are watching it all very closely.’

AMC wouldn’t be the only ones moving, as they would join the likes of Netflix, who recently filmed Stranger Things there, and Walt Disney Co. who said it would be ‘difficult’ to remain in the area.

The Walking Dead airs on Fox and will return for season 10 later this year.

Love Island’s Amber Gill has just gone and thrown all the shade at last year’s contestants.

The 21-year-old will be entering the villa in just two days time, and it seems as though she’s already started to make a name for herself.

When chatting to the Mail Online, the beauty therapist revealed she’d previously been asked to become an islander – however the request got lost in her DMs.

She told the publication: ‘I was asked on Instagram, I actually got asked the previous year as well but I had a boyfriend at the time and I didn’t see the message.

‘This year, it came up and I thought, “why not?”’

She added: ‘That’s the second time they’ve asked, so I thought, “why not answer it?”’

However, despite being asked to go on the show with Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer, it seems she’s pretty pleased she missed the opportunity.

Talking about her reactions to the contestants, the soon-to-be star revealed she would have ‘struggled a bit’ because ‘no one was her type.’

Burn.

This isn’t the only time Amber has made headlines, as an unearthed Instagram post raised eyebrows when she swore she ‘didn’t date black guys.’

The now-deleted Instagram story, saw the hopeful enjoying a night out of drinking and ‘twerking’ when the incident happened in December 2018.

During the night, Amber shared a post of herself being approached by a black man, with the words: ‘First of all I don’t like black guys X’.

She added: ‘Look at my face u know I’m about to boot off. [sic]’

Amber’s reps told Metro.co.uk that the footage was ‘taken out of context’ and that she is ‘not racist’ because her own dad is from Trinidad and Tobago.

The spokesperson told us: ‘We deleted the post as it was being taken out of context in regards to what actually happened.

‘The guy was pestering Amber all evening, and she said he was old enough to be her Dad, so was referring to “I don’t date black guys” because he reminded her of her own father.

‘The next part of the story stated this, but as the whole thing was being taken out of context we simply deleted.

‘Obviously, she’s not racist – her own father is from Trinidad/Tobego. She just didn’t want to date someone that looked the double of her Dad [sic].’

Tommy Fury has allegedly been caught texting about buying cocaine just days before his Love Island 2019 debut.

The 20-year-old brother of heavyweight legend Tyson Fury was seen messaging a group on WhatsApp ahead of a weekend stay in the Lake District for the May 6 Bank Holiday, talking about picking up the class A substance.

In a text obtained by The Sun on Sunday, Tommy allegedly wrote: ‘Anyone want a lot of coke for the night?’

A source told the publication: ‘When he sent the message to the WhatsApp group everybody just kind of ignored it. He hadn’t taken part in any of the conversation and it was such a random message.

‘He clearly wanted to have a wild weekend and get anybody else he could involved as well.’

Last Sunday, ex-girlfriend Millie Roberts revealed that Tommy dumped her to go into the Love Island villa.

The insider added: ‘Millie and Tommy had broken up and got back together several times, but when we were planning to go to the cottage they were still an item.

‘Whenever I’ve met him Tommy has been a nice guy – he likes to party.’

A Love Island spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘We have no means of contextualising these messages or indeed verifying that they have even come from Tommy. ‘

The ITV2 dating show is set to kick off on Monday (3 June) and already several hopefuls have been ‘axed after failing to pass a surprise drug test.’

It’s been reported that bosses implemented drug testing ahead of the show airing for the first time.

Former Britain’s Got Talent champs Attraction put their prize money to good use after winning the show in 2013.

The group, who use their bodies to create shadows that tell a story, triumphed over stand-up comedian Jack Carroll six years ago.

With their £250,000 winnings they made the wise decision to fully invest it back into their act so they can put on even more spectacular shows.

When asked by Metro.co.uk what the cash went towards, Attraction said: ‘We bought our first projector and screen! It was an incredible moment for us as before we had this, we would create our performances on the wall with no screen.

‘It was a huge turning point for us and has allowed us to create the shows we are now performing to a global audience.’

However they did treat themselves to a well-deserved getaway to Florida all together as a group after working so hard for the Britain’s Got Talent live shows.

Of course they look back on their win fondly as it helped them get even more attention.

Recalling what they did to celebrate after the live final, the troupe revealed they simply took a moment to let it all sink in.

Attraction said: ‘We celebrated in our heart. We sat down in our small dressing room, we cried happy tears together and [leader] Zoltan made a speech.

‘He told us it was an honour to win this competition, the British public voted for us, and we need to thank the audience for their support through our future performances, so the hard work starts now. We were just so overjoyed.

‘None of us thought that we could win the world’s biggest competition as a non-British act. It was the biggest honour for us and we’ll never forget it.’

Britain’s Got Talent will air its grand finale tonight with the likes of magicians 4MG, comedian Kojo Anim and singer Mark McMullan all competing to join Attraction on the list of champions.

Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has branded her co-host Piers Morgan a ‘diva’ and has revealed his two demands for the show.

The 48-year-old host, who was recently left red faced when Piers probed her about her sex live live on television, outed secrets about the controversial broadcaster, including his rogue breakfast choice.

‘Piers is a diva,’ Susanna exclaimed to the The Sunday Mirror Magazine.

‘Every morning he demands his newspapers ready for him and he has to have a hot banana sandwich during the show.’

Piers couldn’t help but take a swipe back and dropped: ‘All this, “I don’t drink” stuff Susanna says isn’t true.

‘Trust me, you want to go on a bender with her, because when she falls off the wagon, my God it’s spectacular.’

Piers and Susanna have hosted Good Morning Britain together for four years, with their work relationship frequently coming into question.

‘Piers would like you to think I fancy him,’ Susanna added.

‘I’ve heard the rumours,’ Piers replied. ‘I think I started them. But for her to insist to such an insane level that she doesn’t fancy me, suggests she does.’

A puzzled Susanna said: ‘I can’t even respond to that.’

Piers explained that the partnership is much akin to an arranged marriage ‘without any of the good bits,’ but it seems to work as they’ve scooped up two BAFTA award nominations.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
