This epic throwback brought back memories for Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox (Picture: Instagram/courteneycox)

Courteney Cox is obviously having some serious moments of Friends nostalgia at the moment after revealing an old school photo of her with Lisa Kudrow.

The Monica actress posted a trip down memory lane with her old co-star with a photo of a day on the beach together.

Rocking the 90s hairstyles in a way that only the cast of Friends can, Lisa and Courteney hugged close as Lisa held an adorable puppy.

The pair have remained firm friends after decades away from the apartment (Picture: FilmMagic)

While we don’t think they’ve aged a day, Lisa bust Court’s bubble a little bit it appears, with Courtney captioning the pic: ‘“IS THAT YOU?” What Lisa K said when I showed her this pic.’

Yup, that’s her alright.

As well as that, it turns out that the star learned a thing or two from her OCD chef counterpart, and later posted a clip online of her perfectly arranged kitchen shelves.

Friends is still a favourite after all these years (Picture: Getty)

‘You can take the girl out of Monica,’ she wrote. ‘But you can’t take Monica out of my kitchen!’

Too right, Courteney!

Over the 15 years that the show has been off-air, Friends has done nothing but grow in popularity, and proving to withstand the test of time, the season remains a firm favourite across the world.

It’s even become something to sleep to for Courteney’s daughter Coco, who’s now 14.

In the past week, Lisa also gave us some new tidbits about her life on the set of Friends, revealing Matthew Perry, who played Chandler, had swiped her the cookie jar that lived on top of Monica’s fridge.

Lisa’s post comes after Matt LeBLanc revealed he stole the Magna Doodle hanging from Joey and Chandler’s apartment door and he now keeps the foosball from their foosball table in his tool kit. Take us back!

Friends is available to watch on Netflix now.

Death In Paradise will live on for at least two more seasons after series eight went out with a bang tonight.

The comedy crime drama, which sees the fun-loving detective team head out on a mission each week to find the culprit of a killing, has proven to be a ratings solid.

Despite losing two of its main characters actors this series – first with Danny John-Jules announcing he wasn’t returning for series 8 before Jacqueline Jobert said goodbye to her role as Florence Cassell – it appears there’s no slowing the show down.

Ardal O’Hanlon has been confirmed by the BBC to return to the police team once again as DI Jack Mooney, while Aude Legastelois, who plays newcomer DS Madeleine Dumas will be bumped up to series regular as his new right-hand woman.

Aude made her debut this series after the exit of Florence, earning mixed reviews from fans who were upset about the sudden exit of the firm favourite.

Speaking about her new, more permanent role, she said: ‘I’m thrilled that I’ve been given the opportunity to continue my role as Madeleine and to rejoin the cast of Death in Paradise.

‘I can’t wait for Madeleine to be fully integrated into the Honoré Police team and for the viewers to get to know her further.’

Florence decided to leave after the death of fiance Patrice (Picture: BBC)

Tobi Bakare (Officer JP Hooper), Shyko Amos (Officer Ruby Patterson), Don Warrington (Commissioner Selwyn Patterson) and Elizabeth Bourgine (Catherine Bordey) will also be back.

Tim Key, Executive Producer, Red Planet Pictures, said: ‘We’re over the moon with the response to series eight and can’t wait to get back to Guadeloupe to start filming the new series.

‘It’s an honour to be part of a show which is so loved by its audience and the decision to commission two series shows how much it is valued by the BBC.’

‘We’re excited to let the audience get to know our new characters better whilst also throwing some major surprises into the mix along the way – and of course solving the odd murder or sixteen,’ he added.

Death In Paradise is available in full now on BBC iPlayer.

Khloe Kardashian gets emotional over a ‘demolished relationship’ in the new Keeping Up With The Kardashians trailer, which has dropped amid the fallout of Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods’ betrayal.

Khloe is reeling from claims that Tristan, the father of her daughter True, cheated with Kylie Jenner’s best friend.

A new KUWTK trailer seems to give an insight into her heartbreak as she talks about being able to trust someone.

In the clip, Khloe looks down as she says: ‘It’s really hard to regain trust.

‘In one stupid weekend you just demolish a relationship.’

She also could be referring to the moment Tristan was spotted ‘kissing several women’ as Khloe prepared to give birth to their daughter.

Khloe is later seen in the trailer tearing up on the phone as she says: ‘This is, like, unreal.’

The episode will also cover how the family were affected by the wildfires that ripped through Calabasas last year.

Kim cries on the phone as the Kardashians learn that her home is on fire and they will be forced to evacuate.

Elsewhere there appears to be tension between Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian, as Kendall declares that she ‘wants to be alone’.

Khloe was recently spotted indulging in some retail therapy to forget about her relationship troubles.

So far the mum-of-one has been vocal on social media in the wake of reports about Tristan and Jordyn, sharing cryptic quotes on social media and unfollowing Woods. However she is still following her baby daddy.

Jordyn has since revealed that she will appear on Jada Pinkett Smith’s show Red Table Talk on Friday, possibly in a bid to get her story out there.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians returns 31 March on E! and Mondays on hayu.

If you liked the Flat Earth theories on Netflix – here’s what you should watch

Flat Earthers are having a moment (Picture: Delta-V Productions)

Ever since Behind The Curve arrived on Netflix last month, we’ve been curious about the Flat Earth society, what they believe and what they have been able to prove.

So if you want to know more about why people are starting to take Flat Earthers seriously, here’s eight places were you can get ahead of the curve.

  1. Behind The Curve (2018) – Netflix

Well, duh. This is the Flat Earth documentary that everyone’s been talking about.

In it, Bob Knodel, a Flat Earther and YouTuber, attempts to show the world is a disc through an experiment with a gyroscope, but it doesn’t necessarily go to plan.

      2. Eric Dubay: 200 Proofs Earth is Not a Spinning Ball (2016) – YouTube

Watched by nearly 750,000 people, this is considered one of the most popular YouTube videos challenging the perceptions that are currently held about the earth.

University professor Eric Dubay has written six books about the Flat Earth theory and presents 200 reasons why he believes the earth is flat.

    3. Is The Earth Actually Flat? (2014) – YouTube

Created by VSauce YouTuber Michael Stevens, this YouTube video presents some seriously compelling evidence for and against the theories in a bid to get to the bottom of the debate. Join over 25million people in watching his very visual exploration of the Flat Earth theory.

     4. Flat Earth Conspiracy – Earth Is A Construct (2016-2019) – Podcast

Lori Frary presents over 70 detailed discussions: from the exploration of energy to history of the theories and the supernatural. The podcast is now four years old but continues to stay up-to-date with developments on the theory.

     5. The Flat Earth Podcast (2017-2019) – Podcast

This weekly audio podcast by Curious J & DITRH takes a strong approach to their discussions calling astronomy a ‘joke’ and a ‘lie’ and suggesting that Disney is more credible than NASA.

    6. Road Trippin (2017) – Podcast

NBA player Kyrie Irving comments on the Flat Earth theory in Episode 7 of the Road Trippin podcast. Yes, it did prompt a public apology, but Kyrie isn’t the only celebrity who believes theory since Shaquille O’Neal and Tila Tequila have also publicly shared their support.

   7. Flat Earth PROOF: Spirit Level Flight Experiment (2017) – YouTube

This experiment, conducted by Flat Earther D. Marble went viral in the last two years. In a bid to provide scientific backing for the theory, Daryl submitted a new experiment to the society by taking a spirit level on a flight.

He challenged the theory that we’re on a spinning globe by suggesting that the plane should be dipping its nose forward in order to compensate. What he discovers is rather interesting.

   8. Flat Earth vs Round Earth (2019) – National Geographic

You can count on National Geographic to provide a trustworthy analysis of the evidence for and against the Flat Earth theory. Uploaded to YouTube as recently as last month, this short and sharp exploration ties in with the hysteria surrounding Behind The Curve.

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11: Manila Luzon gatecrashes Honey Davenport’s first photoshoot

It’s a family reunion tonight on RuPaul’s Drag Race when the new season 11 girls are pitched against some iconic queens for their first mini challenge.

In a sneak peek of the first episode to kick off this season, newcomer Honey Davenport looks like she could sting like a bee in her yellow and black ensemble.

Taking direction from RuPaul himself, the leading drag superstar throws a spanner in the works when he announces he wants to shake things up a bit.

Honey was serving face when an old friend dropped by (Picture: VH1)

Manila, from season 3, All-Stars 1 and 3 and all-round Drag Race legend, comes strolling out in white leather and heels, because she’s feeling casual today.

The pair clearly know each other and it’s then revealed that Honey is her ‘drag auntie-in-law’, referring to Manila’s long-held ties to the Davenport drag family thanks to her relationship with the late star Sahara Davenport.

Embracing each other like old pals, there was only one thing left to do – pose the house down, obviously.

Naturally, the duo killed it when they were told to strike a pose (Picture: VH1)

Serving face must run in the family.

In the first episode of the new season of the drag queen favourite, 14 queens are ready to battle it out in a spot for the crown.

But first they have to impress Ru with a fashion shoot, before the main challenge and their first runway.

To add just a teensy bit more pressure, Miley Cyrus will be judging the first panel alongside Michelle Visage, RuPaul, Carson Kressley and Ross Matthews.

Good Luck Ladies!! ….You know the rest.

RuPaul’s Drag Race airs Thursdays on VH1 in the US, and Fridays on Netflix in the UK.

Chelsee Healey gets the worst feedback in Celebs Go Dating history Picture: E4/ Celebs Go Dating METROGRAB
Celebs Go Dating expert Anna Williamson has defended Chelsee Healey (Picture: E4/ Celebs Go Dating)

Chelsee Healey stunned both her date and viewers on Celebs Go Dating when she received the lowest feedback score so far.

She was reduced to tears when she was told she received a 0.5 from her date Mike, after walking out early and leaving him to pay for their dinner.

But the show’s dating expert Anna Williamson has come to the 30-year-old’s defence, putting her behaviour down to ’emotional baggage’ from her last relationship.

‘Let me tell you now, she’s a really great girl, she really is, but Chelsee comes with a lot of emotion from stuff in her past surrounding her previous relationship and the father of her child,’ Anna said.

The Hollyoaks star dated Jack Malloy in 2014 but their relationship hit the skids when he was jailed for 12 months over driving offences in 2016.

They tried to give things another go but split for good. However Chelsee found out she was pregnant shortly after, and the couple share daughter Coco.

Anna told The Sun Online: ‘I think people need to give that a little more respect than perhaps they’re seeing that’s coming out on screen.’

Chelsee defended herself on the show on Wednesday night, saying: ‘It’s not me, I was nice and nothing but real and honest with him.’

The dating agents asked Chelsee to say to the end of her date, but she called them up to say she ‘wasn’t feeling it’.

The actress told the cameras: ‘Paul told me I had to see through dinner and not do one but he didn’t tell me I couldn’t speed eat.’

Meanwhile, Mike dubbed the experience ‘one of the most awkward dates [he’d] ever had.’

Celebs Go Dating airs at 10pm weekdays on E4

Celebs Go Dating star Megan McKenna was not happy about being asked to show her toes on a first date

Megan lashed out at her date when he asked to see her feet on the first date (Picture: E4/ CelebsGoDating)

Megan McKenna’s latest suitor on E4’s Celebs Go Dating did not impress when he asked to see her toes at the dinner table.

The former Towie star ended her date with model Courtney, 27, quite swiftly after he looked her up and down to get a better look at her feet on Thursday night.

It was little reassurance when Courtney told her that he thought her looks could ‘outweigh’ any ugly feet that she might be hiding in her winter boots.

‘What if my toes were really fucking ugly?’ she asked him, adding: ‘Is that what you’ve been thinking about this whole time?’

Megan was set up with model Courtney (Picture: E4/ CelebsGoDating)
Unfortunately, things didn’t work out between the pair (Picture: E4/ CelebsGoDating)

He replied: ‘I reckon your looks and the way you are could outweigh that.’

In no uncertain terms, she told Courtney that it was ‘fucking weird’ that he had a thing about feet, and it made her feel paranoid.

Over the years there have been some pretty bizarro fan theories relating to Megan’s toes.

In 2017, she was forced to deny claims that she had six toes, but then in 2018, she responded to the ‘ridiculous’ suggestion that she only had three, based on Instagram pictures featuring awkward angles of her bare feet.

The good thing to note is that she’s not at all sensitive about it in 2019.

So far this week, Megan has kissed both of the men she’s been set up with on the first date, despite telling the Agents she didn’t want to see them again, afterward.

But on Thursday, Megan said there was ‘no way’ she’d be kissing self-proclaimed ’11 out of 10′ model Courtney.

Megan is awkwardly starring alongside her ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks on the dating reality TV show.

He was the first of the stars to go on a second date during the new series, while Georgia Steele, Sam Thompson, Kerry Katona, Chelsee Healey and David Potts haven’t moved past the first date.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, Megan revealed that two of the couples hooked up by the Celebs Go Dating Agency are still together in real life.

The show wrapped in Spain last week and it therefore seems that hopes of making any genuine matches have been realised.

HBO drops brand new Game Of Thrones season 8 pics Credit: HBO
Game Of Thrones cast have been turned into emojis! (Picture: HBO)

Game of Thrones is back in less than two months time, so to celebrate Twitter has turned the show’s characters into emojis and we’re SO here for it.

The countdown is well and truly on for the final ever series of Game of Thrones to hit the small screen and getting in on the action, Twitter has created custom emojis of all the contenders for the Iron Throne.

Obviously you’ve got the likely choices of Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow and Cersei Lannister, Tyrion Lannister and Sansa Stark are thrown in there too, along with Brienne of Tarth, Samwell Tarly and The Hound.

Pretty cool, right?

(Picture: Twitter)
(Picture: Twitter)

Fans seemed to think so and couldn’t get enough of their GOT favourites in emoji form, with some trying their luck and trialling a few rogue choices too.

Turns out emojis also come up for #MotherofDragons, #TheMountain and #AegonTargaryen too, but there was outrage that the likes of Tormund, Gendry, Podrick and Bron haven’t made the cut.

Although, Twitter TV did tease that more emojis could be heading our way. It posted: ‘ Tweets are are being featured around the world. Who will sit on the Iron Throne? Keeping pledging your allegiance and yours could be next.’

Interesting…

(Picture: Twitter)

(Picture: Twitter)

It wasn’t just fans of the show who totally lost it over the Game of Thrones emojis, with stars of the hit HBO series finding it pretty cool too.

Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei, tweeted: ‘Holy Mother of Dragons I’m an emoji.’

Twitter also released a series of 20 never-before-seen poster images in the build up to the Great War, Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) shared those of his character Tyrion, Jon Snow, Daenerys and Cersei, teasing: ‘The End is Here.’

Game of Thrones is the most tweeted about TV show in Twitter’s history, with over 37million tweets being posted about it since 2017. Not a bad effort.

Its set to return with its eighth and final season on 14 April and already fan theories are being thrown about predicting how it could all end and who will come out on top.

So far there’s been no trailer for Game of Thrones season eight, but new footage released by HBO ahead of its premiere shows Ayra Stark mesmerised by seeing dragons for the first time.

It was enough to send fans into meltdown, with Twitter completely losing it over the scenes, all hyped up for Game Of Thrones’ return.

One said: ‘ARYA LOOKING AT DROGON ALMOST MADE ME CRY HOW EPIC IT WAS,’ while other’s agreed: ‘ARYA’S LITTLE SMILE WHEN SHE SEES A DRAGON I CAN’T.’

‘Arya finally getting to see the dragons???? IM CRYING IM BLESSED.’

Cameron Britton has given his thoughts on where season two of The Umbrella Academy could go (Picture: Netflix)

The Umbrella Academy star Cameron Britton has shared his thoughts on what we could see happen in season two – should it get the go-ahead.

Britton, who plays Hazel, revealed where he thinks his character would have time traveled to with his girlfriend Agnes in the finale.

He told Inverse: ‘He would definitely want to go to a simple time. Probably, with nature, you know. It’s pretty easy to see a cottage somewhere, but I think he’d still want the amenities of modern medicine.

‘I think his first question is going to be, “Agnes where do you want to go?”‘ N’awww.

Hazel would ‘want to go to a simple time’ says Britton (Picture: Netflix)

He also spoke a bit about whether Ben’s past will be looked into.

‘If Ben’s going to become a corporal being again, that’d be cool,’ Britton said.

While fans may be baying for it, Netflix hasn’t yet given word on whether The Umbrella Academy, based on the comic series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba, will come back for another season.

Set in an alternate reality where John F. Kennedy wasn’t assassinated, The Umbrella Academy starts in 1989 when 43 babies are born to unconnected women who were not pregnant 24 hours earlier.

Entrepreneur The Monocle adopts seven of them and prepares them for the apparent end of the world, but when he dies in mysterious circumstances, the siblings are brought back together to save the world.

My Chemical Romance front man Way has been totally bowled over by the response to his show.

Taking to Instagram, Gerard addressed his 1.7million followers: ‘So grateful to see so many people loving and binging the show, some of you on 2nd or 3rd viewing. I am floored. Thank you.’

The Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik in denial about show ending as she talks series finale

The Big Bang Theory is nearly over – and just like us, Mayim Bialik is having a lot of feelings about it.

‘People keep asking me how does it feel? Well, I’m going to tell you,’ she began, before going through the five phases of grief and how they currently relate to her feelings on the series finale.

Throughout the video, she admits that she felt in denial about it ending despite the end date edging closer, and it’s only as the show hit single digits left to air that she began to realise this was it.

Mayim has been playing Amy Farrah-Fowler since season four of the show, before becoming a series regular.

The star has been frank with her fans via her vlogging channel (Picture: YouTube)

‘I think emotionally I’ve kind of pushed it aside,’ she told the camera, before moving into anger and admitting she wanted to blame someone for Big Bang finally ending.

Heading straight into bargaining, she told the camera: ‘I am so lucky to be in this situation, I love my job and I guess my job loves me.

‘It’s amazing, so maybe we could’ve kept it going. Maybe there’ll be a spin-off, maybe this maybe that, maybe the fans will revolt and we won’t have to end.’

However, hitting into depression, she shared her sadness at saying goodbye to the show after it hit so many landmarks.

‘It’s time, you know? We had a long run, we had an amazing run,’ she added. ‘All things must end, even the good things must end. It’s a shift. We’re all shifting.

‘I have two sons, they are 10 and 13 and a lot of my life is being OK with what comes next in their lives.’

Returning to what she’s preparing herself for in final countdown to the end of the series, she said: ‘I don’t know what these scripts hold, and I don’t really want to know.

‘I just want to show up every day and see what our wonderful writers have in store for us.’

‘I will act as if it’s my first time playing this character. I will recite my lines as if I have forever to play this character,’ she added.

‘I will indeed, dance like no one is watching, even though millions of people will tune into see what these last episodes will hold.’

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS in the US and at a later date on E4 in the UK.

Miley Cyrus says Hannah Montana’s downfall was ‘a lot of drugs’ as she judges Drag Race season 11 premiere

Miley Cyrus shot to fame as part-time high schooler, part-time superstar Hannah Montana in 2006, going on to become one of the Disney Channel’s biggest stars.

But fast forward to the ’10s, and Miley was twerking all over the shop and straddling cards while wearing weed-print leotards.

And that was all down to drugs, according to Miles.

The 26-year-old joked about the downfall of Hannah Montana while acting as guest judge on the season 11 premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race, which aired on VH1 on Thursday night.

Poor Hannah (Picture: DISNEY CHANNEL/BYRON COHEN)

The bottom two queens, Soju and Kahanna Montrese, were tasked with lip syncing for their lives to the undeniable bop The Best Of Both Worlds by Hannah Montana – with Ru asking: ‘Hey, whatever happened to her?’

Miley quipped: ‘A lot of drugs’, leaving Ru, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews in stitches.

RuPaul laughed: ‘That won’t make the edit’ – but surprise surprise, it stayed put in the premiere.

Earlier in the show, newlywed Miley dragged up to enter the workroom undercover as a male crew member – wearing a short wig, facial hair, a cap and glasses to disguise herself.

Miley Cyrus in drag
Miley tried to trick the queens by going undercover (Picture: Twitter)

However, once she got closer to the queens, her disguise was rumbled – and Miley decided instead to give the queens some sage advice on their nerves.

The Wrecking Ball singer said: ‘When I’m nervous, I know it sounds cheesy but seriously, breathe. If you’re not breathing you get into this panic state and you’re not yourself.

‘My godmother’s Dolly Parton and something that I’ve learned from Dolly and the reason people love her so much is because she’s always herself. What you want to be is beautiful, and I know this, but for me, a fan at home, I fall in love with the personality. You wouldn’t be here if you weren’t confident. You’re not too scared to try so that already makes you badass and a winner.’

Preach.

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 continues Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT on VH1, with episodes dropping the next day on Netflix.

From meh to yaaaas, all the Drag Race season 11 queens ranked after season premiere

We’re back, bitches (Picture: VH1)

It’s only been two weeks since RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 ended with a draw and some questionable editing, but the main stage is back, henny.

Season 11 has kicked off with a bang and a Vanjie, and while the issue of Drag Race fatigue is real, there’s no denying that the standard is getting higher every series. Forget showing up in your trusty bodysuit with a case load of highlighter – the teeniest things can get you the chop in season 11.

So, after the season premiere, we have ranked the queens in order of meh to slay, based on their entrances and first runways – and we’re gonna be as cutthroat as Michelle Visage, because this is not RuPaul’s Best Friend Race.

15. Kahanna Montrese

Kahanna Montrese Drag Race
Kahanna Montrese (Picture: VH1)

Miss Kahanna is the drag daughter of Coco Montrese, but as Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, from the house of Mateo, proved last season, that isn’t enough to get you past the first episode.

The first thing I thought when Kahanna strutted into the workroom in a rhinestone bra and stoned tights was – oh, they’re bringing back Chi Chi Devayne this season? Kahanna seems to have a great personality, don’t get me wrong, but underwear and a bustle just doesn’t cut it anymore, unless you’re serving Naomi Smalls levels of underwear ad.

I could have brushed this off, but then came that main stage look. Katya has a wealth of material to choose from in her suitcase, so I refuse to believe that a bra, an asymmetrical leotard and half-stoned tights was the best Kahanna could rustle up. Also, without padding, the way the bra was sliding up was so off-putting. Drag can definitely be done without boobs – see Violet Chachki, Naomi Smalls – but it has to be more polished. Soz, Kahanna.

I can barely remember anything about Mercedes in the season premiere, aside from that earsplitting bird call. More of that, less of the seventies themed bodysuit we’ve seen a hundred times before. I’m placing the forgettable-ness of Mercedes on the editing and the amount of queens in the workroom rather than her personality – but if she walks the runway in another leotard next week, I will not be so kind.

13. Shuga Cain

Shuga Cain Drag Race
Shuga Cain (Picture: VH1)

Controversially, wasn’t a big fan of Shuga Cain’s runway – out of a box of Sharon Needles’ clothes, I expected more than an 80s ra-ra skirt silhouette – and her entrance look didn’t surprise me much either.

A point for the 24/40 age mix-up, but Shuga will need to step it up to stand out.

12. Ra’jah D O’Hara

Ra'jah D O'Hara Drag Race
Ra’Jah D O’Hara (Picture: VH1)

There are Davenports coming out the wazoo this series, with the D in Ra’jah’s name standing for Davenport. I really liked the look of Miss Ra’jah as she entered the workroom, but then those earrings fell off every time she moved an inch or touched a queen. As Shuga Cain said, you’re on national television, you better staple them to your ears.

However, she did come out on the runway looking like a Pride parade threw up on her, and I am incredibly here for that amount of rainbow glitter.

11. Soju

Soju Drag Race
Soju (Picture: VH1)

I may be biased, as a) I absolutely love soju, it is delicious and b) I am totally into the Korean aesthetic, but I didn’t think Soju did all that bad this week. Sure her Hanbok was a bit of a tulle explosion, but that is the actual shape of the dress she was going for, and at least it was a concept. Unfortunately, it really hindered her in the lip sync to The Best Of Both Worlds, which you really need to be wearing a rhinestoned catsuit for.

But any queen who refers to herself as a K-pop drag princess, only to talk to RuPaul about her weeping cyst on the main stage surely deserves better.

10. Scarlet Envy

Scarlet Envy Drag Race
Scarlet Envy (Picture: VH1)

Full disclosure – I really fancy Scarlet out of drag. She basically looks like a member of Tame Impala and is definitely a man who I would pursue in any bar, only to realise he’s a terrible person.

Scarlet’s entrance look was arty and sexy, although the tights were a bit of a wash-out, and her runway look was perfectly well executed – but was a bit too Violet Chachki to really show us who Scarlet is. I remain hopeful.

9. A’Keria Davenport

A'Keria C Davenport Drag Race
A’Keria C Davenport (Picture: VH1)

A’Keria is obviously a threat with her pageant background, but I was left slightly underwhelmed by her entrance look – although spelling out her surname to end on ‘and you know I’m the motherfucking tea’ was a win.

But then, she came out on the main stage looking like Mad Max set in a wig factory and indeed snatched all the wigs. And formed them into a mohawk. Respect.

8. Nina West

Nina West Drag Race
Nina West (Picture: VH1)

OK, let’s call a spade a spade – Nina’s runway look was a bit of a train wreck. It baffles me every season that there’s still girls who come in not really being able to sew – get that skill in the bag before casting!

But the thing is, we need queens like Nina in the competition. We need the comedy queens that host your local gay night, the ones that have worn the exact same wig, silhouette and make-up for a decade because it works for them, the ones who are born entertainers, even if their image wasn’t curated for Instagram.

I’m hoping that these queens aren’t entirely pushed out in Drag Race UK, and I hope that Nina gets her time to shine on Drag Race – especially considering how many times she’s auditioned.

7. Ariel Versace

Ariel Versace Drag Race
Ariel Versace (Picture: VH1)

I’m always a bit wary of the self-proclaimed Instagram queens – see Aja’s first go at Drag Race glory. But was ‘this is what dreams are made of’ a Lizzie McGuire reference from Miss Ariel, as she walked in a huge wintery dress, reminiscent of the igloo gown Lizzie/Isabella Parigi tried on while Ru’s Supermodel played in the background? I stan.

Ariel could be one to watch – her make-up will always be on point, but her Poison Ivy cosplay take on Laganja Estranga’s marijuana-themed wardrobe showed real skill.

6. Yvie Oddly

Yvie Oddly Drag Race
Yvie Oddly (Picture: VH1)

I bloody love a weirdo on Drag Race. Alaska. Katya. Milk, until she returned on All Stars and shot herself in the foot. So Yvie is instantly high on the rankings for me.

Anybody who attaches a Hot Wheel car to her dress, carries in a remote control and proclaims she’s here to ‘shock and suck cock’ is surely worth supporting. Also, while her runway look wasn’t as polished as the rest, at least it had a concept. And with making a coat out of saran wrap, Yvie will most definitely slay when it comes to whatever challenge Ru gives the queens that involves dumpster diving or making entire gowns out of sweet wrappers.

5. Plastique Tiara

Plastique Tiara Drag Race
Plastique Tiara (Picture: VH1)

Fine, we didn’t hear that much from Plastique in episode one. But have you ever seen a prettier queen? Crown her Miss Universe, book her for a Chanel ad, at least give her a bouquet and a sceptre to rule over us lesser beings.

Also out of drag, she looks like a Vietnamese pop star whose poster I would most definitely have on my wall. Come through, 21-year-old skin.

4. Honey Davenport

Honey Davenport Drag Race
Honey Davenport (Picture: VH1)

Honey Davenport strutted into the workroom looking like she’d escaped from Trinity, Monet and Monique’s Beehive Club and straight into my heart. This New York queen is definitely one to watch – she is an actress, a musician and an artist, and managed to make Ben De La Creme’s decidedly different aesthetic her own on the runway.

This girl is coming for the crown, and from past seasons, we know that nobody should sleep on a New York queen.

3. Brooke Lynn Hytes

Brooke Lynn Hytes Drag Race
Brooke Lynn Hytes (Picture: VH1)

I got serious Katya vibes when Brooke Lynn came into the workroom looking like a mountie off to Pride, and that’s no bad thing. But on the main stage, that perfectly form fitting metallic leotard with superhero meets disco dancer vibes elevated her to new Hytes (sorry).

She thoroughly deserved the win and I can’t wait to see her pirouetting around these bitches.

2. Vanessa Vanjie Mateo

Vanessa Vanjie Mateo Drag Race
Vanessa Vanjie Mateo (Picture: VH1)

Vanjie… Vaaaanjie… Miss… Vaaaaaanjie. She’s back in the house, heels click clacking around, and god I missed her. That one episode of Vanessa we got last season was gold, and her soundbites this time around are just as good. My favourite? ‘I was humililated… humililated… I was embarrassed.’

But it’s not just her personality that could win Ru over this season. That cinched waist, señorita who’s taken a bath in body glitter realness she served on the runway shows that Vanjie has come a long way.

1. Silky Nutmeg Ganache

Silky Nutmeg Ganache Drag Race
Silky Nutmeg Ganache (Picture: VH1)

Yes, Silky is annoying as all hell. The queens will grow to hate her. But reader, I am not a queen in the workroom, therefore I do not care.

Ever since she came into the workroom looking like Lizzo and removed a cookie from her bra, I fell in love. Silky knows she’s the biggest personality in the room, and is using that to her advantage. She is confident enough to believe she owns the moment rather than Miley Cyrus, picking up a Grammy-nominated singer and hauling her around the room. And she doesn’t need to concentrate on her look, because she knows she can drape herself in sequins, throw a few peppermints at the judges and sail through.

It’s refreshing for a queen to say exactly why they’re there – Silky wants her own spin-off show, maybe a cooking show as well, and isn’t going to let anybody get in the way of that. We all know that’s why the other queens are there too – they want their headline tour, they want their spin-off, they want their single available on iTunes. Silky is the only one who DGAF enough to say it. These queens are going to have to fight for their airtime while Silky is around, and I am here for it.

RuPaul’s Drag Race continues at 9pm ET/PT on Thursdays on VH1, and drops on Netflix the following morning.

The Walking Dead bosses confirm another spin-off in the works (Picture: AMC)

AMC have confirmed that The Walking Dead is getting a brand new spin-off and execs are already in the process of drawing up storyboards.

CEO Ed Carroll revealed that as well as the three feature-length films centred around Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes and current prequel Fear The Walking Dead, progress has already been made on the third full series

‘We’re not at a stage where we’ll be announcing its plans to premiere,’ he told Deadline. ‘But we have hired creative people that have pitched story outlines.

‘We feel very good about the development of that series.’

The spin-off will be on top of Fear The Walking Dead (Picture: AMC)

Ed added to the publication: ‘We’re not in a position to talk about partnerships in terms of other territories or ancillary windows, other than that there’s a healthy appetite for it and we’ve had a number of conversations with a lot of players in the space.’

This news comes after it was unearthed last week that The Walking Dead’s season nine episode Omega suffered the worst ratings in the show’s history.

Despite the dip in viewing figures, the AMC post-apocalyptic drama remains one of the most popular series on the Network and looks set to continue beyond season 10.

Showrunner Angela Kang teased to Insider: ‘I’m approaching it as I’ve got to make a great 10th season. I can’t assume anything. It’s a thing that writers certainly talk about a lot.’

The Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC in the US and Mondays on Fox UK, and is available to watch on NOW TV.

Mamma Mia will be spoofed again by Jennifer Saunders for Comic Relief

Jennifer Saunders will be back on Comic Relief (Picture: BBC)

Jennifer Saunders has revealed she will spoof the Mamma Mia! sequel, Here We Go Again, for Comic Relief.

The 60-year-old actress and comedian parodied the first ABBA musical film with comedy partner Dawn French for the BBC charity drive 10 years ago, and has now decided to make the follow up following the release of the movie’s sequel last year.

Titled Mamma Mia! Here We Go Yet Again!, the sketch will see Jennifer play Donna, the character played by Meryl Streep in the movies, and she has pulled together a whole host of famous faces to take on the one-off special, which is set to air on BBC One on 15 March.

Alan Carr will reprise his role of Colin Firth’s Harry, and Philip Glenister as Pierce Brosnan’s Sam, and the spoof will see the cast recreate some of the most iconic moments from the film – and even try to tackle some tracks from Swedish band ABBA, whose songs form the base of the musical.

‘If I could have lived on the fake Mamma Mia set for the past year, I would have been very happy. This is one of the silliest things I’ve done. But, my God, I enjoy it,’ she told The Sun.

Miranda Hart and Sue Perkins will be returning as the producer and director but sadly Dawn won’t be returning the sequel, due to her busy work schedule.

No other names have been attached to the parody sequel, and it’s unknown how long the sketch will be.

The Comic Relief charity drive takes place on 15 March, where money is raised for the Comic Relief charity, which supports vulnerable people in the UK and internationally.

Karyn Parsons has seemingly confirmed there will never be a Fresh Prince Of Bel Air reunion after the death of James Avery.

Speaking on Lorraine on Friday, Karyn spoke about the surprise of the success of the show years after it aired bu that despite years of rumours of a reunion on air, it won’t happen.

‘For us, the loss of James Avery changed the whole picture,’ she said.

‘I don’t think it would have happened anyway but with James gone, it is not possible.’

James played Uncle Phil, the patriarch of the family in the hit comedy starring Will Smith, but he sadly passed in 2014 at the age of 65 following complication resulting from his open heart surgery.

The cast had become a family during their time together in the early 1990s and they regularly still spend time together.

‘Fortunately, we were very much a family and it still feels like one,’ said Karyn, ‘it’s like picking up when we left off when we see each other.’

Her comments about a reunion reflect those previously made by Alfonso Ribiero, who played Carlton, when he said ‘it’s impossible with James Avery being gone’.

‘Do we really want to see Will and Carlton in their 40s and 50s?’ the 47-year-old added.

‘I think people think they want to see that, but I don’t think people really want to see that.’

Ribeiro had been the one to confirm his death, writing on Twitter: ‘The world has lost a truly special man. I am very saddened to say that James Avery has passed.

‘Even though he played my father on TV, he was a wonderful father figure to me in life. He will be deeply missed.’

Stacey Dooley’s ‘obsessed’ Comic Relief photo comment was ‘disturbing’, argues Trisha Goddard

Stacey Dooley has come under fire on social media for her recent trip to Uganda with Comic Relief, with fans claiming she was ‘perpetuating the white saviour stereotype’ after she shared a photo of herself with a disadvantaged young boy on her Instagram page.

The 31-year-old TV star captioned the picture ‘OB.SESSSSSSSSSSED’, with many taking offence to her words – accusing her of using the child as an ‘accessory’ for her social media profile, with David Lammy calling her out on social media.

Trisha Goddard and Ed Adoo have now waded into the row with a heated debate on Good Morning Britain.

The TV presenter explained that, while it was unfair to focus the whole thing just on the Strictly Come Dancing winner, she was ‘disturbed’ at her wording of her Instagram posts.

‘It’s quite a complex issue. It’s not just about Stacey, I don’t think it’s fair to just focus on Stacey,’ she began. ‘I went on her Instagram and had a look at the picture and what jumped out at me is underneath it, it said “obsessed”. I found that disturbing.

‘I’m not saying she should know any different or anything else, she’s been spearheading some great things.

‘If you’re employing someone you have to take into account what they’re saying on social media and the pictures they’re giving out.

‘We haven’t seen the video Stacey has done, it may be that she’s fleetingly in it, and it is as Liz [Warner, Comic Relief CEO] said, it’s more local heroines talking about the amazing work they’ve done in the area.

OB.SESSSSSSSSSSED 💔

A post shared by Stacey Dooley (@sjdooley) on

‘I do think that one photo, with “obsessed”… that’s what the Kardashians say about a pair of shoes.’

However, Ed was left unimpressed, claiming her argument was ‘pointless’.

‘Stacey champions the underdog via what she does as a broadcaster in her documentaries, she’s from Luton. In terms of diversity, she’s done great things…,’ the broadcaster said.

‘It’s creating charitable racism by saying, for example, “if it’s for an Eastern European charity, we’ll get Eastern Europeans to do it… African charity, we’ll get Africans.” It’s about people doing something for each other, and not citing that she has ‘obsessed’ or whatever on her Instagram. It’s pointless.’

Things got heated when he continued: ‘She has a voice like all of us, that’s what she was doing. That [argument] was pointless.’

Trisha cut in, explaining her point ‘wasn’t with Stacey’, to which he fumed: ‘So what is your point then, Trisha? What is your point?’

Ed branded Trisha's argument 'pointless' (Picture: ITV)

‘Well if you let me speak, I can make it…,’ she hit back. ‘I’m not saying it about Stacey, I’m saying she was obviously employed to do that film. Part of it is her pull on social media. Liz, the CEO, is a producer, she’s done some fantastic films. If it was me, I would be saying: “Stacey, we can do much better photos, we can put better copy underneath it for all our causes.’

When Kate Garraway asked Trisha about Ed’s charitable racism claims, he cut across, stating: ‘It’s about people helping each other, and not putting people in boxes, and for example if you’re helping a Ghanaian charity, only Ghanaian people can help.’

‘Excuse me, Kate were you asking me something? Thank you,’ Trisha replied. ‘If I’m raising money for mental health, do I have a photo with someone in a straight-jacket saying “Slay?” If I did do that and I was just mucking about and being silly, then whatever….

‘If I’m being employed by a mental health charity, if I’m the front of something, someone has to sit down and say this is how we’re approaching it. I don’t think she meant it evilly, she’s done some fantastic work.

‘We’ve only seen this one picture, I’m hoping once we see the documentary, it has a very different flavour.’

Here filming with Comic Relief. ❤️

A post shared by Stacey Dooley (@sjdooley) on

The debate first kicked off earlier this week, when Stacey shared glimpses of her trip to Africa on social media, while she worked alongside Comic Relief to raise awareness.

Labour MP David Lammy later voiced his outrage, tweeting: ‘The world does not need any more white saviours.

‘As I’ve said before, this just perpetuates tired and unhelpful stereotypes. Let’s instead promote voices from across the continent of Africa and have serious debate.’

To which Stacey replied: ‘David, is the issue with me being white? (Genuine question) …because if that’s the case, you could always go over there and try raise awareness?

‘Comic relief have raised over 1 billion pounds since they started. I saw projects that were saving lives with the money. Kids lives (sic).’

The charity has since defended the journalist, in a statement released to Metro.co.uk.

‘We are really grateful that Stacey Dooley, an award winning and internationally acclaimed documentary maker, agreed to go to Uganda to discover more about projects the British people have funded there and make no apologies for this,’ it read.

‘She has filmed and reported on challenging issues all over the world, helping to put a much-needed spotlight on issues that affect people’s lives daily. In her film, people working with or supported by Comic Relief projects tell their own stories in their own words.’

Good Morning Britain continues on weekdays, at 6am, on ITV.

Star Trek: Discovery’s Ethan Peck explains Spock revelation will be ‘affirming for a lot of marginalised people’

*Warning, contains spoilers.

Spock finally made his grand debut in the most recent episode Star Trek: Discovery, where it was revealed that the Starfleet officer is dyslexic.

The character, played by Ethan Peck, has a Vulcan form of neurodiversity and was seen struggling with numbers in the installment titled Light and Shadows.

However, with assistance from Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), who managed to make sense of the figures, the pair discover he had coordinates for Talos IV and they prepare to head to there.

CBS

Speaking about Spock’s dyslexia, Ethan explained: ‘I think it will be very affirming for a lot of marginalized people in that way, because I think it’s really healthy for those that might not be typical, you know, to have a role model out there who’s dealing with it themselves.

‘I think it can be really comforting and help one identify with themselves.’

The actor added to Comic Book that he had a lot of anxiety taking on the role of Spock, admitting: ‘You can’t just go all fully emotional because he’s still half Vulcan and it’s going to come out in a way that’s still alien.

‘And so figuring out that balance really took a lot of focus and we dealt with it with great care and while we were filming I was like, “Is this working? Is it believable? Does it feel like Spock?”‘

Star Trek: Discovery airs on CBS in the US and on Netflix in the UK.

After Game of Thrones released 20 new posters of all the heroes and villains still standing – a mighty feat in itself – fans have decided to flip the series on its head and plonk Kanye West on the Iron Throne instead.

And we’re sure Yeezy would be delighted after photos of Kimye’s house recently showered an eerily empty mansion, deprived of any furniture at all.

While HBO’s latest teasers have every possible candidate taking what could well be their seat on the coveted chair, fans have created mock ups of who they’d like to see claim the Iron Throne, with Mad Men’s Don Draper and Breaking Bad’s Walter White among our personal favourites.

Amen for Photoshop.

Today marks the first time we can officially declare that Game of Thrones is coming next month.

However, we still know next to nothing about what’s in store, other than Deanerys Taragryen (played by Emilia Clarke) and Sansa Stark’s (Sophie Turner) first meeting gets off to a rocky start, while Arya (Maisie Williams) cannot get enough of her potential sister-in-law’s pet dragons.

And we just found out that at least one, actually the biggest, Game of Thrones star won’t be making an appearance as George RR Martin revealed that he actually turned down the chance to appear in his own fantasy epic.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the mysterious author wrote: ‘David and Dan invited me to a cameo in one of the final episodes, which I was tempted to do.

‘But I didn’t think just for the sake of a cameo I could take the time to return to Belfast.’

Or is he throwing us off the scent?

Game of Thrones returns to Sky Atlantic and HBO on April 14.

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that the latest episode of The Grand Tour includes him ‘taking a dump,’ because there’s nothing more exhilarating than poops and cars.

The season three installment is an RV special and Richard Hammond has already been filmed crashing into another vehicle, so it looks like the gang really have gone all out.

Teasing the glorious scenes, Jeremy alerted his 7.12million Twitter followers, writing: ‘This week’s @thegrandtour special is a good laugh.

‘I take a dump, James makes some toast and Hammond has some accidents.’

Loooooovely.

The synopsis for the episode teases: ‘Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are told to take an RV holiday across the south western United States but rapidly stage a mutiny before re-grouping in used RVs they have modified themselves, with mixed results.’

But if you think The Grand Tour gang have only been causing havoc on the roads, you’re sorely mistaken.

Last week, Richard proved he can’t be trusted in the kitchen after attempting to cook Jezza a birthday dinner, which included spag bol, a deep fat fryer and crisps.

The Grand Tour is available to watch on Amazon Prime.

Uganda High Commissioner made ‘uncomfortable’ by Stacey Dooley’s controversial Comic Relief photo

This Morning has once again weighed in on Stacey Dooley’s ‘white saviour’ backlash, this time around by bringing the Uganda High Commissioner into comment.

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes were joined by Julius Peter Moto in the studio, who said he felt ‘uncomfortable’ by the the Strictly Come Dancing winner’s photo with a young black child during Friday’s episode.

‘Stacey did a great job,’ Julius began. ‘Comic Relief is also really doing a good job in Uganda, but we are not comfortable with pictures of children in the social media. It’s a young child.

‘There’s nothing wrong with what Comic Relief is doing, but we felt a bit uncomfortable of pictures of young children.

‘We want to protect the interest of Ugandan children.’

Julius added: ‘Uganda needs UK aid in terms of for the provision of education, support to health sector, good governance, and supporting the refugees in northern Uganda.’

Stacey’s backlash has been heavily discussed on This Morning, with Phillip Schofield claiming it’s ‘racist’ to call her a ‘white saviour.’

The debate kicked off earlier in the week when Stacey, 31, posted a picture with a disadvantaged young boy saying she was ‘obsessed,’ leading to a Twitter clash with MP David Lammy, who said: ‘The world does not need any more white saviours.

‘As I’ve said before, this just perpetuates tired and unhelpful stereotypes. Let’s instead promote voices from across the continent of Africa and have serious debate.’
