The BBC’s awesome adaptation of War and Peace has come to a close with a finale that left the UK a collective withering wreck.
The series – starring Lily James, James Norton, Tuppence Middleton, Paul Dano, and many more – finished with an epic 80 minute episode and a higher body count than your average Game of Thrones finale.
Over the past six weeks War and Peace has impressed audiences hugely with its dazzling battle scenes (worthy of any big screen action film), outstanding cast (both young and old) and exquisite cinematography.
