Ryan Gosling was the latest guest host of Saturday Night Live, and with it being December, of course there were a few Christmas-themed skits to enjoy.

And in one sketch, called ‘Santa Baby’, The Big Short star and Vanessa Bayer play a couple with an intense belief in Santa Claus, and an obsessive need to meet him.

While attending a Christmas party, they believe that the ‘real’ Santa would be making a visit and start to get super weird about it.

It’s like Christmas meets Natural Born Killers the way Ryan and Vanessa go about it.

Looks like Naughty Boy hasn’t burnt all his bridges as Simon Cowell totally gave the music producer a well-timed shout on Saturday’s The X Factor.

Unfortunately for Simon though, fans of his biggest band ever, One Direction, weren’t all that happy about it.

Hopeful Lauren Murray had just finished a stunning performance of Runnin’, Beyonce’s latest single with Naughty Boy and Arrow Benjamin, when Simon told her: ‘I think Naughty Boy may have just helped you there.’

The comment came after the music mogul revealed: ‘Do you know what, Lauren? Watching you is like watching EastEnders! I’m up, I’m down, I’m up… it’s… Read the full story

Despite calls from many quarters for a female Doctor on the hit BBC drama show Doctor Who there is one person close to the show who isn’t keen on the idea.

And no, not Steven Moffatt.

Alex Kingston has revealed that she thinks the idea is ‘difficult’ and said that ‘if anything, the [next] Doctor might be of a different race than gender’.

Jay McGuinness’s manager has slammed claims that Jay has been banned from drinking or partying by his Strictly Come Dancing partner Aliona Vilani.

‘It is utter rubbish,’ Damien Sanders told Metro.co.uk. ‘There is no ban been imposed by anyone for anything, he works very hard and is entirely professional, as you can see from the performances each Saturday night.

‘Jay is a grown man that makes his own decisions and suggestions that he is ‘scared’ of Aliona are laughable, they get on very well and work as a team.’

He added: ‘We all work very closely together to plan the week and the training regime, Jay makes… Read the full story

Strictly re-recorded an answer during the results show to cut out Bruno’s ‘inappropriate comment (Picture: BBC)

Strictly Come Dancing producers were forced to re-record a segment of the results show because Bruno Tonioli said the word ‘orgasmic’.

The comment was made while Craig Revel-Horwood described the hand placement of the female celebrity dancers to co-host Claudia Winkleman.

Claudia then told the judges they would have to record Craig’s answer again because ‘orgasmic’ was deemed too inappropriate.

Bruno tried to quiz Claudia about it, but she just said, ‘there’s seven-year-old watching the show!’

It seems the BBC are being more careful about what the judges say after receiving complaints for another of Bruno’s comments in which he… Read the full story

Nobody is going to deny that the X Factor has had its fair share of dubious moments over the years that have raised questions among fans – but sometimes we can be a little too quick to automatically jump to the ‘fix’ conclusion.

HBO’s 2016 trailer shows which Game Of Thrones characters are back for season six

After teasing us with the first trailer for season six of Game Of Thrones, HBO has released another video featuring content for their 2016 slate, including a few tit-bits from Westeros.

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) doesn’t make another appearance (apart from the beginning as they looked back at last year’s shows) or Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) but it does show Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) has returned to her former regal position, as she embraces her son King Tommen Baratheon (Dean-Charles Chapman).

Looking at her face, Cersei does seem like she might have learnt a few things about humility – after being forced to walk naked through the streets of King’s Landing – but as it’s Game Of Thrones it’s probably not wise to get our hopes up about how nice Cersei might have become.

The TARDIS. In fifty-two years of Doctor Who, it’s the one thing that hasn’t really changed very much. It’s had stories built around it, it’s melted, exploded, been torn apart and rebuilt – and it’s still going.

TARDISes were a big part of the Doctor Who finale, Hell Bent – but how much do you really know about them?

Let’s not lie – if we were famous TV stars, we might get a bit big for our boots and demand an extra pillow in a hotel room or a bigger plateful at the catering van.

But there’s only one possible celebrity out there who would have requested gravy delivered to him by helicopter – and that is reportedly former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.

It’s that time of the year again when the most famous house in the UK, prepares its doors for tears, drama and romance – Celebrity Big Brother has been confirmed to hit our living room screens for another series in January, with Emma Willis returning to present.

It has been revealed that the house will undergo a major costume change – where housemates will be transported to a theatrical setting which echoes the vaudeville theatres of a bygone era – and the new house will have a decadent, antiquated feel.
