A Christian group are seriously unhappy with Fox’s upcoming TV show Lucifer.
The fantasy drama, loosely based on the character from Neil Gaiman’s comic The Sandman, sees Tom Ellis’ Devil give up the day job and move to LA, where he helps the police fight crime.
One Million Moms, a right-wing Christian group, have launched a petition urging Fox to cancel the show, as they claim it will ‘glorify Satan as a caring likeable person in human flesh.’
The petition has reached over 15,000 signatures so far.
It goes on: ‘The series will focus on Lucifer portrayed as a good guy “who is bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell.”
