It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’s squad came out in force for the season 14 premiere – particularly Glenn Howerton (Dennis) who just seemed shocked to be invited.
Dressed in a dapper navy blue suit, it was clear Glenn was shocked by the turn out, to the point that his wife Jill Latiano and co-star Rob McElhenney had to help him perch on a seat in the middle of the carpet.
The whole cast were present and correct, with definitely no substitutes, at the premiere, with Danny Devito (Frank), David Hornsby (Rickety Cricket), Kaitlin Olson (Dee), Rob (Mac), Mary Elizabeth Ellis (The Waitress) and Charlie Day (Charlie) all willing to take pics with Glenn.
They’re just that nice as a group of people.
If we didn’t know any better, we’d say that pesky Dennis sex doll made a return to get in on the action…but what do we know?
Rob shared the group shot online, and wrote underneath: ‘From our family to yours, thank you for inviting us into your homes for 14 years. See you tonight. #sunny’
The new season comes as the show was snubbed from the Emmys (again), despite his pleas for consideration for the emotional interpretive dance Mac performed as he came out to his father.
But there’s always next season, and by the looks of it Mac, Charlie, Dennis, Frank and Dee are going to be worse than ever – and there might even be a new roommate to contend with.
It’s Always Sunny returns with the whole gang for season 14, with Glenn – who also stars on AP Bio – directing two episodes.
Glenn initially left the show at the end of season 12, but is back full-time with Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), Charlie (Charlie Day) and Frank (Danny DeVito) this season.
We’ve been promised that the gang aren’t ever going to change anytime soon, and there might even be a new roommate to contend with.
God help them.
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia launches tonight on FX in the US and airs in the UK on Netflix.
