With the news that Homer and Marge will split up in the next series of The Simpsons (but not for good, we have learned), the family are back in the spotlight once again.
But while much has been made of their apparently ailing marriage, we can’t help thinking it’s their parenting skills everybody ought to be paying attention to instead.
Because on the basis of these classic moments, we’re frankly beginning to question their abilities in that department…
