Looks like Mel and Sue will be spending more time baking than chatting on TV.
The presenting duo’s daytime chat show has been axed by ITV after just one series
Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins hosted 30 hour-long episodes Mel And Sue during January and February of this year but the channel have decided against a recommission
An ITV spokesperson said: ‘Mel and Sue are great talents and we hope to work with them on other projects in the future.’
It was because of their successful hosting duties on BBC One’s The Great British Bake Off that Mel and Sue landed the ITV gig where they chatted to celebs and cooked up a few things in the kitchen.
