Jeremy Clarkson takes millennial approach to herding up his sheep (Picture: Amazon Prime)
Jeremy Clarkson has been forced to take a millenial approach when herding up his sheep, as he found himself without a dog.
Surely the number one rule of being a farmer is to have your very own sheepdog right?
But no, The Grand Tour star decided to use a drone instead, and we have to praise him for using his initiative.
Making sure the device played the sound of a dog barking, the 59-year-old chased his flock around the field for two whole hours after they’d escaped from his plot of land.
During an upcoming appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, the car enthusiast explained the kerfuffle, and how he cannot wait to eat his stock.

He explained the kerfuffle on The Jonathan Ross Show (Picture: Rex)
‘They always escape and so you’ve got to get them back in their field. Two hours of solid running around, on my own. I don’t have a dog,’ he told the host.
‘I tried using a drone, I had a drone and I fitted a speaker on it that barked and flew it around and they just stand looking at it and they don’t move … I cannot wait to eat them.’
The controversial presenter has teamed up with Amazon Prime for the brand new show, I Bought The Farm, that sees him navigate being a farmer.
But what he believed would be an easy ride has actually left Jeremy exhausted.
‘I am now a farmer and utterly exhausted as a result,’ he confirmed: ‘It’s a proper farm, a full-on farm and the guy who ran it for many years, he retired and I thought, “How hard can it be?”‘
Joking that all you have to do is put seeds in the ground, he continued: ‘Food grows and you eat it and it’s fine or you sell it.
‘It’s unbelievably difficult and at any given moment you know a bit of machinery is going to cut one of my arms off.
‘Have you ever looked at the back of a tractor? It’s just lots of different ways for removing an arm.’
But he did have a bit of a gut feeling things might not go to plan, as when announcing his new venture, the star said: ‘Of course to be a farmer you have to be an agronomist, a businessman, a politician, an accountant, a vet, and a mechanic. And I’m … none of those things. I don’t even know what agronomist means.’
The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturday at 10.25pm on ITV, while Amazon has yet to announce when I Bought The Farm will drop in the UK.

Luke Evans might be a man of many talents, but he also has some pretty cool friends to consult on his new projects with – including Jennifer Aniston.
The Hollywood star and singer, 40, revealed he sent some of his songs to the Friends star and Adam Sandler to get their opinions before releasing his new music.
And it sounds like they gave him the big thumbs up – as he admits Jennifer was ‘blown away’ when she heard him sing.
He told Lorraine: ‘I sent her some of the tracks early on, we stayed in touch since we did the movie Murder Mystery, and Adam Sandler as well.
‘They are really supportive of my work and so I sent them and she was blown away, she couldn’t believe it. Which is nice!’
The Fast and Furious star confirmed he would be releasing an album in the summer, telling fans: ‘Been keeping this under wraps but now it’s out.
‘I’ve signed a record deal and I’ve been in the studio recording my first ever album! I’m over the moon!! My first love has always been singing.
Luke released his debut album in November (Picture: BMG)
‘FYI… It’s not a show tunes album! More info to come in the next few months. Stay tuned!’
He finally revealed his debit single, Love Is A Battlefield, in October ahead of his album, At Last, dropping in November.
He said of the record: ‘The album is a reimagining of very well-known tracks. So we were looking for tracks that we could strip right back down to the bare essentials and then add new arrangements.
‘Turning an 80s pop anthem or power ballad into something more acoustic or intimate – but retaining the essence of the original.’
Luke has been singing all of his life, and revealed back in 2010 that he was trained by the same singing coach as Charlotte Church when he was a child.
He told WalesOnline: ‘When I was growing up, I loved to sing. I used to be taught by Louise Ryan, Charlotte Church’s singing coach, which is why I wanted to go into musicals.’
Before branching out into movies, Luke began his career on stage, starring in musicals including Miss Saigon and Rent and has since starred in films including Beauty And The Beast and The Hobbit.
Lorraine airs weekdays from 8.30am on ITV.

Sean stars in the Peloton ad (Picture: Peloton/Instagram)
The actor who played the husband in the viral Peloton advert has spoken out about going from an unknown face to a ‘symbol of the patriarchy’ overnight as he asked critics not to blame him for the ad.
Sean Hunter, an actor and primary school teacher from Vancouver, had his life turned upside down this week after a Christmas advert he was starring in gained traction online for all the wrong reasons.
The ad sees a husband gift his wife an exercise bike from the company for the festive season and follows her progress as she uses it every day, but many critics decried the ad as sexist and assumed that the husband only gifted his partner the bike to get her to lose weight.
With Peloton defending their 30 second Christmas commercial after shares in the company dropped by 9%, Sean described the filming process and initial reception as ‘extremely positive,’ but said everything changed when the video went viral.
‘[Positive] reviews from my friends stopped as the video went viral. I soon noticed that the commercial had several thousand down votes as the tweets came out and talk shows weighed in,’ Sean told Psychology Today.
With tweets suggesting that the character Sean was playing was ‘abusive’ and that his on-screen wife ‘would rather be anywhere else in the world than here, in her glacial home with the husband she loathes,’ it was a big shock for the actor.
‘I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. My 5 seconds of air time created an array of malicious feedback that is all associated with my face,’ he continued.
‘My friend texted me today declaring that I’m “a symbol of the patriarchy.”’
Discussing the repercussions of becoming a meme, especially as a real human with a real job, Sean said that he hoped his students wouldn’t change their opinion of him based on the ad.
‘I pride myself on being a great teacher and developing actor, and I can only hope that this affects neither [but] it’s really hard to improve when all feedback goes against any type of growth,’ he admitted.
‘Unfortunately, the problem is that viewers can mistake an actor as that person after they’ve seen them on television instead of a person given a script with no opinion on what they are being told to portray.’

Lubna says Lottie has ‘learned nothing’ after racist row (Picture: Twitter/ BBC)
The Apprentice candidate Lubna Farhan has ‘exposed’ the group WhatsApp messages where Lottie Lion reportedly called her Gandhi.
The 19-year-old was investigated by the BBC following complaints after she told rival Lubna Farhan – whose parents hail from Pakistan – to ‘shut up Gandhi’ and threatened to ‘f***ing knock her out’ in a string of messages shared on the 2019 cast’s group chat.
‘I have struggled for quite a long time,’ Lottie began.
‘When it came out and Lubna decided to villainise me it had such a huge impact on me.
‘I was prescribed anti-anxiety and antidepressant medication, which I have been on in the past.’
Lottie added to The Sun: ‘I’m not a racist and I stick to that. I need to show everybody I’m a kind, caring individual.
‘I’m not this cold, stone-hearted bitch everybody sees on the series.’
Lottie says she was prescribed anti-depressants after the allegations arose (Picture: BBC)
However, Lubna has since publicly responded to rival Lottie where she branded her an ‘attention seeker’.
The 34-year-old posted a screenshot from the alleged WhatsApp group which appears to show Lottie calling Lubna ‘Gandhi’.
‘Sometimes people with character are characterless,’ Lubna said in the message.
To which Lottie responded with ‘Shut up Gandhi that doesn’t even make sense.’
Lubna posted the screenshot to Twitter (Picture: Twitter)
Taking to Twitter she posted a picture of the message with the caption: ‘This is part of the original Group chat and as everyone can see that she DID make the Gandhi comment – and I was NOT laughing. Shame on her – just more attention-seeking nasty behaviour. Thank you to the BBC and everyone for the support.’
A spokesperson for The Apprentice has responded to the claims.
They exclaimed: ‘The wellbeing of the candidates that take part in The Apprentice is of paramount importance, and we have a thorough and robust duty of care protocol in place which includes an experienced network of support for Candidates before, during and after filming – including making support available at a location convenient to them.’
A spokesperson for the BBC added: ‘While this happened on a private messenger service once filming had concluded, the BBC nevertheless still expects the candidates to behave appropriately. The production company have looked into the issue and reported back, Lottie has been informed that her comments were wholly unacceptable and is in no doubt about our view on this.’
Lubna has made some bold claims (Picture: BBC)
Lubna, who was fired from the BBC show in week four has also told Metro.co.uk that she has received threats on Twitter and Instagram and people have even been calling her on withheld numbers to give her abuse.
The 34-year-old was taunted over her religion after she posted pictures of herself wearing a glitzy dress during a recent red carpet event, where one of her bare legs was showing.
‘You’re not representing Muslims’ and ‘you’re not a Muslim’ were among the horrid messages Lubna received.
‘I don’t know if it’s the same group of people or different people that are doing it or even if they’re Muslim or non-Muslim,’ she began.
‘My dress wasn’t even revealing, I went to an awards ceremony and I had one leg showing. I took a lot of pictures that night but I ended up taking a lot of them down, but I was at a red carpet event so I am not exactly going to dress in a burkha, am I?
Lubna went to the event with her fellow Apprentice candidates (Picture: Lubna Farhan)
‘It doesn’t make any sense. These are glamorous events and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the fact that I want to show my body, it’s more important to be a good human first.’
Lubna has since deleted a lot of the messages, although an example of the abuse she got sent included the likes of ‘Dirty legs, cover them. Shame on you, you’re gone.’
Another read: ‘I thought you were Muslim? Stop showing your legs, you’re finished mate if I see you anywhere.’
The mum-of-two went on to explain that she removed the photos because she feared for the safety of her children.
She continued: ‘Some people have threatened me and said, “if you walk out of the house that’s it”. A lot of the people have deleted some of the comments but I live in a small area so it wouldn’t take much to find out where I live, and I have two young kids, I don’t want to make it unsafe for them.
‘I always have covered myself up, it’s not like I am completely naked in the picture and it has knocked my confidence a bit as I thought I looked nice on the night.
‘I have been worried because if someone did take the step of turning up on my door I would report it, it’s worrying but I don’t want to create any unnecessary attention.’
Lubna on The Apprentice (Picture: Fremantle)
The finance accountant explained that she has never said to anyone that she’s a ‘practicing Muslim’ despite coming from a Muslim family.
She added: ‘I do believe in God but I have never said I am a “good Muslim” it should be up to me what I wear.
‘When I tweeted about the messages I was getting, a lot of Muslims did respond and are supporting me but it’s more to the fact that I feel like the next time I go out I will need to be careful and I shouldn’t feel like that, it’s none of anyone’s business.’
The Apprentice continues Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.

At least she can find the funny side now (Picture: BBC)
Jodie Whittaker has revealed how she had a terrifying encounter with a rather dangerous spider while filming for Doctor Who in South Africa.
Speaking to Graham Norton on Friday night’s show, the actress opened up about filming the hit series and explained how she could have died from a single spider bite.
‘Unbeknownst to me, the crew was filming a huge sac spider, and no one told me how terrifying and dangerous it was,’ she began.
‘It crawled down my face and inside my costume – I absolutely bricked it and can’t repeat what I said. I found out after that I could have died! It was horrific.’
The host also quizzed Jodie about the plot of the long-running show, although much to our disappointed the star didn’t give much away at all.
She continued: ‘I can’t tell you much, but it’s very ambitious and kicks off with a two-parter, with the first part on New Year’s Day. It is really exciting and it’s great to have the team back together.
‘I can also tell you that Stephen Fry and Lenny Henry are part of the ensemble. With the show everything is a secret, so you’re getting nothing else.’
We are so glad you’re ok Jodie (Photographer: Ian West)
Talking about being the Doctor and the fame it brings, she added: ‘It’s an interesting thing and it’s all over the world and you have this weird narcissism thing where you think everyone is watching you. The most embarrassing thing happened to me yesterday on the tube.
‘I was standing on the platform with my empty reusable cup and an elderly gentleman walked towards me and put his arm into my space and I was like, “What are you doing?” He said sorry and explained he was trying to put some money in my cup! He had no idea who I was.’
Jodie Whittaker is back as the Doctor in the new series of the show – with the recently released trailer suggesting some tense moments (Picture: BBC)
It’s not yet been confirmed what time it will air though, so keep an eye on those schedules for more details.
Subsequent episodes of the show will air on Sunday nights on BBC One, with the transmission time once again to be confirmed.
The series will kick off with a two-part special called Spyfall – no relation to the James Bond movie – which brings Jodie Whittaker back to the Tardis as the 13th Time Lord.
Doctor Who returns to BBC One in early 2020.

He told presenters Ant Mc Partlin and Dec Donnelly: ‘My nan’s not very well at the moment so it was one of those things… I was debating doing the show before coming out.’
However Myles had no regrets taking part in the show and enjoyed ‘every last single second of it’.
He added: ‘The ups, the downs, the lows, the highs.

Which celebrities remain in the I’m A Celebrity jungle?
Here’s who is left in the jungle after the latest elimination:
James May has revealed he didn’t want to be with Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond while filming for season four of The Grand Tour.
For the first season four special, Seamen, the trio had to set off on a pretty rocky boat trip in Vietnam.
Each man took a different style of boat to make the journey and the waters were pretty choppy.
In a new teaser clip of the show, poor Richard gets soaked, Jeremy is loving the speed and James revealed he was trying to catch up to people he didn’t even want to be with.
In the 30-second clip, Jeremy can be spotted shouting: ‘The speeeeed’ while James, who is getting left behind exclaims: ‘I am trying to catch up with people who I don’t even want to be with anyway.’
That’s a bit harsh James (Picture: Amazon)
The boys are back! (Picture: Amazon)
The clip ends with Jeremy stating: ‘Hammond the Nav has gone.’
To which he responds: ‘Ah so we have lost the thing that has got us lost.’
It was then he noticed just how rough the conditions were out on the water, but he wasn’t too fussed about his co-stars.
Speaking about his concern for the hard-working crew, he joked: ‘I didn’t care about James and Richard, but the camera guys and the production team, they were really quite scared because those boats were sinking and four fishermen were drowning right by that river.’
Oh dear, harsh Jeremy.
The Grand Tour presents: Seamen comes to Amazon Prime Video on December 13.

This Morning viewers were left ‘lost for words’ over one Christmas fanatic’s flashy decorations, with some branding them ‘tacky’.
How very rude.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford chatted to Michael, a resident in Hove, who explained that his neighbours actually love this OTT decor – and he gets notes through the door asking when the lights are going up.
His decorations include inflatable Santas and snowmen, a sleigh filled with reindeer, and an entire Nativity scene.
Nope that's not nice at all, light just thrown up anywhere, it doesn't make sence… just looks like an expensive mess… #thismorning
‘Seeing the children’s faces when they come up to see the lights, it’s magical,’ he said.
‘My wife loves it, I started about 20 years ago…We tend to put more out each year, we cheer up everyone.’
Revealing he puts the lights up during the second week of October, it’s clear he’s definitely in the festive spirit.
Viewers had mixed reactions.
He was loving life (Picture: ITV)
‘Just looks like an expensive mess,’ one declared, with another saying: ‘What a waste of time, I’m glad he’s not my neighbour.’
‘I’m lost for words, it does look tacky,’ one more pointed out.
However, others were all for it.
‘How miserable do you have to be to not enjoy Christmas lights and decorations?!’ one viewer asked.
‘It’s not tacky, it’s called fun! Let people enjoy things. I think Michael is great fun and I’d be very happy to be his neighbour.’
Not everyone enjoyed it (Picture: ITV)
A former Royal butler appeared as a guest on the show, arguing that Michael’s decorations are ‘tacky’.
‘I love that word – tacky,’ he said. ‘You don’t have to go over the top.’
He said that there should be enough decorations that it feels festive, explaining that, in his own house, ‘it’s all quick, simple and straightforward.’
Sounds very festive.

In a preview for Friday night’s episode, we see DJ Roman and Coronation Street star Andy take on the terrifyingly titled Pump of Peril, with the pair being forced to choose answers to general knowledge questions from a pile of potential answers before them.
However, the jungle being the jungle, things are never that simple.
With Andy trying to collect his answers while going up and down on a giant seesaw – and being pelted with the usual horrible I’m A Celeb stuff – Roman finds himself strapped to a giant spinning wheel, having to grab at the answers while his head is submerged under the water.
As if this wasn’t hard enough, the questions themselves proved to be a little difficult for the pair (and to be honest, us too!), as they are asked by Ant and Dec to name the largest Australian state.
‘What do you think Andy?’ Roman asked, only getting back an ‘I don’t know mate’ from his partner.
Andy and Roman faced the challenge (Picture: ITV)
Rather you than us (Picture: ITV)
With a pile of potential answers before them, the stars each had to grab at the answers before them, picking up the words ‘Northern’, ‘Hemsworth’ and ‘Orange County’ which even we know aren’t right.
That being said, Dec’s cackle as Andy is pelted with guts and blood is a definite mood…
Speaking about his time in the jungle, the Rak-Su singer gave us some information none of us asked for, after revealing that he didn’t shower for almost a week while in the jungle.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain, he exclaimed: ‘I was using Femfresh on the days I wasn’t showering, the shower is so cold is ridiculous, four days went after I smelt my armpit and then I realised I had better shower now.’
Not showering after bathing in fish guts – there’s one we haven’t heard before.

Swapping the doom and gloom in the UK for a warmer climate, the Islanders will move into a brand new villa far away from the Mallorca pad used in the summer series.
The Cape Town villa is even more luxurious than the one in Spain (Picture: ITV)
Producers are expected to head to South Africa on New Year’s Day to prep ahead of the launch, with the Islanders flying out just days before the launch.
A source told Mail Online: ‘Bosses are still deciding on the final date but it is thought to be January 8 – a week after staff arrive in South Africa.
‘The new cast of singletons fly out just days before the launch but bosses work with test Islanders to uncover the best spots in the villa to create drama.’
Kerry Katona has hit out at This Morning for calling her ‘irresponsible’ for promoting weight loss injections.
The former Atomic Kitten star has been using Skinnyjab products to lose weight, and promotes the injections on her social media accounts.
Kerry, 39, has lost two stone since August and dropped to a size eight, crediting the jabs with helping her weight loss.
However, on Wednesday’s edition of This Morning, Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield called out Kerry and Gemma Collins for promoting the injections.
Kerry has hit back at the claims (Picture: Dave J Hogan/Getty Images)
Holly, 38, said: ‘Could an injection a day help melt the kilos away? That’s what Kerry Katona and Gemma Collins would have you believe after promoting the use of slimming jabs.’
The hosts turned to Dr Zoe Williams who explained that the injections contain a drug called Liraglutide, which is prescribed for type 2 diabetes.
Dr Zoe said that when used for weight loss, ‘the results aren’t great, very expensive, horrible side-effects’, saying that the drug can cause gastric disturbance, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation, or more serious issues like pancreatitis, problems with the gall bladder.
And when asked about celebrities promoting the products, she said: ‘It makes it look like a wonder drug.
Dr Zoe called celebrities promoting the jabs ‘irresponsible’ (Picture: ITV)
‘I personally think it’s really irresponsible and dangerous, because they’re making it out you can lose magnificent amounts of weight using this drug, but the truth is you can’t.’
Now, Kerry has called the show ‘unfair’ for not having her or Gemma on the show to defend themselves.
The mum-of-five told The Sun: ‘I think it’s very unfair they didn’t have any of us on there. I’m not promoting this just for a pay cheque.
‘Of course I get paid, but I also use the product. There are celebrities out there that would promote something and not use the product. I need to know if it works – and it worked for me.’
Kerry also insisted that she used the jabs in conjunction with exercise and healthy eating, saying: ‘You don’t just take the pen and do b***er all after it.’
The former Queen of the Jungle has a bit of a rocky history with the ITV show – famously slurring through an interview in 2008, which Kerry blamed on the medication she was taking at the time.

The Big Bang Theory may be over – but that doesn’t stop fans watching each season again and again – and again.
Sheldon Cooper is one of the best characters in the hit sitcom (in our opinion) but do we actually know when his birthday is? (although he probably hates them).
Let’s got back to the first season.
During episode 16, titled The Peanut Reaction – it is Leonard’s birthday and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) wants to arrange a surprise party as he has never had one before.
But that’s not what we are here to discuss, Sheldon and Penny get into a heated debate about horoscopes – which in turn leads to the waitress actually revealing when Sheldon’s birthday is.
Of course in the discussion, Sheldon explains to Penny that astrology is fake and that horoscopes have no scientific grounding whatsoever.
To this Penny responds: ‘Blah blah blah, typical Taurus.’
Penny isn’t convinced (Picture: CBS)
Well that clears that up (Picture: CBS)
And this is where it gets confusing….
For Sheldon to be a Taurus he would have to have been born between April 20 and May 20 – but true fans know that’s not the case.
Eagle-eyed Reddit users have spotted a plot hole because in season eight Penny refers to Sheldon as a Pisces.
Ok, fine so it’s not going to change the entire series but with Sheldon, well being Sheldon, he would hate for anything to incorrect about him.
One user posted: ‘Wait, how the hell can Sheldon be both a Taurus and a Pisces? Penny switches between the two halfway.’
Another fan responded: ‘Yeah I noticed that – obviously a mistake. Sheldon would’ve corrected Penny the first time if it was simply a case of her not knowing his birthday.’
One added: ‘Lol Sheldon would be so mad at us even debating this as he thinks horoscopes are trash.’
‘Get it right Penny, you can’t just make them up as you go along,’ another commented.’
The Big Bang Theory is available to stream on Netflix.

Dancing On Ice hasn’t kicked off just yet but Trisha Goddard is already throwing shade at her fellow contestants.
Trisha joined the Loose Women panel on Friday to discuss whether competition in friendships brings out your worst.
The former TV host explained how the Dancing On Ice line-up all talk to each other on social media, but they’re not afraid to turn on one another when it comes to it.
‘With Dancing On Ice we all talk to each other through social media and we are all friends,’ she insisted.
‘But there only needs to be a photo opportunity or when we are skating.’
Stacey Solomon then interrupted: ‘Tell us how it really it is Trish.’
‘It is a competition and people will be like “I will be friendly to you now” but if we are up against each other “you’re going to die”.’

Other names include model Caprice, Joe Swash, Diversity’s Perri Kiely, Libby Clegg and magician Ben Hanlan.

Trisha Goddard has opened up about the time she suffered horrific racist abuse – and it got so bad she even had KKK spray-painted on her front door.
Trisha joined the Loose Women panel on Friday to discuss whether Meghan Markle will ever be accepted by Britain.
The discussion soon shifted to talking about race and culture as the former TV host explained: ‘When you have grown up with certain phrases being used time and time again, you know what they mean.
‘The other fact behind this is the editor of Hello magazine said for the first time they have had to employ a record number of people to get rid of the negative comments, and subsequently, the Royal’s have.
‘Purely outright racist stuff just on and on and on and legally you can’t say that in a newspaper, so their phrases you might not hear but we have heard year upon year.’
We can’t wait to see her on the show (Photo: Meddle/ITV/REX)
She continued: ‘In the old days they would just come out and say it. When I was out in Australia and I was the first black woman on television, people would use the N-word and you could confront it.
‘I even had KKK sprayed on my front door.’

‘That selfie with Boris. Not a good look,’ said one viewer who took to Twitter to complain.
‘Why do I feel similar vibes when Phil & Holly have a selfie with Johnson just like when Jimmy Fallon touched Trump’s hair on his chat show?’ said another.
One viewer even accused Holly of being ‘giggly like a school girl with a crush.’

Risking making things worse, Philip took to Twitter himself yesterday to defend he and Holly for posing for the pic.
‘Can I point out that if Mr Corbyn had asked for a selfie, we would have happily obliged.’
Boris’s interview with Phil and Holly follows BBC interviewer Andrew Neil, famous for his interrogative style, challenging the politician to an interview on his show, saying: ‘It is not too late. We have an interview prepared. Oven-ready, as Mr Johnson likes to say.’

Chernobyl’s Emily Watson talks award-winning series (Picture: Sky / HBO)
Emily Watson has opened up on her time filming the award-winning series, Chernobyl.
The 52-year-old played the nuclear physicist Ulana Khomyuk, one of the few make-believe characters created for the Sky Atlantic and HBO show.
Representing the scientists that worked on the 1986 nuclear disaster, the star has absolutely floored viewers with her performance.
And now, when chatting to Metro.co.uk on the red carpet of the Women In Film And Television Awards, in London, the mother-of-two revealed how she handled the darker scenes.
Talking about the director Johan Renck’s decision to cast a woman as the lead scientist, she told us: ‘Well I think it is truly representative of that time.

‘In the Soviet Union a lot of women were working in that world, and also I think she just had a different perspective on it all.
‘The way they created the character, she was incredibly tough she didn’t have the same currency in the party structure and the men, which made her less worried about her status and more able to fearlessly pursue the truth.’
Looking back on the series after it went onto win a number of Emmys, Emily called the project ‘amazing’.
‘It was very special,’ she said: ‘It was an amazing thing to be a part of, we knew we were attempting something very ambitious but everyone turned up with their A-game.’

But despite it being a ‘wonderful’ experience, there were some aspects that understandably did take their toll on the actress.
‘There were days when it was pretty heavy when we were dealing with the radiation burns,’ she explained: ‘That makeup is so brilliant and so realistic but you deal with it with respect.’
And if that wasn’t enough to comprehend, Emily laughed: ‘And there was a lot of nuclear physics to get your head around!’
But it seems she had a lot of help from the network as well as reading some eye witness testimonies that she said ‘formed the basis of the human side of the script.’
‘We shot in Lithuania and Ukraine and yeah, a lot of the crew had first-hand knowledge of that kind of society, or their parents did.’
Chernobyl is available to stream on Sky Go or NOW TV.

Samantha Morton wishes she had scenes with Andrew Lincoln in The Walking Dead (Picture: AMC)
**Warning, spoilers for The Walking Dead are below – read at your own peril.
Samantha Morton regrets not having any scenes with Andrew Lincoln in The Walking Dead.
The 42-year-old joined the zombie hit as the show’s villain Alpha in season nine, just shortly after Rick Grimes’ sudden exit.
This meant that the duo never actually had any screen time together, despite the pair playing major roles in the AMC show.
Talking to Metro.co.uk on the red carpet of the Women In Film And Television Awards, in London, the mother-of-three confessed that she would have loved to have featured in a couple of scenes with the fan favourite.
And to be honest, we would have liked that too.

When we asked if she wished she’d been around in the Rick Grimes era, the star said: ‘I suppose I do, but we have gone far away from the comics in some ways, and I think that’s fine.’
But despite Alpha never having the pleasure of meeting Rick, Samantha did insist: ‘I have a great time working with who I’m working with now. I’m loving it.’
She went onto praise the showrunner Angela Kang, who also began her Walking Dead journey at the start of season nine.
‘I think what’s wonderful with Angela taking over the show is it’s much more female-centric,’ Samantha stated before getting excited over Carol’s ‘fantastic’ storyline.
Without giving too much away, the award-winning actress teased a number of ‘surprises’ would happen in the second half of season 10, however, remained coy over any more Alpha and Negan scenes.

‘Who knows?’ she laughed as she walked off to the ceremony in her black lace gown.
One thing is for sure, she’s sticking around for some time yet as Samantha still sported her infamous buzz cut, which had just started to grow back after she’d wrapped up the forthcoming season.
The last episode left us on a cliff hanger, seeing Alpha trap Carol and Daryl in an underground lair.
As the duo stumbled into a pit, the camera panned out showing a swarm of zombies throwing their arms towards the much-loved characters.
Part of us thinks this is where the showdown between Carol and Alpha will take place, but who will win?
Alpha knows the tunnels in the cave – but Carol has Daryl on her side – we know who we’ll be placing bets on.
The Walking Dead season 10 will return to AMC and Fox UK after a short break, however, a date is yet to be released.

The official synopsis for the show, which will debut its first season in full on the streaming platform on New Year’s Day, tantalisingly reads: ‘A CIA officer investigates a charismatic figure whose followers believe that he can perform miracles.
‘Is he a divine entity or a dangerous con artist?’
The trailer has already attracted plenty of attention online, making it very likely that Messiah will be the next smash hit Netflix series when it debuts in the new year.
But some people are already convinced that they’ve stumbled on a major ‘spoiler’ which, well, spoils a big part of the new show.

As ever with these sorts of things, here’s your fair warning: (Possible) SPOILER ALERT FOR MESSIAH.
The speculation centres around the significance of the name of the mysterious ‘Messiah’, who is being played by Belgian actor Mehdi Dehbi.
crying @ the fact that muslims figured out the twist ending of the netflix 'messiah' show b/c they LITERALLY NAMED THE CHARACTER DAJJAL pic.twitter.com/nLWWtxpKHL
This central character is called Al-Massih, which is remarkably similar to the evil figure in Islamic eschatology called Al-Masih ad-Dajjal – whose name translates from Arabic to ‘the false messiah, liar, the deceiver’.
Al-Masih ad-Dajjal, who in scripture emerges somewhere between Iran and Syria (one of the key locations in Messiah), has also regularly been compared with the Antichrist.
That link seems to suggest that Dehbi’s character will likely turn out to be an evil being during Messiah’s first season – which presumably was meant to be one of its big reveals.
As the online speculation about the true nature of the eponymous character continues, one Twitter user has even claimed that Netflix blocked them after tweeting about the ‘spoiler’ in question.
A spokesperson for Netflix has since denied the claim, telling Standard Online: ‘There’s no truth to this story we have not blocked fans.’
While some people may think they’ve already rumbled Messiah’s big reveal before its premiere, that doesn’t mean that people won’t still be tuning in come January – and only then will we definitively find out if this fan theory is proven to be correct.
Messiah will be available to stream on Netflix in January.

Looks like there’s definitely going to be some drama in this latest season and we’re ready for all of it.
The former glamour model was recently declared bankrupt after failing to pay back the £12,000 a month she had agreed to repay for the following four years as part of an IVA.

Katie reportedly ‘begged’ friends for loans recently, then promised to pay them back when she was back up on her feet.
A source told The Sun: ‘Katie’s been asking friends for loans, saying that she’s already got several business ideas in the pipeline and that she’ll make her millions back in no time.
‘She’s saying that the Pricey will be back on top in no time, so they’ll get all their money back soon – probably with interest.’
Katie Price: My Crazy Life returns to Quest Red with a two-part special airing Monday 9 and Monday 16 December at 10pm.

Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Graziano Di Prima smashed the Guinness World Record for the most Botafogo dance steps in 30 seconds.
Well done!
The 25-year-old Italian professional dancer completed 90 steps in 30 seconds, breaking Russian Strictly pro Artem Chigvintsev’s record of 79 from 2011.
He also beat out fellow dancer Giovanni Pernice, who previously managed to get 80 steps in the show’s Pro Dancing Challenge.
As soon as host Zoe Ball announced Graziano was the new world record holder, he excitedly jumped up and down on stage.
Visibly choked up, he told the host: ‘I’m so happy but so nervous at the same time.
‘Being the last day, you’re waiting and waiting… and now we are here finally!’

Zoe tried to make him feel better as she responded: ‘I think you’re being hard on yourself.
‘I think you’re not giving yourself enough credit.’
