Netflix has announced its first foray into anime, with new series Perfect Bones.
The animated 12-episode series is set in a future where scientists have tried to play god by making the ‘perfect human’ in an aim of achieving universal peace.
Unsurprisingly, that doesn’t *quite* go to plan when the perfect humans are kidnapped by a shadowy, evil organisation, with the aim of creating a new world order.
The series will be the first anime to make a simultaneous debut in 190 countries – and will be produced by Production I.G, who previously created Attack on Titan and Ghost in the Shell.
