Celebrity Big Brother’s first rebooted series is almost here – so fans won’t have to wait long to finally see the line-up.
AJ Odudu and Will Best revealed the start date of the 2024 episodes in a promo video, which was posted on the ITV show’s official social media platforms.
‘Guys, the wait is finally almost over,’ AJ, 36, began before telling followers the official air date for Celebrity Big Brother: The Launch.
Will, 38, added: ‘It’s going to be absolutely live. That is gonna be the first time anyone sees those housemates. I cannot wait, it’s so soon.’ You and me both Will.
The pair then began to jokingly panic about what they’re going to be wearing. We’re thinking of going for a pair of fluffy PJs and slippers if that helps guys.
So when will it commence? Here’s what you need to know.
When does Celebrity Big Brother 2024 start? Date and time
Celebrity Big Brother starts on Monday, March 4 at 9pm with the live launch programme – which will air on ITV1 and simultaneously on STV, ITVX and STV Player.
The celebrity version of BB comes after the ‘civilian’ counterpart returned to our screens in 2023 and was won by Jordan Sangha.
Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in nominations and tough tasks while having zero contact with the outside world. Of course, the hundreds of cameras will capture their every move as Big Brother is always watching.
After the main show, Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live will follow on each night where the hosts, special guests, and fans will analyse the house action. It will also be the only place to watch the evictees’ first live interviews.
Directly after, The Celebrity Big Brother: Live Stream will begin. Airing seven nights, viewers will have the opportunity to watch live footage into the small hours.
Only time will tell who will triumph in the social experiment and ultimate popularity test to become the 2024 winner. But more importantly, we want to know who will have the next viral social media moment.
Who is going into Celebrity Big Brother 2024? Line-up rumours
In the first teaser, various ‘celebrities’ were shown shying away from the paparazzi, using a variety of objects to conceal their faces, from shopping bags to a fluffy dog.
Soon, AJ and Will appear, as the former states: ‘Ooh they can run…’, and the latter adds: ‘But there’s one place they can’t hide.’
Despite keeping the celebrity contestants secret until launch night – there is a widely-rumoured line-up.
Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, and X Factor judge Louis Walsh could all be unpacking their bags at Garden Studios.
It’s also said that entrepreneur Levi Roots might be in the cast, as well as EastEnders star Max Bowden and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Bimini Bon Boulash.
Celebrity Big Brother airs at 9pm on ITV1 on March 4.
