Fear The Walking Dead season 5 finale pics teases John and June’s wedding – but will it end in disaster?

Will the survivors get a happy moment together? (Picture: AMC)

Fear The Walking Dead season 5 is coming to an end this week and it looks like there’s a wedding in our midst for John (Garret Dillahunt) and June (Jenna Elfman).

A happy moment? We’re sure walkers are waiting in the wings to ruin it all.

Judging the amount of Walker arms peering over that breaking fence behind Wendell (Daryl Mitchell), we almost guarantee it.

While we don’t see the supposed bride and groom, the gang are seen in a set of two photos flanking an altar with smiles on their faces.

As they build their new base from the ground up with the help of Strand (Colman Domingo), John and June are noticeably absent from the two sets of photos, but a camera happy Al (Maggie Grace) is definitely snapping something worth remembering.

Ahead of the scenes airing, Jenna promised to AMC that the couple’s bond is ‘unshakeable’ and what better way to cement that than with a wedding.

‘They have been through so much together, both needing each other in ways that the other can give, so it’s been a really healing, reciprocal growth they’ve had together,’ she told the channel’s blog.

‘They can definitely trust each other. That’s a big point of stability between them that makes them unshakable.’

She also explained why they wanted to get married, and added: ‘That it’s time to start finding ways to LIVE again, not just survive.’

Charlie (Alexa Nisenson), Daniel (Rubén Blades), Grace (Karen David), Janice (Holly Curran), Tess (Peggy Schott), and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) are seen standing proud as one side of the congregation in the pics, with Al on her knees shooting with her camera in front of them.

Will this mark a positive new start for the team? (Picture: AMC)

Dwight (Austin Amelio), Morgan (Lennie James), Wendell (Daryl Mitchell) and Sarah (Mo Collins) are lined up on the other side.

Their new home also seems to be shaping up pretty nicely, following the end of last week’s episode…which saw a hoard of Walkers promptly put their hopes of a new home almost to bed.

But this is a Walking Dead finale after all, and with Wendell walking away from a fence that looks on the verge of breaking, we’re keeping all our fingers crossed that he makes it out alive.

With a title like End Of The Line, we’re extremely worried.

Let’s see if we have a right to be by the end of the episode’s run.

Fear the Walking Dead airs Sunday on AMC in the US and Monday at 9pm on Fox in the UK.

Ferne McCann has taken on The Chase for a celebrity special, which is set to air later this week.

The Towie star put her knowledge on the line as she went up against chaser Paul Sinha, in a bid to win money for charity.

Well, we’ve seen the 29-year-old take on a box full of snakes in the Australian jungle, for I’m A Celebrity, so the Sinnerman should have been an absolute doddle.

The mum-of-one was joined by Dan Walker, Mark King and Ruth Davidson for the competition – which will air on 28 September.

But did they manage to beat The Chaser?

Someone who will be rooting Ferne on at home is Jordan Hames, after they were reported to be dating.

According to OK! Online, the pair packed on the PDA all night, after the Love Island star joined her at her cocktail launch party, in Mayfair.

Well, it’s alright for some.

And Ferne briefly appeared to make their romance Instagram official, sharing a snap of herself kissing the face off the 24-year-old – who previously dated Anna Vakili – on her story.

But she may have had second thoughts over the whole thing, as she took the picture down shortly after.

The reality star also opened up about her love life, telling the publication she was ‘taking the male approach to dating’ and seeing ‘five guys at the moment’.

‘I’m sick and tired of lust. Maybe an older man because I’ve always gone for younger guys,’ she added.

‘I’ve only ever been a single mum so I don’t know any different and I don’t need help.’

Well, seeing as Jordan is five years younger than Ferne, she might need to rethink some of that strategy…

The Chase Celebrity Special airs on Saturday, 28 September, at 7.30pm, on ITV.

The Chase have lost another lump sum tonight just a day after an incredible £75,000 win – and the winner has revealed he’s splashed out on a convertible to celebrate.

Jenny Ryan, aka The Vixen, wasn’t the match she needed to be for hopeful Bob, Vik and Dawn on tonight’s episode, and the team walked away with a £16,000 cash prize to share.

After losing their fourth teammate Jenny in the cashbuilder, they put up one hell of a match with a 20 step target in the final chase.

On top of that, they managed to push The Vixen back three times as she failed to get questions right, and as a result they were able to make it to the finish line.

Speaking after winning the cash, Bob, a retired greengrocer from Surrey, admitted he knew exactly how to spend his money.

‘I spent it by putting it towards a Mercedes E350 Convertible. Best car I’ve ever owned,’ he said.

‘It’s not the taking part, it IS the winning!,’ Bob declared, before adding: ‘Actually, it’s both.’

Dawn Vik and Bob took home £16,000 (Picture: ITV)

Meanwhile consultant Dawn from Essex decided to head over to Vegas to play poker with the cash, and Vik is putting his share towards heading to a wedding in Barbados.

‘I think [Jenny] might have been surprised, particularly because she’d managed to eliminate one of our team,’ Vik said. ‘The three of us who’d survived had only just scraped through to the Final Chase.’

She continued: ‘I thought we had a chance but only a slim one. Our score of 20 was pretty good but Jenny had only got one question wrong.

‘I think in all the head-to-heads and she started very strongly in the Final Chase too.’

The Chase continues weeknights at 5pm on ITV.

Aaron Paul reveals Westworld season 3 finale is still being filmed as he prepares to debut

Westworld season 3 wraps up filming in October (Picture: HBO/Getty)

Aaron Paul has got a busy few months ahead of him after revealing he’s still filming Westworld season 3’s finale ahead of the release of Breaking Bad movie, El Camino.

The actor is set to return to our screens as the iconic Jesse Pinkman on 11 October, but 2020 is a whole new world for him as he moves on to pastures new.

Westworld has been in production for what seems like forever, but with a trailer drop at San Diego Comic-Con, fans were finally able to peek at what they were waiting for.

But the show is still yet to even finish filming, Aaron revealed, speaking about what lies ahead for him this year.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he said: ‘I’m shooting season 3 of WW right now. We’ve just started the season three finale and we wrap at the beginning of next month.’

On his future prospects, which include a series on Apple TV as well as El Camino, Aaron added that he was excited about everything that lies ahead.

In Westworld, Aaron is playing a construction worker called Caleb, but there’s very little to go on about his new role – is he human or AI?

Whatever Aaron is up to, it seems that his character is in a bit of a struggle – and was even hung over a building during one shot in the trailer, while standing alongside Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) in a pensive slow-mo walk in another.

HBO
Caleb and robot pal George will be introduced this season (Picture: HBO)

It’s also been confirmed that Caleb will not come alone, and will have a helpful handyman robot named George on his side at the construction site.

While George doesn’t talk, it’s clear that the robot (who is clearly a robot) is a good confidante for Caleb, who declares in the trailer he wants ‘something real’.

Will he find it in Dolores?

Speaking about the new episodes, showrunner Jonathan Nolan warned we’re about to see ‘something that we hadn’t seen before’ which, considering the anything goes reality of Westworld, is really saying something.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie airs 11 October on Netflix.

Westworld season 3 is yet to be given a release date on HBO and Sky Atlantic.

Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge has just gone and landed a deal with Amazon.

After winning big at the Emmy Awards, on Sunday night, the 34-year-old has signed a whopping deal with the company and will work on new projects for Amazon Prime Video.

According to Variety, it’s said that the deal is worth around $20 million a year (£16 million), however this has not yet been confirmed.

Talking about her success, the star said in a statement: ‘I’m insanely excited to be continuing my relationship with Amazon.

‘Working with the team on Fleabag was the creative partnership dreams are made of. It really feels like home. I can’t wait to get going!’

And it seems the business are just as excited about the news as Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke has showered the star with praise.

She said: ‘We are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with Phoebe at Amazon Studios.

‘As evident in her great success at the Emmy Awards this week, she is clever, brilliant, generous and a virtuoso on multiple fronts including writing, acting and producing.

‘Fleabag has been a gift to our Prime Video customers and we are excited for what comes next from this brilliant mind to dazzle and delight our global audience.’

Phoebe’s career has only been going from strength to strength recently, seeing the actress’s much loved series pick up four gongs at the Emmys.

The hit BBC series took home the accolade for Best Comedy Series, with Phoebe winning Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.

Harry Bradbeer was named Outstanding Director for a Comedy series.

‘This is just getting ridiculous,’ the popular writer laughed as she collected her third award of the evening.

‘Fleabag started as a one-woman show at Edinburgh Festival in 2014 and the journey has been absolutely mental to get here.’

She went on to thank co-star Andrew Scott for joining the second series, telling audiences that he’s the reason for its success.

‘Season two would not have had happened or exploded in the way that it did if it were not for Andrew Scott who came into the Fleabag world as a whirlwind,’ Phoebe added.

Rylan Clark-Neal baffled as ex-Strictly pro Vincent Simone calls Michelle Visage ‘lady of the night’ on It Takes Two

New Strictly: It Takes Two host Rylan Clark-Neal fumbled on tonight’s episode when ex-pro Vincent Simone appeared to accidentally refer to Michelle Visage as a sex worker.

Rylan, who is joining forces with Zoe Ball for this series of the Strictly spin-off, was lost for words as Vincent praised the RuPaul’s Drag Race judge for her performance on Saturday.

Unfortunately, the Italian native made a slip of the tongue when talking about Michelle’s Cha Cha to So Emotional by Whitney Houston.

He told Rylan: ‘For me, she was like the Lady of the Night.’

Knowing that is an old-school common euphemism for a sex worker, a stunned Rylan went: ‘A what?!’

‘Lady of the Night!,’ Vincent doubled down, clearly not realising his error as the studio erupted into laughter.

‘That’s got a different meaning where I come from!’ Rylan declared.

‘Look at that, look at those Cha Cha locks,’ Vincent continued.

Michelle definitely wowed the audience on Saturday night’s first ever live show, earning a rare silence from resident Mr Nasty judge Craig Revel-Horwood as he was so impressed with her efforts.

Rylan joked that it was because he was too scared of her to say anything bad.

Alongside pro partner Giovanni Pernice, Michelle scored an impressive 30 for her first dance.

She’ll be hoping now to keep up her efforts as she prepares a Vienesse Waltz to That’s Amore by Dean Martin for this week’s show.

Strictly Come Dancing has revealed this week’s dances and it’s game on for the stars as they prepare for the first dance-off and elimination.

After everyone got through on week one, the celebrities taking part are relying on your vote to remain in the competition for another week.

Catherine Tyldesley and Johannes Radebe will have big shoes to fill with the second samba of the series to Let the Groove Get In by Justin Timberlake, following Kelvin Fletcher’s scoreboard topping efforts last week with Oti Mabuse.

Kelvin and Oti will be hoping to keep up their winning streak with a Waltz to What the World Needs Now by Burt Bacharach.

We’ve got our first Charleston of the year with Chris Ramsey and Karen Hauer performing to Out of Our Heads by Take That.

There are also the first jives of the series with Dev Griffin and James Cracknell both taking on the high-energy routine.

With James falling to the bottom of the scoreboard last weekend, and worries that he might suffer an epileptic fit due to exhaustion, he’s going to need to think fast to keep himself safe.

Voting will take place on Saturday evening, with the dance-off and first elimination being aired on Sunday night’s show.

Who will make it through to next week?

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.

What is a catfish and who are the catfish contestants on The Circle?

It’s almost time for The Circle to start (Picture: Jack Bridgeland/Channel 4)

It’s almost time for the second season of Channel 4’s hit show The Circle to get underway.

The reality TV show sees contestants living in the same block of flats but only able to communicate with each other via a purpose-built social network called The Circle.

With a cash prize for the most popular contestant, and players allowed to play as whoever they want, things can get a little, well, catfishy…

What is a catfish?

No, we’re not talking about a freshwater fish.

In this context, a catfish is someone who uses an identity other than their own, either totally fake or stolen, online.

Often, a catfish will do this with a view to either scamming, trolling, or tricking a person or persons into a relationship or in-person meetup.

James from The Circle
James and the profile picture he’ll be using (Picture: Channel 4)

Who are the catfish contestants on The Circle?

This season, there are two catfishes playing as totally different people on The Circle.

James, 26, will be pretending to be a single mum called Sammie.

He’s said: ‘I have enormous admiration for single mums. I was raised by a young single mum.

‘I have nothing but respect for her or anybody else in that position, to be honest, single mums give up everything for their children which is why I chose to present as Sammie in The Circle.’

Katie from The Circle
Katie and the picture of her son that she’ll be using (Picture: Channel 4)

The other catfish is Katie, 43, who will be playing as her 25-year-old son Jay.

She’s said on the subject: ‘I’m putting my personality into Jay’s profile. So the lads are going to love me and obviously I’m a girl chatting to girls so I think I’ve got the upper hand of knowing what girls want to hear.

‘It is going to be really weird, but do you know what I might actually find him love from this, so that’s alright because he’s single.’

In addition to the two full-blown catfishes on this season, there’s also Emelle, a 31-year-old who will be playing as herself only younger and straight, and Woody, who will also be playing as himself but will be keeping the fact that he’s the son of Zoe Ball and Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) a secret.

The Circle starts tonight on Channel 4 at 9.15pm.

The Walking Dead ‘could go on for decades’ as fans prepare for season 10

The Walking Dead’s reanimated bodies will be walking for a long time yet (Picture: Fox)

We’ve got good news, Walking Dead fans – it looks like we have years of seasons to look forward to as show bosses revealed they’ve got decades of material to work with.

Yup, decades. Which is pretty impressive considering that it’s in its tenth season already.

AMC CEO Josh Sapan spoke about the show’s future at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference this week, and said that Walkers gonna be Walking for a long time to come.

‘We have an awful lot of life left in The Walking Dead,’ he said. ‘I mean decades and decades of life left.’

In the meantime we’ve just got to hold out another two weeks to get to the start of the 10th season of the hit show – which picks up in the aftermath of the horrific pike scene that claimed nine lives.

Still reeling from seeing their loved ones heads literally placed on spikes to mark the ground between those of the survivors and rivals The Whisperers, it’s going to be all out war to start a new world without them in it.

With the tagline Silence The Whispers, Alexandria survivors will be trying to recruit fellow survivor lands to help take down those who have chosen to walk among the walkers.

In an animated clip, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) is heard declaring: ‘Our survival brought us together. We are a community of equals. Together we are stronger.

‘We share the bond of our common mortality with all who would join us in peace and fairness. For those who would find common ground, the world is yours by right.

‘Bound by a common trust, life and our humanity. We are making the world new again.’

But with the exit of Michonne (Danai Gurira) imminent, it seems there may be some casualties along the way.

The Walking Dead season 10 starts 6 Oct on AMC in the US, and 7 Oct on Fox in the UK.

What’s Richard Madeley’s strategy on The Circle?

Richard Madeley, who will be appearing on the circle
This half of Richard and Judy will be appearing on The Circle (Picture: Channel 4)

Yes, you read that right – the Richard half of Richard and Judy will be joining reality TV show The Circle.

Television presenter Richard Madeley will be appearing this season as a secret celebrity flatmate.

As we wait for the inevitable drama to kick off, here’s what we know so far about how Richard will be presenting himself to his fellow flatmates…

What’s Richard Madeley’s strategy on The Circle?

As yet, Richard, 63, has no strategy.

This is because the viewers will decide what his profile will be on the purpose-built social media platform The Circle.

The name of the game, for anyone who doesn’t know, is that contestants can present themselves however they wish on the website with a view to being the most popular flatmate.

Some people play as themselves, some alter a few details about themselves and others go full catfish.

Richard has said on the subject: ‘Normally I say no to most reality shows, things like Strictly and I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here and stuff. So [Judy] was a bit surprised as to why I said yes.

‘Then when I explained it to her she kind of got it. But Jack, my son and Chloe my daughter, were thrilled. They thought it was a really, really cool thing to do.’

He added: ‘This is going to be my Boaty McBoatface moment. You ask the public to vote on something like this, we tend to get an extreme result! So they’re definitely going to cast me in a very strange persona, which I’m going to have to pretend to be.

‘The whole thing just sounded really different, really funny and I thought “why not?”’

Richard isn’t the only The Circle flatmate with an A-List history.

Contestant Woody will be playing as himself, but he’ll be keeping his identity as the son of Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) and Zoe Ball a secret.

He’s said: ‘My whole life a lot of people have already known who I am before I meet them. This is a good chance to see if people actually like me on my own.

‘My parents know I’m doing the show and they are supportive.

‘They have given me a lot to think about from past experiences and advice. They said that what you say on TV is out there forever and you can’t unsay it and that once you share too much you never unshare it.’

The Circle returns 24 September at 9.15pm on Channel 4.

Reality TV show The Circle is back for a second series with a bigger and better £100,000 prize on offer.

If the hopefuls plan to win the competition they may want to take a leaf out Alex Hobern’s book, who won the first series after catfishing his fellow contestants.

Using his girlfriend’s photos, he tricked his fellow Circle members into believing he was 25-year-old ‘Kate’ – ultimately winning the series and a total of £75,000.

Where is The Circle winner Alex Hobern?

Since Alex left The Circle he’s had his hands full with various projects including appearing on podcasts, talk shows and festivals.

This summer he partook in a round-the-world trip as part of the Payment Race, which saw teams cycle across the globe using nothing but a single method of payment.

The 26-year-old also has a popular YouTube page with more than 13,000 subscribers. Some of his most popular videos have been Q&As with his girlfriend Millie and internet challenges with his former Circle contestants.

Ahead of the start of the new series of The Circle, Alex revealed he’ll be hosting a daily segment on his Instagram and YouTube pages called ‘Catfish Corner’, and will analyse each episode, unravelling game plans and give some behind the scenes knowledge fans may not realise.

The new series launches on 24 September and will welcome the likes of a woman posing as her own son, a 26-year-old man pretending to be a single mum and the son of Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim.

The Circle returns 24 September at 9.15pm on Channel 4.

Kelvin Fletcher’s dance background revealed after previously stating he’d never trained before

Strictly Come Dancing - Kelvin

Strictly Come Dancing’s Kelvin Fletcher revealed he spent years training in ballet before landing his role on Emmerdale.

Since being drafted in to this year’s dancing show after Jaime Laing was injured, Kelvin has been impressing viewers with his dance moves.

But he spent years when he was younger working on his poise and posture thanks to his training as a ballet dancer.

Back in 2011, Kelvin opened up to Attitude magazine about his past as a ballet dancer, saying that he was mocked and called a ‘poof’ for having the hobby.

‘Yeah I had the poof thing before the acting because I did ballet,’ he told the mag. ‘I was eight years old and I was playing rugby for my local club.

‘I was having trials for my town team, but Tuesday I was doing good toes, naughty toes.’

Kelvin added that he didn’t mind the jibes because he loved to dance so much.

‘I always liked dancing and you’d go to class and find you had an hour acting and an hour of ballet,’ the star added.

The news comes after Kelvin denied that he had any prior dance training, telling The Sun Online that his moves were ‘exclusively reserved for weddings or parties with alcohol involved’.

Kelvin and pro partner Oti Mabuse will be hoping to keep up their winning streak on Strictly this weekend with a Waltz to What the World Needs Now by Burt Bacharach.

They dazzled audiences last week and earned an astounding 32 with their first performance together.

The Great British Bake Off’s Noel Fielding steps in as Michael tears up over tough 1920s technical challenge

The technical challenge became too much for Michael (Picture: Channel 4)

There was disaster on The Great British Bake Off as the bakers took on 1920s Week.

For the technical challenge they were lumbered with a pretty obscure challenge – Beignet souffles.

A Beignet souffle, or a ‘French doughnut’ is basically a ball of fried choux pastry filled with jam, which they had to serve with a perfectly silky sabayon – basically a posh custard.

Like most Bake Off challenges this was easier said than done as many bakers struggled to get their sabayon just right.

It was the frying of the choux pastry that tripped Michael up this week as he had made his batter too thin, making it difficult to form into a ball shape as required.

Michael began to tear up as he became more and more frustrated, prompting presenter Noel Fielding to step in and provide some words of support.

‘I’m freaking out’ the baker confessed, ‘I can’t do it. They’re deflating. I don’t think I can do this any more.’

Noel suggested he step out of the tent and go for a walk, but Michael insisted on seeing it through to the end.

He said: ‘I need to keep going otherwise I’ll stop.’

Noel told him: ‘You’re doing really well. You’re good at this. Imagine me doing this, I’ve got nothing. You’re nearly there. You can do this.’

Thankfully he managed to serve up his souffles on time, but judge Paul Hollywood didn’t hold back on his criticism.

Paul said: ‘I have a few issues with this. They just need a bit of volume in the choux.’

But Paul and Prue Leith were impressed with sabayon, with Prue saying it ‘tastes very, very good’.

Ultimately Michael came second to last in the challenge, which he said he was pretty happy with considering he came close to throwing in the towel.

‘I could have gone outside to have a walk but I knew I wouldn’t come back, so I’m not bothered about coming eight out of nine, because I still managed to make them,’ he said.

The Great British Bake Off airs Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4.

It’s Always Sunny’s Rob McElhenney doesn’t want Mac’s sexuality to stop him being a vile human in season 14

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is about to launch season 14 and Rob McElhenney is determined to keep Mac one of the worst people ever – despite him coming to terms with his sexuality.

The writer/star of the series didn’t want his character to change just because ‘he’s gay now’, and even though Mac’s come to terms with his sexuality, the rest of him is still going to be awful.

Some things never change and that’s just how we like it folks.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about what they wanted for Mac in the upcoming episodes, he said: ‘I think making sure that we are very careful to not change the fact that Mac is an abhorrent person.’

‘That was something we made a concerted effort on, to make sure we were servicing a very large part of our community, which is the LGBTQ community, and we wanted to make sure that we were having a character who was going to come out in a way that would feel satisfying and be in the tone of the Sunny, while also not just all of a sudden dramatically changing Mac’s character,’ he continued.

‘That is true inclusion, as opposed to saying he’s come out and now all of a sudden he’s this great guy. It doesn’t work like that. True inclusion is bringing the LGBTQ down into the gutter with us.’

If anyone’s going to be inclusive in dragging people into the gutter – it’s Always Sunny.

Rob’s comments come after the show was snubbed from the Emmys (again), despite his pleas for consideration for the emotional interpretive dance Mac performed as he came out to his father.

But there’s always next season, and by the looks of it Mac, Charlie, Dennis, Frank and Dee are going to be worse than ever – and there might even be a new roommate to contend with.

God help them.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia airs on FX in the US and on Netflix in the UK.

Emma Willis launched the new series of The Circle looking like she’d high-kicked straight out of Kill Bill – and naturally, we’re obsessed.

There’s a power suit, and then there’s the ‘I’ve got a sword so don’t cross me’ power suit, and she rocks it.

The host of the show is known for some seriously fabulous fashion choices, and she went all out with her new look for the start of the show.

Trading in her typically short hair for a ponytail Ariana Grande would be proud of, Emma’s suit by designer Amanda Wakeley was an instant hit with viewers of the returning reality show.

It definitely seemed a little familiar to the Tarantino fans out there watching.

For those in the know, The Bride donned a yellow one piece to take revenge on the former assassin pals that double-crossed her on her wedding day.

In one iconic scene, armed with a samurai sword, she took down an entire restaurant of people single-handedly.

Uma Thurman would be proud, Emma.

Nothing is missed The Circle viewers – who couldn’t help but love the look

Emma is taking over hosting duties on the series of the social profile reality show, where contestants scheme to win over the popularity of the group using only a specialist social media platform.

Either playing as themselves or turning catfish, the group have to do whatever it takes to make it over the next few weeks without being blocked.

On tonight’s live episode, the first eight contestants entered the show – and they’re about to get a new mate in Richard Madeley too.

(Not that they know that it’s going to be him.)

The Circle continues nightly at 9pm on Channel 4.

The Capture episode 4 recap: Is Hannah Roberts really dead? 5 Questions we have after Shaun Emery’s discovery

Ben Mills and Holliday Granger in The Capture
Rachel Carey finally got some answers tonight in the Capture (Picture: BBC)

*Warning: This article contains spoilers from episode four of The Capture.

It’s happened again. The Capture has reached thoroughly enjoyable levels of absurdity and while we’re still absolutely no clearer as to what’s going on, perhaps even less so than we were after episode three, we’re here to find out more.

Tonight DI Rachel Carey (played by Holliday Granger) had her suspicions confirmed: Danny Hart (Ben Mills) had been tampering with CCTV evidence and her career has only flourished because of it.

However, now her findings meant she was suspended from the force, and any chances of proving Shaun Emery’s (Callum Turner) innocence are slipping away.

But Shaun may have found a lifeline. Tonight’s cliffhanger suggested the fugitive may have found his allegiance, lead by his former lawyer Charlie Hall (Barry Ward), but, as we’re now fully aware, we can trust no one.

We’ve had some answers, but we’ve got many more questions.

Who are the group lead by Charlie and why is he now suddenly on Shaun’s side?

Tonight Shaun escaped the police and was bundled into the back of a van by mysterious teen, Alma (Adelayo Adedayo). Before he knew it, Alma had removed Shaun’s tracking device and taken him to safety in a rave missing any active CCTV cameras.

Seemed illogical, but turned out Alma had an ulterior motive. A collection of what appear to be vigilantes were waiting for Shaun’s arrival where he was reunited with his old lawyer, and former colleague of Hannah Roberts, Charlie.

‘I’m sure you want to know the f**k is going?’ grinned Charlie.

Duh.

Which also leads us to…

Who was Hannah Roberts?

Laura Haddock as Hannah Roberts in The Capture
Who was Hannah Roberts, really? (Picture: BBC)

Danny said it. ‘When did you last hear of a human rights lawyer defending a British soldier?’

We’ve actually learned nothing about Hannah Roberts (Laura Haddock) since her disappearance. Nothing. While Rachel has been chasing Shaun she forgot to learn anything about her victim, but perhaps Charlie’s gang will provide the answers. We’re still no closer to learning why Shaun was targeted, how Hannah knew his video evidence was corrupt or why she’d be kidnapped?

Was she an integral part of this crew? While we’ll have to wait until next week to learn who this pack are, but you can bet Hannah was a member.

How did Gemma Garland know Rachel was planning to leak Shaun’s CCTV footage to YouTube?

Lia Williams as Gemma Garland in The Capture
Who told Gemma about the leak? (Picture: BBC)

Following a simple request from Frank Napier to have Rachel thrown off this case, Gemma Garland (Lia Williams) blindsided the detective with a helping hand from DS Nadia Latif (Ginny Holder).

After Rachel ordered Nadia to have Hannah’s corpse removed, it turned out she ratted out the detective which prompted her suspension. But Gemma revealed she was already sitting on more than enough to put the final nail in Rachel’s coffin – she knew Rachel was planning to leak the CCTV of Shaun attacking Hannah to YouTube, subsequently tampering with evidence.

Gemma insisted she didn’t say anything, but that only leaves one person who could have instead: DS Patrick Flynn (Cavan Clerkin).

But surely not…

Is Hannah Roberts actually dead?

It feels like there’s more to come from Hannah, whether she be dead or alive her story is far from over. But did Nadia refuse to move Hannah’s corpse because there wasn’t actually a corpse to move?

What does the Frank Napier want with Shaun?

Frank Napier in The Capture
What does Frank want? (Picture: BBC)

Frank Napier’s (Ron Perlman) motives are still as muggy as Boris Johnson’s interpretation of the law. While we get why the CIA would want to keep their corrupt CCTV secrets well away from peering eyes, Shaun wasn’t on any mission to expose dodgy surveillance evidence. There must be another use for him, surely?

The Capture continues next Tuesday at 9pm on BBC One.

Great British Bake Off fans fume as Helena and Michelle are eliminated over Priya and Rosie

The Great British Bake Off sent two bakers home in a shock double dumping.

This week had a 1920s theme with the bakers creating cakes and sweet treats relating the era.

A custard pie, beignet souffles and a prohibition-themed show stopper were on the menu on Tuesday night’s episode.

There were tears and triumphs, and at the end of the episode judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith decided to boot two contestants out of the tent.

After Steph was named star baker for this week, it was revealed that Michelle and Helena’s time on the show had come to an end.

But viewers were upset that the ladies were booted off over other contestants such as Priya and Rosie who had both struggled this week.

Rosie in particular had a bad time of it after she dramatically dropped her custard tart minutes before the task ended.

Speaking after her exit, Michelle said: ‘To be here, to get star baker, to leave on week 5 is perfect. It’s been fun. It’s been emotional. I’ve made friends for life.’

Helena said: ‘I’m actually okay about it. I’ve had an amazing time. I’ve learnt that I can take criticism and have a laugh with it, and take the positives out of everything.’

The episode saw Helena make something typically weird and wonderful, serving up a prohibition cake based on the vodka cocktail Vampire’s Kiss, using her own home made raspberry vodka.

Meanwhile fellow baker Michael struggled with the technical challenge as his batter wouldn’t form a ball as it was too thin.

As he became more and more frustrated, Noel Fielding stepped in with some words of encouragement.

The Great British Bake Off airs Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4.

The Circle’s Tim reminds everyone of Robin Williams as he melts hearts of viewers

Charming theology teacher Tim has won over fans on The Circle already thanks to his super dapper appearance, his well-spoken manner and his cat, Bey.

But viewers couldn’t help but be drawn to him for a completely different reason – he looks exactly like the late, great, comedian Robin Williams.

Robin, who passed away in 2014 aged 63, has carved a legacy for playing the lovable joker on screen, and has even had a history of playing teachers.

Most notably, Williams played English teacher John Keating in Dead Poets Society, and psychologist Sean in the Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting.

Tim on the other hand, is a 58-year-old theology professor who alongside his cat made an impression with his dashing bright red waistcoat and matching trouser combo.

He immediately bonded with Georgina and offered her someone to talk to as she admitted her struggles with Crohn’s disease.

Tim also bonded with Brooke over his love of France after previously discovering she lived in Lyon.

So between that, the colourful outfits, his smart and friendly nature, and the beard, hearts were absolutely melted.

In fact, Robin Williams ended up trending in the UK as viewers shared the moment.

Oh Captain, My Captain!

The uncanny resemblance wasn’t missed on viewers, who remembered the late star as they watched Tim getting to know everyone on screen.

Tim was voted one of the most popular members of the new Circle, after a shock twist to kick off this year’s proceedings.

Just moments after settling in to the new house alongside the seven other participants, Tim and the gang were forced to rate the other members of The Circle.

Popularity is the biggest currency in the Circle, as some choose to lie their way through the came to be more likeable, while others choose to be themselves.

To add a bigger spanner in the works, Richard Madeley was thrown in the show as an ‘agent of mischief’ – set to cause trouble for everyone involved.

Will they be able to suss out his games? Or will be throw a cat amongst the pigeons undetected?

Only one way to find out…

The Circle continues nightly at 10pm on Channel 4.

Chris Hughes has opened up about fears he may not be able to have children, after undergoing an operation on his testicle.

The Love Island star – who is currently dating Jesy Nelson – spoke about his infertility worries in an upcoming documentary for BBC.

And the 26-year-old old revealed he ‘learnt things about male fertility’ that ‘surprised’ him.

‘Fertility is often a subject that guys don’t consider until it might be too late, so I’m hoping this documentary will raise awareness and help men who might be struggling with these issues.’

According to the Mirror, the reality star was diagnosed with varicoceles – a testicular vain condition – when he was younger.

After undergoing three operations, he was told he had a low sperm count, leading him to freeze his sperm.

Chris’ brother was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the beginning of the year.

Five months after confirming the news, the dating show star announced his sibling is ‘cancer free’, with a sweet snap on Instagram.

He is fronting BBC show Me, My Brother and Our Balls, which will focus on why the sperm count of men living in Western countries has halved.

Chris previously opened up about having children with Little Mix girlfriend Jesy, after the singer sparked wedding rumours.

And he called starting a family his ‘life ambition’, telling Metro.co.uk: ‘I guess we’d be fortunate to have one child, there’s a lot of people out there who don’t have that opportunity.’

Jesy, 28, recently sparked engagement rumours after branding her beau ‘my husband’ on a sweet Instagram video.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B2ww3kWHo1K/

Lifting the lid on those wedding rumours, Kem Cetinay’s pal continued: ‘I think we both want it [to get married].

‘I think we found each other, and we have endless respect for each other, I think that’s why our relationship works.

‘We’re proper family people, we love each other’s family… I’m ready to settle down and I think she is.’

‘I’m traditional,’ he added: ‘I like a nice church wedding and I think Jesy is open to that too. I like traditional things. I’m proper British tradition.’

Me, My Brother and Our Balls is set to air next year.

‘Proud mama’ Zoe Ball wishes son Woody, 18, good luck as he debuts on The Circle

Zoe Ball was one ‘proud mama’ as she wished her son Woody luck ahead of his debut on The Circle.

On Tuesday night a new batch of contestants moved into the same block of flats to try and become the most popular.

The catch is they will never meet the other flatmates, and some people aren’t who they say they are (looking at you, Richard Madeley…).

The 18-year-old, the son of Zoe and DJ Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim, arrived at the flat that would be his home for the next three weeks.

Before he made his appearance, the BBC Radio 2 host tweeted a message of good luck to her boy.

She said: Good luck to my best boy on his adventure on @C4TheCircle proud mamalady X’.

The show rather ominously replied from their official Twitter: ‘We’ll look after him.’

Woody will be taking part on the series as himself, rather than creating a fake profile to hoodwink the others.

He said: ‘I might tell one person [about my parents] if I really trust them.

‘My whole life a lot of people have already known who I am before I meet them. This is a good chance to see if people actually like me on my own.

‘My parents know I’m doing the show and they are supportive.

‘They have given me a lot to think about from past experiences and advice. They said that what you say on TV is out there forever and you can’t unsay it and that once you share too much you never unshare it.’

At the end of the episode, Sammie and Tim were named as influencers of the group.

Sammie, a single mum, is actually 26-year-old James, who insists that he respects single mothers.

He said: ‘I was raised by a youngsingle mum. I have nothing but respect for her or anybody else in that position, to be honest, single mums give up everything for their children which is why I chose to present as Sammie in The Circle.’

We also saw TV presenter Richard Madeley move in, but his profile is yet to be decided by viewers.

The Circle continues weekdays at 10pm on Channel 4.
