Celebrated Hollywood writer, George Clayton Johnson, has died aged 86.
The author and screenwriter, known for co-writing the novel Logan’s Run and penned the first aired episode of Star Trek, passed away on Friday after a long battle with bladder and prostate cancer at a Veterans Administration Medical Center hospital in North Hills, California.
His son Paul shared the sad news on Facebook:
