Mel B’s daughter Phoenix has opened up about her mum’s abuse claims and revealed she used to blame herself.

The Spice Girl appeared on Lorraine where she talked about her Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, following her split from Stephen Belafonte.

And while she was chatting to the host, the 43-year-old was surprised with a heartbreaking statement from her 20-year-old daughter.

Speaking in a pre-recorded clip, Phoenix opened up about the allegations, and how she tried to support her mum through the hard times.

She said: ‘It was pretty hard watching my mum got through that and being in that situation with everything that went down in my family.

‘You know we grow up pretty fast.’

The proud daughter added: ‘Every kid going through a traumatic experience would blame themselves because they feel somewhat responsible, because that’s your mum, that’s your family and you only get one.

‘So when you’re trying to do everything in your power to help them, and you can’t, and you’re helpless you’re like, “damn, this is partly my fault.”

‘But it’s never the kid’s fault.’

Phoenix added: ‘It wasn’t easy but I had my family and I have stayed pretty strong. Having my mum as Scary Spice, Mel B you can’t be a wimp.

‘My mum is such an independent woman, it shocks me she can just be amazing on TV and be so nervous but you wouldn’t even think – she’s a natural.’

She concluded: ‘She’s a good mum and a good friend, and I love you and you’re doing great.’

Mel was touched by her daughter’s words, and explained how they both have a good relationship.

‘Phoenix did see a lot,’ she claimed before adding: ‘When you’re in that kind of relationship it affects everyone around you.’

‘I think it’s important we shed light on things like this. It is an epidemic and it’s not getting any better.’

The Wannabe hitmaker affirmed: ‘It is in baby steps, but the more we talk about it, the more we can crack down on it.’

Piers Morgan had a go at the BBC after Good Morning Britain lost out at the Bafta TV awards.

The ITV programme walked away empty handed at the ceremony on Sunday night, where they were nominated in the news coverage category. The award was handed to the ITN/Channel 4 Cambridge Analytica Uncovered Production Team.

Meanwhile Good Morning Britain had been given nods for their coverage On A Knife Edge? and their exclusive interview with Thomas Markle, the father of the Duchess of Sussex.

However their nomination wasn’t shown on TV when it went out to audiences around the nation.

Launching into one of his famed full-scale rants on GMB on Monday, Piers fumed: ‘We lost again. We were nominated for half the categories and we managed to lose not once but twice.

‘That never aired on the BBC. If you hadn’t watched the BBC you wouldn’t have known Good Morning Britain got nominated at all.

‘We never got mentioned during the two-hour, incredibly boring show.

‘If you sat through that and are still alive good luck to you. How they get through it, those luvvies, I have no idea.’

He went on: ‘It’s a travesty. We were up for half the awards. Good Morning Britain was the first ever breakfast show to be nominated for that coveted award but it didn’t make the main show.

‘But it didn’t make the main show. Churlish, pathetic and spineless by the BBC. I’m on to you.

‘Shame on the BBC. You’ve got to explain yourselves. Just because the rival BBC breakfast show wasn’t nominated. We got half of the news coverage nominations.

‘They just airbrushed it out of the whole thing. Like it didn’t happen.’

Piers was already sore about where Bafta had seated him on the night, and demanded on Twitter to be nearer to the front.

Bafta replied: ‘You’ll sit where you’re told Piers!’

He shot back: ‘You clearly haven’t worked with me before.’

If you want to find out who did win on the night, check out all the winners right here.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.

The Society showrunner reveals clues to look out for as season 1 drops on Netflix

Netflix's The Society character Allie
There’s more than meets the eyes in The Society (Picture: Netflix)

The Society has officially dropped on Netflix and it turns out there’s a whole bunch of things we need to be casting a keen eye over as we binge away.

The 10-episode series, starring Kathryn Newton, Gideon Adlon and Sean Berdy, follows a group of teenagers who are mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy New England town, left without any trace of their parents.

As you get ready to sit down and watch the mysterious show, showrunner Chris Keyser exclusively tells Metro.co.uk what to look out for.

‘There are lots of little clues sprinkled all the way through but often they are psychological clues,’ Chris began.

‘I think what people need to pay attention to even more is these questions of what decisions do people make that will come back to affect who they are later.

‘For example, Ali makes a lot of decisions, some good and some bad, none of them escape effecting her future.

‘That’s the same for everybody. So for example, Harry takes a pill in episode three and that has an impact all the way through.’

He continued: ‘One of the rules we laid out is that nothing happens without consequence. Events made me random, but even random events will have an impact on what will happen next.

‘Also, never presume that you understand exactly where you are in the history.’

Netflix's The Society sisters Allie and Casandra
Every character’s actions have consequences (Picture: Netflix)

Chris also explained that the dog, who makes a brief appearance when Casandra is killed off and again in the season finale, also has significance.

‘We think of it as a Trojan dog or a Schrödinger’s cat,’ he said.

‘It’s a thought experiment about quantum theory and how things with probabilities of different states contrary things can happen at the same time.

‘So in a sense, if the worlds are split, is it possible that the dog is alive in one and dead in the other?

‘Is it possible that something has doubled and is two opposite things at the same time?’

The Society is available to stream on Netflix.

Game Of Thrones’ Cersei Lannister spoke about her season 8 fate for years

Cersei Lannister’s future was decided at the end of the latest episode (Picture: HBO)

***Warning: Game Of Thrones, season 8 episode 5 spoilers are on their way***

Game Of Thrones is only one episode away and some of the shows most beloved characters are dropping like flies…but Cersei Lannister’s fate has left viewers feeling all kinds of feelings.

In fact, the long-held prophecy of her destiny turned out to be missing a large chunk.

This is your last chance to look away if you don’t want to know what happens to her. Seriously.

So…as the battle of King’s Landing saw Daenerys rain literal hellfire upon the city (killing hundreds of innocents in the process), some of the key main characters finally met their maker.

Most notably, Jaime Lannister reached his twin sister/incestuous lover in time for them to die together as the Red Keep collapsed around them.

Cersei and Jaime Lannister
Jaime and Cersei died together (Picture: HBO)

Now, many people may have feelings about this (both good, bad and ‘why did you play Brienne like that, Jaime?’ in nature), especially considering a prophecy held the long-time fan theory that Jaime, in his final act of redemption, would kill his wicked queen sister.

The prophecy, as told by Maggy the Frog in season five, told Cersei through a series of questions her future – most of which came true.

This included: ‘Never wedding a prince, but a king’ (her marriage to Robert Baratheon); that he would have 16 children, but she would only have three (Robert gave birth to a number of children out of wedlock, including Gendry); and her three children would all die before her (Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen have all been killed in the series run).

However, the book and the show then split, with the series choosing to miss out the final line: ‘the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.’

Valonqar (or ‘little brother’ in Valyrian) could’ve meant Jaime or Tyrion, with a long held theory believing she would go to her final moments believing it was Tyrion, only to be wrong.

Jaime and Cersei Lannister embrace in Game Of Thrones season one
Cersei and Jaime were unable to quit each other (Picture: HBO)

But that belief was firmly squashed last night when the pair, in each other’s arms, were buried under rubble together.

So as it turns out, it’s been their fate all along (at least, in the show).

Having literally almost killed a child after he caught them having sex in the first ever episode, it was clear that Cersei and Jaime’s relationship was going to be anything but a conventional one.

But in the books, Jaime thought in his head: ‘I cannot die while Cersei lives. We will die together as were born together,’ during a Storm of Swords.

A similar feeling was reciprocated by Cersei, who told her uncle Kevan in the series: ‘We came into this world together, Uncle. He would not go without me.’

Even for those unfamiliar with the books, it should’ve come as no surprise that the twins’ unbreakable bond was the forefront of their minds, with Cersei saying as such during an interaction with Ned Stark in season one.

‘Jaime and I are more than brother and sister; we shared a womb, came into this world together — we belong together,’ she declared.

Game Of Thrones continues Sundays on HBO and Sky Atlantic.

The Big Bang Theory final season: Penny and Leonard try to keep a secret as first look at finale is revealed

The Big Bang Theory has released the first look at the finale of season 12 as the sitcom prepares to bow out for good.

The last two episodes – The Change Constant and The Stockholm Syndrome – reveal that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) are hiding something huge from their friends.

Meanwhile Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) are crossing everything that their bid for the Nobel Prize works out the way they want, as Raj (Kunal Nayyar) meets someone new.

Thankfully the new promo images don’t give anything away about how Big Bang will bow out for good, but Penny and Leonard look happy as Larry together while Amy is seen fretting over a phone with Raj.

And with Howard (Simon Helberg), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) Penny sitting around the apartment all smiles, we’ve realised we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to the sitcom yet.

In The Change Constant, the tagline teases: ‘Sheldon and Amy await big news’, while in The Stockholm Syndrome, the plot teaser reads: ‘Bernadette and Wolowitz leave their kids for the first time; Penny and Leonard try to keep a secret; Sheldon and Amy stick together; and Koothrappali makes a new friend, as the gang travels together into an uncharted future.’

It hasn’t been revealed whether Raj’s connection is a romantic one but given he has only just recently split from Anu (Rati Gupta), much to everyone’s frustration, could he move on that quickly?

It’s certainly possible, as showrunner Steve Holland previously told TV Line: ‘The Anu-Raj relationship was a fun part of the season and, as close as it was, she wasn’t quite the perfect one for him — and we want Raj to end up with the perfect woman.’

Fans tuning in on Thursday are going to have a jam-packed night full of all things Big Bang, as Cuoco previously explained on Instagram.

Noticing fans were getting confused about how many episodes were left, the star gave a helpful rundown of what to expect.

‘It’s back to back episodes. It’s technically two episodes, it’s a “to be continued”, so it’s two back to back episodes, an hour-long finale. That’s what they mean.

‘Reminder, I think ET is doing a big special on the show right before and then you have the hour Big Bang and then Johnny and I host a special I believe after Young Sheldon.

‘Young Sheldon also has, I think, a beautiful homage to The Big Bang Theory cast, which I’m really excited to see.’

Us too!

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursday 16 May in the US and at a later date on E4 in the UK.

The Jeremy Kyle Show have insisted they take every precaution necessary to ensure the safety of their guests after someone set to appear on the programme died shortly after filming.

Today’s instalment of the talk show was pulled last minute and replaced by Dickinson’s Real Deal, before ITV confirmed an investigation was being launched and filming for the Jeremy Kyle Show had been immediately suspended.

‘The Jeremy Kyle Show has significant and detailed duty of care processes in place for contributors pre, during and post show which have been built up over 14 years,’ an ITV spokesperson told Metro.co.uk.

After fans were confused by the sudden switch up in ITV’s daytime scheduling, the channel confirmed the news in a statement this morning.

‘Everyone at ITV and The Jeremy Kyle Show is shocked and saddened at the news of the death of a participant in the show a week after the recording of the episode they featured in and our thoughts are with their family and friends,’ they began.

‘ITV will not screen the episode in which they featured.

‘Given the seriousness of this event, ITV has also decided to suspend both filming and broadcasting of The Jeremy Kyle Show with immediate effect in order to give it time to conduct a review of this episode of the show.’

Why Jane The Virgin’s endgame should be with Rafael, according to a psychologist

Jane and Rafael on Jane The Virgin
Are Jane and Rafael the right endgame to play? (Picture: CBS)

Jane The Virgin’s love triangle between Jane, Michael and Rafael has been complicated to say the least, just like any telenovela would be.

From Jane accidentally getting inseminated with Rafael’s sperm while she was engaged to Michael all the way back in season one, things came full circle once more when husband Michael came back from the dead with his memory wiped on the day of Jane’s proposal to Rafael.

Told you it was complicated – and for Jane, it’s been nothing but confusion and heartbreak as she tried to deal with suddenly having a long-dead husband back in her life and her new family unit disrupted forever with Rafael.

At the end of the last episode, Jane made her decision, and after some soul-searching, chose Rafael.

Trying to make sense of it all, we consulted with a relationship psychologist, who reckons Jane has made the right call after all.

Zoe Coetzee, in-house relationship psychologist for EliteSingles, told Metro.co.uk: ‘In order not to undermine either love though, Jane needs to make a decision and stick to it, wholeheartedly. I think that the best choice for her would be Rafael.’

Jane and Rafael are surprised by Mateo on Jane The Virgin
Jane and Rafael’s family unit and growth together make them the right couple to back (Picture: The CW)

As to why, the psychologist explained: ‘Rafael and Jane are very different, but have learned so much from each other. They make a great team. Rafael has really supported her dream of being a writer, and he has been very patient and understanding with her through the various turns in their complex relationship.

‘He has demonstrated how much he has grown as an individual, from a rich playboy to a caring father and partner. He really does love her and although she feels confused, she has shown she does love him too.’

Rafael and Michael stand awkwardly together on Jane The Virgin
Jane’s choice between Rafael and Michael has been tough (Picture: The CW)

‘Rafael is a great dad and ending up with him would also be best for Mateo and their family unit,’ she added.

Unfortunately it seems that our heroine definitely could have done with Zoe’s advice just a little sooner – with Michael deciding to stay in Montana in his new life as Jason while Jane returned home.

However, the complicated Latina had her hopes dashed when Rafael rejected her – stating that by choosing Michael he no longer trusted her with his heart.

Is there a way for Jane to win Rafael back? Or has her indecision ultimately cost her both loves of her life?

Jane The Virgin continues Wednesdays on The CW and Netflix.

Who are the new cast members in Killing Eve season 2?

Actor Julian Garratt will play Julian on Killing Eve and is pictured in a compilation photo with Jodie Comer, who plays Villanelle

Killing Eve was on a roll during the Baftas on Sunday night, taking home three awards in total.Lead actress Jodie Comer celebrated her win in the leading actress category, while her co-star Fiona Shaw scored the gong for supporting actress.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the show’s creator, also had cause for celebration as Killing Eve was announced as the winner of the drama series category.

Anticipation is building for season 2 (which was released in the US on 7 April). Fans are eagerly waiting to find out what’s next for assassin Villanelle and former MI5 agent, Eve Polastri. And which new characters – and actors – will join them on screen.

Here’s what we know so far.

Who are the new cast members in Killing Eve season 2?

Spoilers ahead, so turn away now if you must.

Season one of Eve featured an impressive line-up of actors, and it’s anticipated that many will reprise their roles including leading ladies Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and Eve (Sandra Oh), along with the dodgy but intelligent Carolyn Martens (Fiona Shaw), who is the head of the Russia department for MI6.

Her son, Kenny Stowton (Sean Delaney) will also return, as will Eve’s trusted assistant Elena Felton (Kirby Howell-Baptiste).

Sadly, we said goodbye to Eve’s mentor Bill Pargrave (David Haig) and Konstantin (Kim Bodnia), both of whom were killed by Villanelle in season one.

But where one actor exits, another enters.

Season 2 will welcome Julian Barratt, who will play the role of, er, Julian.

He has enjoyed a varied career with both TV and movie roles, but is best known for his work on The Mighty Boosh alongside Noel Fielding. Julian also starred in the 2017 movie Mindhorn and appeared in a dozen episodes of Flowers.

Others include Nina Sosanya from Last Tango in Halifax and actor Edward Bluemel, who appeared in the Sky One series A Discovery of Witches.

When will season 2 air in the UK?

There is still no date for when season 2 will arrive in Britain.

Last time around, there was a six month wait between the US and the UK, but BBC’s director of content Charlotte Moore said that fans ‘will not have to wait so long next time’.

Fingers crossed.

If you’re in the UK and you managed to drag yourself out of bed at 2am to watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones, you’ll probably have spotted Aaron Rodgers among the soldier ranks.

**WARNING: Light spoilers to follow**

We’re almost to the end of Game of Thrones you guys, and NFL star Aaron Rodgers is right there with us – literally.

(If you want to know what went down, here’s a spoiler-filled piece for your enjoyment).

Last night’s episode, titled The Bells had Aaron Rodgers swap his American football matches for something a lot more bloody in HBO’s hit show.

Fans of the sportsman quickly spotted him as an archer for the Golden Company rallying behind Cersei Lannister before the battle at King’s landing.

The football player joined hundreds lined up to battle Daenerys Targaryen’s army, led by Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson).

You can guess what happened to his character. [Hint: Dragons].

Speaking about his role in a BTS, he said: ‘I was helping a woman, who was injured…I set her down… then the hell with her I’m getting out of there.’

Sounds about right.

Eagle-eyed fans were delighted to see him in the penultimate episode of the show, and tweeted about it.

‘Aaron Rodgers is my favorite athlete and cameo actor #GameOfThrones, [sic]’ one viewer wrote on Twitter.

Another praised his fine acting. ‘Aaron Rodgers did a great job in tonight’s episode #GameOfThrones.’

‘Can you believe aaron rodgers was an extra on GoT? Legend,’ one fan praised, whilst another was less enthused: ‘Soooo.  Where was Aaron Rodgers in all that? An extra? So we all made a big deal about him being in the episode for…

‘That’s what I thought. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.’

One viewer made a game out of finding Rodgers in the sea of soldiers. ‘This episode took me an extra 15 minutes to watch simply because I kept pausing and rewinding to find @AaronRodgers12. Fun game of Where’s Waldo.’

Though fans had been surprised to see him in the show, the 35-yer-old sportsman hadn’t exactly kept his upcoming appearance a secret.

Just before the episode, his team the Green Bay Packers, had teased fans by uploading a gif of Rodgers dressed up in GoT garb. They asked fans, ‘So what’s everyone watching tonight’ and the gif was captioned, ‘Game of Thrones…obviously.’

After episode, he warned fans about writing spoilers on Twitter: ‘24 hour rule still applies folks, for all those who thought there were better things to do tonight than watch.’ He also added a cheeky #episode5shouldbegood, further hinting about his appearance.

And he seemed to have let the cat out of the bag at the Kentucky Derby last week. When asked by a reporter whether he was up for making cameos in TV shows or films, he said: ‘Episode five Game of Thrones’ before walking away.

The show will be available on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK.

*Wanring: Game of Thrones episode five spoilers*

Game of Thrones fans are now just one week away from seeing the final ever episode of the show.

The penultimate episode was full of twists as Daenerys Targaryen and her army tried to end Cersei Lannister’s reign at King’s Landing.

The episode saw several key characters die during what looks to be the final battle in the show, and now that the dust has settled many are wondering what is left for the season finale.

Here is everything that you need to know ahead of episode six of Game of Thrones.

What to expect in Game Of Thrones season eight episode six

The new trailer for episode six doesn’t give much away, and instead just shows Daenerys Targaryen and her hand Tyrion Lannister walking among the ashes after she burnt King’s Landing to the ground.

Now that the fighting is over, Daenerys is likely to face new struggles when it comes to claiming the iron throne, particularly after her actions towards the end of the fifth episode.

The vague trailer makes it hard to know exactly what will happen in the final episode of the series, but she is likely to see some people revolt against her ruling.

An angry Arya Stark is seen walking among the ashes so she could be adding another name to her list, and it’s also possible that the previously loyal Tyrion and Jon Snow could turn against Dany in the most dramatic of ways.

How to watch Game of Thrones episode six

If you’re happy to stay up late for the final ever episode of Game of Thrones then you can watch it live at 2am on Monday 20 May on Sky Atlantic.

Fans who don’t want to stay up so late can catch it again at 9pm on Monday, or any time by using Sky Go or Sky Anytime.

You can also catch up with any previous episodes that you’ve missed from all eight seasons on NOW TV.

Bikini model claims she is ‘too good looking’ to find love but admits she ‘intimidates nice guys’

Model Jenna Thompson feels she has been unlucky in love because of her looks.

Jenna, a bikini model, says she is ‘too good looking’ and only attracts men ‘who are after one thing’.

The mum-of-two put her troubles down to dating apps as everything is at face value.

She said: ‘It’s impossible. It’s really shallow. People get a kick out of how many swipes they get which narrows down any nice people.

‘I think I intimidate guys. Nice guys. I attract guys who only want one thing or people who think they will just have a shot and don’t want someone that serious.’

Turning to her own dating life, the 36-year-old detailed some ‘serious disasters’ including a blind date who turned out to be a traffic warden she had argued with over a parking ticket he issued her with earlier in the day.

Jenna, from Essex, had also dated a man for a time who then confessed he was married.

‘He told me face to face,’ Jenna said. ‘It was cold and wet on the day and he slipped and fell over chasing after me as I walked away.

‘He was terrified his wife would find out because they call the next of kin. I had to take him to the hospital because he knocked himself out.’

When asked on This Morning if she was just ‘too picky’, Jenna admitted: ‘I’ve got a definite type. I am quite picky but I have a definite type in looks but that tends to come with a certain territory.

I like heavily tattooed guys who look after themselves.

‘I just need someone who is able to connect with me on a deeper level. I don’t like small talk. Tatts are normally quite deep and artistic.’

Declan Donnelly says Holly Willoughby was his first choice to step in for Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

Holly joined Dec on I’m A Celeb in 2018 after Ant McPartlin, who has hosted the show with Dec since it began in 2002, focused on rehab after his arrest for drink driving.

Speaking at the Baftas on Sunday night, Dec said there was no question about whether I’m A Celeb would go ahead last year.

‘It was always going to ahead. We love doing the show and the audience love the show – it would have been a shame to have paused it,’ The Mirror quotes him saying.

‘It was all about who to partner with really and Holly was always top of my list.’

Holly and Dec turned out to be a stellar pairing as they crowned Harry Redknapp the 2018 champ with the series drawing in a peak audience of 11.9million.

Adding that they are both old friends, he was happy she agreed to join him in Australia and keep the show in ‘a safe pair of hands’.

However Holly’s jungle antics are likely to be a one-off.

‘She did make it clear that she saw it as a one year thing so I don’t think she will be back again this year,’ Dec said.

Ant and Dec were reunited on the Baftas red carpet as I’m A Celebrity won awards for best reality and constructed factual show.

As the ITV show picked up the win, Ant joined Dec and Holly on stage but was seen ushering Holly to the front to accept the award.

In his speech Dec said: ‘This goes to a very hard and dedicated production team both here and in Australia. Our crew in Australia work incredibly hard.

‘I’d like to say thank you to Holly for helping me out last year, who did a fantastic job standing in for Ant, who has reluctantly has come up here with us tonight.

‘He’s still part of the team obviously so we wanted him up here to celebrate with us as well.’

What was going on with Daenerys in Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5? Fans are freaking out

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones
Will Daenerys’ actions have consequences?  (Picture: HBO)

Daenerys Targaryen has come a long way since the beginning of her time on Game Of Thrones, but now it seems like she might have gone too far.

***Warning: Spoilers Ahead***

The temper of the Dothraki queen has been kept in check for far too long thanks to advisors and right-hand men being there to hold her back when needed.

But now they’ve all gone, the battle for King’s Landing took a horrific turn on Sunday night when the vengeful queen literally rained hell upon their Army – as well as the citizens that were drawn into the middle of it all.

Killing hundreds, even after they surrendered, Dany showed no mercy as she unleashed fury – as Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister looked on in shock and panic over what she was capable of next.

She also killed Varys for betraying her and revealing to the masses that Jon Snow was in fact, the true heir to the throne – something she had sworn him to secrecy over.

In the wake of a costly victory, Jon and Daenerys look to the south as Tyrion eyes a compromise that could save countless lives.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned – and now Daenerys has nothing to lose (Picture: HBO)

As it happened, viewers had a lot of thoughts – and not many of them good, as the confusion over the calm and peaceful monarch suddenly turning violent appeared to signal her move towards the fate of her father, the so-called Mad King.

‘I expected fire and blood, but Dany had gone too far, far beyond what is needed to get the Throne,’ one wrote.

Well another declared: ‘Going through the hashtag and seeing people DEFENDING Daenerys and what she did makes me sick,’

However, others have noticed that she had probably had this in her all along – especially a chilling warning delivered all the way back at the end of season two.

‘For me, Dany didn’t do anything wrong. They deserved it. ” I will take what is mine with fire and blood “,’ one fan reminded people.

Another said: ‘This is what we’ve been waiting for ever since Dany became the mother of dragon’s. Great episode. Dragon fire, Kings Landing under seige, major deaths, Cleganebowl, Arya survives, conflict between Jon/Dany. Starks vs Targaryen last episode.’

Basically, everyone’s more divided about this than who they think should end up on the iron throne.

Either way, the true consequences of her actions will soon be revealed as the show enters its final moments next Sunday.

The Iron Throne now very much up for grabs, can Daenerys hold on to the power that she believes she’s owed?

With the trailer looking dark and foreboding, Tyrion Lannister and Arya Stark in particular look like they have their part to play in the final fate of Westeros.

Then there’s Daenerys herself, who, if the recent episode is anything to go by, is beginning to lose touch with reality as bloodlust takes over.

If you play the Game Of Thrones you win, or you die, so something tells us that the death count is far from over as we head into the epically long series finale that will give us our final answer.

Let the final game begin…

Britain’s Got Talent hopefuls Chapter 13 said their stint in West End show School of Rock helped with their audition.

Tom, Noah, Jake and Jacob wowed the Britain’s Got Talent judges on Saturday’s night’s episode.

The four-piece band – made up of Jacob, 14, and 15-year-olds Noah, Tom, and Jake – are no strangers to being on stage as they all met while performing School Of Rock on London’s West End.

Despite viewers branding their success as a ‘farce’ because they are seasoned performers, they stormed their audition and even won Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer.

The boys revealed that the show prepared them for BGT stardom.

Speaking to This Morning on Monday, lead singer Tom explained: ‘I used to find it hard to sing and play guitar at the same time. I just didn’t understand how people could do it. I think School Of Rock helped us a lot.’

Noah said: ‘Me and Tom shared a room because we live up north and couldn’t commute every day to the theatre. We had a music room in the house and we’d sneak in there and practice gigs and get told off a lot.’

Tom added: ‘We would pretend there’s an audience there.’

He went on: ‘In School Of Rock you get used to going on stage so it’s weird to become nervous. I’m sure all of us got nerves before the first show of School Of Rock, panicking and stuff.’

Noah revealed: ‘We had only played once as a band before Britain’s Got Talent in front of our mums, so we didn’t know what it was like.’

Asked about their plans for the future, Jacob said the goal was stay mates no matter how famous they got.

‘We dream about playing the 02 and Manchester Arena and stuff like that,’ Tom said, ‘but we want to stay as a band for as long as we can and for the rest of our lives.’

‘Friendship’s the best thing,’ said Jake.

Good news for Chapter 13 then, as they are currently the favourites to win this series.

Bookies Ladbrokes have put the band at 5-1 to go all the way, overtaking Dave and Finn at 6-1 and Flakefleet Primary School Choir also at 6-1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘BGT may have discovered the next One Direction in the shape of Chapter 13 – there’s every chance the youngsters go all the way and win the series.’

Ladbrokes odds on Britain's Got Talent 2019 winner

Chapter 13 – 5/1

Dave and Finn – 6/1

Flakefeet Primary School Choir – 6/1
Ben Hart – 10/1

Mark McMullan – 10/1

Jonathan Goodwin – 12/1

This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.

*Warning: This article contains spoilers from Game of Thrones season 8 episode 5, titled The Bells.

Lord Varys star Conleth Hill has admitted he was frustrated to have been pushed out of the major storylines from the past few seasons of Game of Thrones.

Season eight episode five, titled The Bells, saw Varys become the first of many to be killed by Daenerys Targaryen (played by Emilia Clarke), who massacred thousands of innocent civilians in a merciless quest to kill Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

After betraying his queen, Varys had it coming. Dany summoned her one remaining dragon and executed her aide on the spot.

‘I took it very personally,’ Conleth told Entertainment Weekly of his character’s death.

‘I took it as a person, not as an actor or an artist. I understood the reactions of previous actors who had been in same position a lot more than I did at the time.

‘You can’t help feeling that you failed in some way, that you haven’t lived up to some expectation that you didn’t know about.’

Varys emerged as one of the keep played of season eight, after somewhat dropping off the radar since the HBO series trailed away from the books of George RR Martin.

‘That’s been my feeling the last couple seasons, that my character became more peripheral, that they concentrated on others more,’ Conleth continued. ‘That’s fine. It’s the nature of a multi-character show.’

He went on: ‘It was kind of frustrating. As a whole it’s been overwhelmingly positive and brilliant but I suppose the last couple seasons weren’t my favourite. It just felt like after season six, I kind of dropped off the edge.’

The episode also saw the death of Cersei and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), with the majority of fans gutted the Queen bowed out with an unjustifiably romantic ending.

Cersei actress Lena has confessed she was unconvinced about her villain’s death too until she was talked around by her co-star.

Game of Thrones season 8 concludes Sunday at 9pm on HBO and will be simulcast at 2am on Sky Atlantic here in the UK. Seasons one to seven are currently available to stream on NOW TV.

Khloe Kardashian is returning to TV screens solo in the upcoming third season of her hit show Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian.

The makeover show will premiere this summer and feature a group of men and women that go through rigorous training and emotional support in order to recreate themselves after a breakup.

Mum-of-one Khloe appears in the trailer delivering motivational speeches, pushing her contestants to succeed in their workout and embracing them in support.

The 34-year-old’s show has been renewed and will help people on a ‘physically and emotionally challenging journey’ to create their best body following some kind of difficulty, be it a financial, or personal, or both, Variety reports.

Eli Frankel, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Ryan Seacrest, and Larissa A.K. Matsson are executive producers.

KoKo has had her fair share of hardships in the past few months, given that she recently broke up with the father of her child Tristan Thompson after yet another cheating scandal.

Khloe created the show after she underwent a revenge body transformation brought about by the breakdown of her marriage to ex-husband Lamar Odom in 2012 following – you got it – cheating scandals on his part.

Khloe has always been open about her struggles, and speaking about the show in the past, she said: ‘My entire life, I’ve been compared to my sisters. I don’t look like them. I was chubby and tall. I mean, I lost a lot of confidence in myself. I found a new me and this happiness, and I want to share it with other people.’

Now, on the eve of season three, Khloe experienced another breakup, this time with the father of her child after Tristan cheated on her with her sister’s best friend.

Tristan and Khloe split up in February after it came to light that he kissed Jordyn Woods at a party in his house, and a year earlier in April 2018 he was pictured on CCTV getting close to several women in a club – just days before Khloe gave birth to their child, True.

Since the two scandals broke out, Khloe and Tristan have been pictured together, with the NFL player attending a family party to celebrate True’s first birthday. Though the pictures that came out of the shindig were cute, the pair reportedly stayed far away from one other.

A source told People: ‘Khloe and Tristan posed for some pictures together with True, but otherwise had very little interaction.

‘There was never a question if he would be invited…Everything went smoothly. Khloe had asked her family to behave and leave Tristan alone.’

The insider explained that it’s ‘important’ to Khloe that True ‘spends as much time with Tristan as possible’, because she wants her only child to ‘have a great relationship’ with her father.

Jake Quickenden has revealed posing naked in his new show Hair has helped him overcome his anxiety.

The 30-year-old appeared on Loose Women where he got real about his mental health problems – which he believes stems from losing both his dad and brother to bone cancer.

However, despite waking up and feeling anxious for no reason, the star decided to take on a new challenge, which sees him pose naked in front of a crowd every night.

Yes, the former Dancing On Ice contestant is currently starring in the new musical – and claims the role has helped him gain confidence.

The X Factor star said: ‘I’m happy with who I am, I’m happy I can have a pint and a kebab, and I go to the gym. But I feel I am secure with who I am.’

‘I spoke about that on my Instagram but I also say that I do have my troubles,’ he confessed before adding: ‘Nobody is perfect, I think Instagram posts a perfect picture.’

‘But I shouldn’t have to worry about that – It’s my Instagram and I should be able to post whatever I want on there.’

He continued to address his anxiety and admitted that he sometimes doesn’t even know what he is anxious about.

‘I wake up feeling anxious for no reason whatsoever,’ Jake confirmed, as he revealed: ‘I think it stemmed from my dad and my brother passing away.’

‘There’s people out there who are much worse off than me, but that doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to be anxious.

Jake laughed: ‘The show is amazing – the show is better than just me being naked.’

Talking about his audition, he teased: ‘I’m running out of reality shows to do so I have to do something else

‘I went for the audition and I didn’t think I’d get it – but they kind of showed a bit of faith in me and gave me a part

The Walking Dead comics may have revealed Daryl’s TV death ahead of season 10

Norman Reedus' character Daryl Dixon in the AMC show The Walking Dead
Could this be the way he dies: (Picture: Gene Page/AMC)

Norman Reedus’ character Daryl Dixon has been slowly but surely filling the gap left behind with the death of Nick Grimes, and he may well follow in his footsteps – at least where the comics are concerned.

Viewers of the AMC show were both distraught and happy when they found out Andrew Lincoln was departing from the show, though it was renewed for a season 10.

The show waved goodbye to its main protagonist Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, as fans saw him being whisked away by a helicopter to an unknown location.

His departure from the show, like many other instances, did not follow Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comics canon but it doesn’t mean the show departs fully from it.

Diehard fans of the comics will quickly point out that Daryl Dixon, who rose to prominence after Grimes left, is a character that was not plucked from the comics and was instead created specifically for the TV show.

With that in mind, how can the comic set up his death in the upcoming season 10 of the show?

Norman Reedus' character Daryl Dixon in the AMC show The Walking Dead
The final season of season 9 had many dying – but Daryl was not one of them (Picture: AMC)

In issue number 191 of the Kirkman comics, Grimes was shot in the chest by Sebastian Milton, marking what was mostly likely the end of his life, Comicbook reports.

Though the AMC show has a mish-mash of original and new characters in the mix, it is likely that if Daryl were to die, it would be meeting a similar fate.

That is if Angela Kang, the series writer, dips into the source material and transposes the canon storyline on Daryl, given that Grimes is no longer in the show.

The final episode of season nine appears to have set up Daryl is an important character when the show returns, with fans suggesting his survival could mean he becomes the next leader of Hilltop – adding weight to the idea that if he were to go, he’d go like canon Grimes.
