Tom Ellis pretty much confirms Lucifer season 5 – as show-writers tease ‘full-frontal’ scenes

We’re not sure why they’re keeping us hanging like this (the little devils) but it appears that Lucifer season five is officially a go thanks to a Q+A.

The main man himself, Tom Ellis, was joined by show-writers Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson who revealed all about their plans about what’s coming up in the next season.

…And then they annoyingly added ‘if there is a next season’ to the end of it all to make sure no one can say for sure the crime-fighting lord of the underworld is officially back in business.

But if their answers are anything to go by…it’s happening gang, and we have one hell of a season coming up people, so buckle in.

During the chat, which was held over Instagram stories, the team revealed that there will be a ‘familiar face’ popping up in Hell to visit Luther.

Someone that Lucifans know well, Ildy teased: ‘Hitler?’ to which Joe replied: ‘Probably’.

Tom Ellis and Lucifer writers in Q&a
Tom was joined by writers Joe and Ildy about ‘potential’ season five (Picture: Instagram)

And when asking more than anything what they want to see in season 5 more than anything, all three were in agreement – after seeing his bum in season four (thank you nudist colony), the team want to push Tom to his limits with a full-frontal scene.

The interview gave us everything we wanted and more (apart from that darned confirmation), and Lucifans are going to be more than pleased with other revelations.

One major question to be answered? What that darn prophecy is all about.

‘The prophecy actually, we never totally explained it, which is true, is Evil being released…is evil being released from Lucifer?,’ said Ildy.

The writers joked they want to make Lucifer go full frontal next season (Picture: Netflix)

Joe then added: ‘Lucifer becomes a better person’ which appears to shock everyone – including Tom.

Then, of course, there’s a whole bunch of info on our beloved Deckerstar, such as if and when she’ll find out about being put in Lucifer’s path, whether she’ll ever join him to reign in Hell, or even if she’ll go down there herself to save him.

Tom shut down that last question, teasing: ‘Well how an earth will she do that? What a ridiculous question!’

But then there’s the question about whether she’s an angel or not…

All we know is, with this show, pretty much nothing is off limits – just the way the devil likes it.

Come on guys, you know you can trust us – and you know we’d never lie to you…

Lucifer seasons 1-3 are available on Amazon Prime Video, and season 4 is available on Netflix.

Kanye West opened up about the tragic death of his mum Donda in a first look clip of his interview with David Letterman for Netflix.

The Love Lockdown singer lost his mum back in 2007 and has been open about how her death permanently changed him.

In a clip uploaded by his wife Kim Kardashian, Kanye is seen revealing how he wished she could’ve met her grandchildren.

He is seen telling the camera: ‘This would’ve been the funnest time of her life, to have those kids running around that house and being able to go and buy them toys.’

Remembering a spat from weeks before she died, he said: ‘I remember my mum bought me a bear that was multi-coloured, and I was very into Takaski Murakami at the time on that third album Graduation.

‘She bought it, she said it kind of feels like Takaski Murakami and I was like “I don’t want that, that ain’t no Takaski Murakami bear” and stuff like that.’

While seemingly unimportant at the time, it was something that he came to live to regret.

‘She passed a few weeks after,’ he continued. ‘I did everything I could to find that bear and place it on top off all the Takaski Murakami stuff. I had in the house.’

The singer added: ‘She’s here with us. She’s guiding us.’

Kim and Kanye have recently welcomed their fourth child, a young boy called Psalm, via surrogate.

Psalm joins their two daughters, North, 5, and Chicago, 16-months, and other son, Saint, 3.

Kim, who was sitting in the audience during the show being taped, uploaded the first clip on the pair’s fifth wedding anniversary.

During the interview with Letterman, Kanye also opens up about his ‘erratic’ behaviour and battle with bipolar disorder.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction airs 31 May on Netflix.

Even Gogglebox wasn’t happy with Game Of Thrones’ finale: ‘What an anti-climax!’

The Michael Family - Gogglebox
The Michaels had some serious feelings over the finale (Picture: Channel 4)

You might have missed this guys, but Game Of Thrones ended last weekend – and people aren’t best pleased with who ended up running the Seven Kingdoms.

Even with all the families in Gogglebox, not one of them approved, though in their typical style, they expressed their anger in a very ‘them’ way.

(Warning: Spoilers for the Game Of Thrones finale lie ahead. But where have you been all week?)

Starting off with the death of Daenerys at the hands of Jon Snow, most of the families on tonight’s show were in agreement that the queen had to die following the inferno she created at King’s Landing.

Andrew Michael, easily the biggest fan of the whole show, was quick to shush his mum and dad as they asked questions about what was going on, screaming as Jon stuck the knife in.

While Jenny and Lee shone a torch on the situation (literally) so they could figure out what was going on, the Malone family were quick to debate what had just happened while others labelled it a ‘s***e’ and ‘an anti-climax’.

The Siddiqui family - Gogglebox
The Siddiquis realised Bran must’ve known his fate from the start (Picture: Channel 4)

But it was actually the final decision over who should be ruler that really caused the trouble with a yelly Andrew declaring: ‘He’s only said like, five words this whole series!’

…I mean, he’s not wrong.

Giles and Mary were, as always, pretty casual about the whole thing, with Giles looking on the bright side as he said: ‘Terrific boost for the disabled lobby, Nutty!’

Baasit Siddiqui said: ‘Bran wasn’t on my list – I’m well annoyed!’

But it was Umar, who was with brother Baasit and dad Sid, that hit the annoying nail on the head the most.

Speaking about what happened to his family, he sighed: ‘By having a guy, that becomes the King, that can see into the future, [it] means that the whole series, the eight series, was pre-ordained and he knew it.’

Game Of Thrones is available on catch-up with NOW TV.

Simon Cowell has admitted that his son Eric will get bullied when he starts attending school because of him.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge goes the extra mile to keep his five-year-old happy – including building a special Harry Potter room in their house and having Baby Shark perform at the X Factor final last year.

But he’s left helpless when it comes to the playground and Eric is with other kids, so he’s left fearing that Eric will still fall victim to bullies and schoolyard mocking.

Speaking to ex Terri Seymour about his son on Extra, Simon called the youngster his proudest moment, calling him the best.

When asked about his worried about bullies at school, he admitted: ‘Just the thought of it…If it ever happened to Eric, I would be right down at that school.’

In the meantime, Simon is concentrating on giving his son a normal childhood, and added: ‘Now we can cycle together. I love that. We just do normal things and I hope that stays.’

While Simon is getting ready for the BGT live shows that start next week, he is also backing and forthing to LA where America’s Got Talent is getting ready for a relaunch.

Coming with a new panel comprised of Howie Mandel, Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union, Terry Crews is also joining the show as host after his success on AGT: Champions.

Britain’s Got Talent: Champions is next up on the list, with Diversity and Susan Boyle looking like they’re about to go head-to-head in a rematch just like their original series back in 2009.

So it looks like our Si is going to keep himself pretty busy this year (especially when you add all that on top of the two X Factor series rumoured to end the year out).

Don’t worry though, if he needs someone to stand-in for him, we know a guy...

Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday at 8pm on ITV.

Love Island hopeful Kobi-Jean Cole ‘not approached by show’ amid claims she ‘quit to respect Miss GB title’

Love Island starts on 3 June
Love Island starts on 3 June, with speculation surrounding the line-up

Love Island is just a few weeks away, with a new batch of singletons looking for romance.

And it was previously claimed one of the stars they had lined up for this year’s instalment has already decided to quit the ITV show.

According to reports, Kobi-Jean Cole has pulled out of her search for love in the Spanish villa, out of ‘respect to her Miss Great Britain title’.

However, a show insider has told Metro.co.uk this couldn’t be further from the truth, as the 23-year-old was never in talks to appear in series five.

‘She has at no point been part of the line-up,’ they added.

Kobi’s personal trainer, Matt Fiddes, sparked speculation she was heading for the villa earlier this month, hinting she was getting in shape for the show.

But he later claimed she had decided to turn her back on the show, stating she wanted to respect the Miss Great Britain brand.

It was claimed Kobi-Jean was heading on to the show (Picture: Instagram)

‘There were some discussions regarding inclusion in this series between Kobi and the producers of Love Island during their casting process…,’ he wrote on Instagram

‘But it was decided that out of respect for her title and the Miss Great Britain brand she would not be taking part.’

Instead, she will be heading to Croatia to compete in the international final of Miss Tourism World.

While Kobi might not be stepping foot in the villa any time soon, it has been claimed producers have cast plus-sized model Jade Sezer for series five.

The 30-year-old is set to join Tyson Fury’s younger brother in Spain next month – and we already can’t wait.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BxVg2PeJeiM/

‘Previous years have been criticised for a lack of diversity among contestants,’ a source told The Sun.

‘This year producers are determined to have more variation among the Islanders.’

‘Jada would be a perfect choice because she is passionate about body positivity – and even appeared on Good Morning Britain in her underwear before running the marathon.’

And Malin Andersson is thrilled by the news, tweeting: ‘Love Island bosses recruit the show’s first ever plus size contestant.

‘So they DO listen.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted ITV for a comment.

Love Island begins on 3 June, on ITV2.

Stacey Solomon will not be planning on taking much maternity leave.

The Loose Women presenter, who welcomed a baby boy with boyfriend Joe Swash this week, previously revealed that she will only take a ‘couple of weeks’ off because of financial worries.

During an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, in March, the 29-year-old said: ‘I’m not planning on having loads of maternity but I’m not planning on having none.’

The mum-of-three explained that because she is self-employed she would prefer to not stay away from work for too long.

She explained: ‘I will give myself a couple of weeks to adjust before the due date.

‘But you know I enjoy my work so much and that will keep me occupied, it gets to that point in pregnancy that you think “Oh my god is it ever going to end?” Work can help with that.

‘People keep saying I can’t take maternity leave but obviously I can, but we are all self-employed so it is different, we could not be working for the next six months.’

The former X Factor star told The Sun Online a few weeks ago that she is chuffed to have been asked to rejoin the Loose Women panel following her maternity leave which she had originally set to start around her due date.

She said: ‘They have been really good about saying take the time that you need and they will have me back which is really amazing.

‘You are so replaceable and if you’re not there then someone else is going to jump at the chance to do it. Nothing is guaranteed and we are all freelance.’

In fact, Stacey worked right up until the birth of her baby boy who was born prematurely on Thursday.

Joe Swash and Stacey with her two eldest sons (Pictures: Instagram)

‘I’m self-employed so if I don’t work, I don’t get paid,’ she previously said on Chris Evans’ Virgin Radio Show.

‘In this industry, you can only earn while you’re earning and it might be a situation that I have work now but in six months time I might not. I will carry on working.’

Their new baby together is Joe Swash’s second child, who has 11-year-old son Harry with his ex-fiancé.

Stacey has two sons, Zachary, 11, and seven-year-old Leighton from two previous relationships.

Joe posted a dedication to Stacey as they announced the new baby’s arrival, which read: ‘This morning. A lot earlier than planned I watched the love of my life, bring a new life into the world.

‘We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come. Mummy and baby are well and resting. We are so grateful for all of the love, support and positivity we’ve received over the last 8 months.

‘I’m lost for words to describe how I’m feeling. So for now, I’m going to spend the next few days and the rest of my life falling more in love with these two humans. I didn’t think it possible but, today I witnessed the impossible.

‘My partner, My love, my life, you are a super human. I am forever in awe. Joe X.’

Love Island ‘cast air hostess and former beauty queen’ Amy Hart for new series

Amy wouldn’t be the first beauty pageant contestant to appear on Love Island (Picture: Instagram)

Love Island have reportedly recruited British Airways cabin crew and beauty pageant contestant Amy Hart to appear on this year’s series.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the ITV2 show said: ‘Amy has been a fan of Love Island for years, she’s always dreamed of being on the show.

‘When fellow air stewardess Laura Anderson took part last year it really spurred her on and gave her even more of a reason to apply.’

Amy, 26, has been a member of British Airways’ cabin crew for nine years and was once crowned Miss United Kingdom in the Miss Beautiful International pageant.

Just as Amy isn’t the only flight attendant to have taken part in the show, she’s also not the first pageant contestant as former Miss GB herself, Zara Holland, appeared on the second series of Love Island.

Zara was stripped of her title after having sex with fellow Islander, Alex Bowen, and has since called for the show to be axed following the deaths of two former contestants.

‘You think you’re on a summer holiday and you might find love, but you are in a posh prison where you don’t know what time it is and a voice in a wall tells you what to do,’ she says of her time on the show.

‘I honestly believe I was brainwashed.’

Meanwhile, the current reigning Miss GB, Kobi-Jean Cole, has refuted claims she’s already quit the show before it’s even begun.

Rumours claimed she had decided to step away from the show ‘out of respect’ for her title, but a source has told Metro.co.uk Kobi-Jean was never even in the line-up.

Amy is rumoured to be joined by Love Island’s first ever ‘plus size’ contestant, model and mental health campaigner Jada Sezer.

Jada was the first ‘plus size’ model to walk at London Fashion Week and has apparently been cast this year in an effort to quell cries for increased diversity.

Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy is also said to be entering the villa this summer, with the legendary boxer revealing the news in an interview with ESPN: ‘He’s going on a TV show called Love Island. He’s a good looking young kid and I think he’s going to be a hit with the ladies on it.’

The new stars will be subject to the show’s new duty of care process, which will see all Islanders receive therapy and continuous assessments throughout their time in the villa and after.

Theresa May on Britain's Got Talent

Theresa May resigned as Prime Minister in an emotional speech yesterday, but it seems she has already got her eye on another career move.

In fact, she took time out of her busy schedule and planning Brexit to ‘secretly audition for Britain’s Got Talent’.

In the most awkward timing known to man, tonight’s show begins with Kath Thompson dancing for Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams – while dressed up as the 62-year-old.

Complete with a red blazer, black trousers and a briefcase which reads: ‘TM’ – very similar to what the actual Theresa May wore for her resignation speech.

She comes on stage to Dancing Queen while mocking the PM’s previous dancing exploits, and flossing on stage, in front of a baffled Simon.

Side note: Who could forget her ‘epic’ moves out in Nairobi…

At one point, yoga teacher Kath strips off her suit to reveal a sparkly, sequinned bodysuit before twirling EU and British flags.

‘I can’t ever unsee that,’ a shocked Declan Donnelly tells the camera.

We know how you feel, hun…

Earning a standing ovation from the judges, Simon thanks Kath/Theresa for gracing the ITV stage for an audition.

While David tells her: ‘It was one of the most fun things I’ve ever seen in my life. If this doesn’t solve Brexit I don’t know what will…’

Oh, David…

Kath’s audition will air just one day after Mrs May handed in her resignation, tearing up in an emotional speech in front of 10 Downing Street.

‘This country is a union: not just a family of four nations, but a union of people, all of us – whatever our background, the colour of our skin or who we love, we stand together and together we have a great future,’ she said.

‘Our politics may be under strain but there is so much that is good about this country.

‘So much to be proud of, so much to be optimistic about.’

Following the news, a string of people have put their name into the leadership race, in a bid to take on the job – including actual Linda La Hughes.

But we think Kath Thompson could do a decent job of replacing her, especially with those moves…

And we already can’t wait.

Not only that, BTS will be making their UK television debut in the semi-finals, next week.

The K-Pop – made up of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook – are set to take a break from their sold-out tour at Wembley Stadium by popping up on the stage, and belting out their new single, Boy With Luv,

ITV confirmed the news today, with James Arthur, Gloria Estefan, Sherdian Smith and Jason Donovan rounding out the performances for the semi-finals, which kick off on Monday.

It has not yet been announced which night of the semi-finals they will be performing on.

The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus celebrates Melissa McBride’s birthday ahead of season 10

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus has taken to Instagram to wish his co-star Melissa McBride a happy birthday with an animated photo.

The actress – who plays Carol in the show – celebrated her 54th birthday on 23 May.

And Norman (Daryl Dixon) shared an epic gif of himself being fed by his co-star to celebrate.

Charming.

Norman and Melissa are currently filming season 10 of The Walking Dead, and it looks like we’ll be seeing their characters together a lot more than before.

The first photo from the set hardly gives anything away, but shows the pair are still each others’ rock.

Norman also posted a picture of Daryl and Carol’s on-set chairs, with a ‘What Would Daryl Do?’ notebook on his own seat.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BxIE5PunwS3

The co-stars, who have worked with each other on the AMC show since 2010, have proved themselves to be BFFs in real life too.

Melissa recently joined Norman for his new show Ride, in which the actor teams up with a celebrity pal to travel across an area on a motorbike.

They rode across Scotland in search of Melissa’s heritage, of which she says: ‘I’ve always had this romanticised idea in my head that I would live on a cliffside with some sheep and listen to the ocean crashing on the cliff rocks.

‘And running in the moors, a little flute pipe…’

Norman quickly interrupts her and says her imagination of what her life could be like sounds like ‘a big douche commercial.’

Nice.

As for Daryl and Carol, we last saw them returning to Alexandria having survived a life threatening blizzard.

Meanwhile, we have no idea whether Maggie will be making a return but we do know we’ll be saying goodbye to Michonne.

Sounds like season 10 is shaping up to be a good’un, though we might have to wait until October for it to air.

Will there be a series two of The Society on Netflix?

Netflix's The Society
The Society has had a great response from fans (Picture: Netflix)

The teenagers of West Ham (not that one) went through a whole lot in The Society series one, with an alternate reality creating plenty of mystery.

The YA drama has plenty of fans on social media, but given the fate of similar shows like Santa Clarita Diet, they’re left wondering whether the show will get another season.

It first came out on May 10, so there hasn’t been all that much time for Netflix to evaluate its popularity and whether it will continue.

There has been plenty of noise about their renewal guidelines recently, and other shows like Insatiable and Everything Sucks were axed.

Let’s take a look at the renewal guidelines, and whether it looks like The Society will return to our screens.

Will and Cassandra The Society
We were left on something of a cliffhanger (Picture: Netflix)

Shows only have around 28 days to impress Netflix and bag themselves another season, according to Cindy Holland, Original Content VP for the service.

Ratings are obviously important, but whether the creative team can deliver more is also taken into account.

As yet, there has been no word of another season of The Society, as Netflix execs will be the ones with the key deciding metrics.

That said, there are a few hints that it may come back. For example, the finale left plenty of cliffhangers, suggesting there’s more to come for the show.

Reviews online have also been largely positive, with 95% of Google users saying they enjoyed the show.

The show’s creator, Christopher Keyser, told IndieWire on the topic: ‘I think it’s flexible. It could expand. I know full well that first we need to get a second season and then we need to deal with what Netflix’s general philosophy is about how many seasons shows get. I don’t really have any idea’.

Watch this space!

Montana Brown has revealed she didn’t begin suffering from anxiety until after she appeared on Love Island.

The 23-year-old recently sought counselling after suffering abuse from online trolls following the death of her friend and co-star Mike Thalassitisearlier this year.

Now the reality TV star shared that appearing on the hit dating show in 2017 triggered her mental health issues.

In a video on her YouTube, Montana answered questions sent in by fans for Mental Health Awareness Week.

When asked if she suffered anxiety before Mike died by suicide, she confirmed that leaving the villa two years was the first time she suffered from stress and anxiety.

She said: ‘When I first left Love Island, that’s when I started to get anxiety, and that was the first time I really experienced anxiety and stress, really in those situations, when I shot to fame – which was obviously fantastic but it does come with downfalls.

‘But obviously, my mental health problems now are a little bit different and I wouldn’t say they are mental health problems, it’s just dealing with grief.’

Montana, who was close friends with Mike following their time together in the third season, shared how she dealt with grief after Mike’s passing in March.

Speaking of her initial reaction to the news of his death she said she felt ‘angry’ and ‘upset’ over his ‘selfish decision’, so turned to ‘writing letters to him’ to process her emotions.

‘In my writing phase I was writing to him – so I was almost writing letters to him,’ she continued.

‘Which obviously seems ridiculous at the time but at that point, the first week or two weeks, it was really, really helpful for me because I was writing everything down.

‘I was getting my anger out on the page and it was very therapeutic for me and I felt like it relieved me of some of my anger.’

Montana’s also shared that she has been seeing a bereavement counsellor recently to help her work through grieving in the public eye – especially after suffering trolls who were unkind about Mike’s death.

Her comments come after Love Island released a detailed account of the duty of care process each contestant will go through before entering the series five villa which is set to start on 3 June.

The show has come under fire following the deaths of series two star Sophie Gradon and Mike, both due to suicide.

It has now been confirmed that former Love Island Contestant Mike Thalassitis took his own life this weekend, aged 26. News of his passing has sent shockwaves across the nation, but sadly male suicide is all too common, and has become the biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK. His untimely death serves as a stark reminder why men need to open up about their mental health, a subject highlighted with our campaign, Project 84. Joining us to remember her friend is Mike?s Love Island co-star, Montana Brown, alongside CEO of CALM, Simon Gunning.

As some other stars demanded the show be pulled from the air, in the same way The Jeremy Kyle Show was axed following the suspected suicide of one of their contestants, Love Island bosses are now keen to put minds at rest as the new series begins.

In the full statement, the show outlined three ‘key stages’ for the pre-filming, filming and aftercare – with aftercare in particular getting an increase in support.

After evaluating their previous care, they have added enhanced psychological support and more detailed conversations with potential Islanders regarding the impact of participation on the show.

On top of that, each islander will be given social media and financial management training to help them tackle their sudden cashflow and attention online.

Ant and Dec go undercover as they audition for Britain’s Got Talent and leave judges speechless

Ant and Dec finally auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent (Picture: ITV)

Tonight sees the end of Britain’s Got Talent auditions for another year, with the semi-finals kicking off next week.

And Ant and Dec took a moment to commemorate the milestone – by donning dog costumes and auditioning for the ITV show themselves, along with Stephen Mulhern.

Yes, seriously.

As judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams settled down to watch the final audition of 2019, they had no idea it was the presenters underneath the pup outfits waddling on stage.

The judges got into the spirit of things as they modelled dog ear headbands, as the Disco Dogs strut their stuff.

Amanda and Alesha were clearly very taken with the act, jumping up on the table and dancing along to Gangnam Style with them, while David branded the whole thing ‘bonkers’.

‘This is the sort of thing my son Eric would love,’ Simon continued. ‘What a great end to the show this year. Thank you.’

Did the Disco Dogs go through though? (Picture: ITV)

Si’s massive grin soon turned to shock as the dogs lifted the heads off their costumes, revealing themselves to be Ant and Dec.

Ant screamed: ‘We did it, after all these years,’ as the judges rushed to celebrate with them.

Surely this is worth a golden buzzer from someone?

It was confirmed earlier today that Susan Boyle would be making a spectacular return to the Britain’s Got Talent stage, a decade after she first auditioned for the show.

The Wild Horses singer will be performing a duet of A Million Dreams with Michael Ball, during the live final next Sunday.

Honestly, it’s going to be magical.

As well as SuBo, BTS will be making their UK TV debut in the semi-finals – belting out Boy With Luv.

James Arthur, Sheridan Smith and Jason Donovan will be joining the K-Pop favourites during the week.

But will Disco Dogs also get a place in the semi-finals?

You’ll have to wait and find out…

Britain’s Got Talent continues tonight, at 8pm, on ITV.

Bros’ Matt and Luke Goss have denied their planned appearance on Britain’s Got Talent was cancelled due to an ‘explosive row’.

The iconic twins were scheduled to appear on the ITV show next week – as are BTS and Susan Boyle – but have now pulled out.

Soon after reports from The Sun claimed that sources apparently confirmed the pair experienced a tense argument and therefore pulled out of the show.

However, according to Digital Spy, the Drop The Boy singers insist they dropped out of BGT over ‘scheduling issues’.

Meanwhile, the duo reportedly signed on the dotted line and ordered a new Bros documentary after gracing our TV screens with pearls of wisdom and endless quotable lines with their most recent doc.

The first documentary, Bros: When The Screaming Stops, aired last Christmas and was a surprise hit thanks to the Spinal Tap-esque antics of the brothers.

Fans both old and new delighted in the band’s hilarious one-liners, which covered everything from the lack of conker games taking place across England to superstition (thanks again Stevie Wonder).

According to reports, the new doc will be another fly-on-the-wall look at the band’s rise to internet fame after 25 years of near obscurity.

‘Matt and Luke are returning [to the UK] in July for a string of gigs in Brixton and filming will begin there,’ a source told The Mirror.

‘It will almost be like a TV reality show this time, exploring how they were perceived before the previous documentary, how they were vilified and then how they became an overnight sensation.’

Earlier this year, the band revealed they were in talks to sign to a major music label to release new music and wanted to create a new documentary detailing the process.

Luke credited When The Screaming Stops for allowing him to build bridges with his brother.

Speaking on Lorraine he said, ‘The documentary, as much as it is a feature film, it was building bridges between Matt and I and learning to communicate creatively …

‘You’ve got to let it live as it is. Truth in a documentary is paramount.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for both Matt and Luke for a comment.

Killing Eve’s breakout star, Jodie Comer, has opened up about how playing the show’s assassin, Villanelle, has effected her love life.

In an interview with The Australian, the Liverpudlian actor said she has ‘zero’ love life and that no one approaches her anymore.

‘I don’t know if it’s particularly because I’ve played a psychopath. I don’t get approached at all,’ she told the paper, though it turns out she’s not too bothered, adding: ‘Which is fine – I’m never in one place long enough.’

Well, no one she would actually want to be with approaches her anyway.

Jodie went on to tell a story about coming off a flight at 2am to find a group of ‘strange men’ waiting for her to sign autographs at the arrivals gate of the airport. According to the star, they’d already been following her for the full week of press she’d just undertaken.

The 26-year-old broke up with her unknown long-term boyfriend in March, despite only revealing she was in a relationship last September.

While her love life may be non-existent, Jodie is flying higher than ever when it comes to work, having just won her first BAFTA for playing Villanelle.

It was such a momentous occasion for the actor that she shed a couple of tears during her acceptance speech, quickly apologising for ‘being the only one to turn on the waterworks’.

There’s a chance we might get another teary speech from Jodie at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, where she’s up for the Best Villain gong.

The actor is currently in Boston shooting her latest project, Free Guy, with Detective Pikachu star Ryan Reynolds who plays a man who finds out he is actually a character in a video game.

Killing Eve fans will be happy to hear that the cat-and-mouse drama will be back for a third series, though we’ll have to wait a while as season 2 is yet to air in the UK.

Killing Eve season 2 will air on BBC One, in June.

Obsessed with Chernobyl? Here’s 7 shows you need to watch on Netflix

Chernobyl is sweeping critical acclaim (Picture: Netflix)

Chernobyl has emerged as one of the best new dramas of 2019, wrapping some incredible performances into an oddly relevant retelling of the 1986 disaster.

The co-production between Sky and HBO stars Jared Harris (Valery Legasov) and Stellan Skarsgard (Boris Shcherbina), as it explores the tension between political officials and scientists wrestling with the disaster’s aftermath.

With the five-part miniseries nearly at an end, you might be left clamouring for your next fill of historical drama. Want to plan your craving early? Here’s the best shows as a potential follow-up on Netflix.

The Crown

While the bleak tone of Chernobyl might not immediately sync up with The Crown, it’s certainly a rival when it comes to big budget historical drama.

Starring Claire Foy and Matt Smith as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip respectively, the series charts their reign in the context of significant historical events – such as the 1956 Suez crisis, the final bow of Winston Churchill (John Lithgow), and the Great Smog of London in 1952.

If you like incredible attention to detail in your historical TV, Mad Men sets an astoundingly high bar. This 1960s New York period drama charts the evolution of fictional advertising agency Sterling Cooper, as well as the personal lives of its troubled workers.

The show has garnered overwhelming critical acclaim, winning 16 Emmys and 5 Golden Globes over its seven season run. It also marks the defining role of Jon Hamm as the dashing Don Draper.

From one time period in New York to another, The Alienist is a crime drama set in 1896 which follows Dr Lazlo Kreisler, a mental health psychologist recruited to help track down a serial killer terrorising the streets.

It features an impressive cast including Daniel Bruhl and Luke Evans, with a second series in the works based on Caleb Carr’s follow-up novel The Angel Of Darkness.

Peaky Blinders

BBC

Historical drama with stylish attitude doesn’t get much better than Peaky Blinders, which focuses on 1920s gangsters in Birmingham as they dodge the law for power, wealth, and the hopes of a happy ending.

If you aren’t sold by the premise, the cast includes Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory and a number of spectacular villains. There’s also a strong soundtrack too, jumping from the likes of Arctic Monkeys to David Bowie.

House Of Cards

House Of Cards season 5 production still (Picture: Netflix)
House Of Cards is a fictional drama about Frank Underwood’s lust for power (Picture: Netflix)

Starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, House Of Cards was the show which pushed Netflix into the mainstream, with the help from renowned director David Fincher.

While the show’s quality took a significant dip after the first two seasons, the political drama is one of the best around for political melodrama and fourth-wall breaking monologues.

Designated Survivor

Designated Survivor has been revived on Netflix (Picture: ABC)

This US political thriller drama stars Kiefer Sutherland as politician Thomas Kirkman who, after being named the designated survivor, is bumped up from his position of US Secretary of Housing to President of the United States following a fatal explosion.

The show was cancelled by ABC after two seasons, but is set to return on Netflix for a third outing in June. It has slightly less brains than Chernobyl, but it’s nevertheless enormously entertaining and worth your time.

Dark Tourist

If you fancy seeing the dark tourism side of a nuclear disaster, an episode of this travel series, led by journalist David Farrier, heads to Tomioka, Japan, which was evacuated following the Fukushima nuclear disaster.

In his bid to seek out why tourists are so fascinated today, here ventures on a number of other bizarre trips including tours of Pablo Escobar’s legacy and the tourism cult surrounding serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.

Warning: Contains spoilers for Big Little Lies.

They might be at each other’s throats in Big Little Lies, but the cast of the hit HBO show have proven they’re the best of pals in a behind-the-scenes photo posted by Reese Witherspoon.

The picture shows the cast – Zoe Kravitz, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern and Nicole Kidman – all sat on Reese’s knee.

Now we know Hollywood actresses aren’t exactly the heaviest people in the world, but in Reese’s words: ‘Who’s idea was it to put shorty on the bottom?’

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx2lWJtA2I4/?utm_source=ig_embed

Judging by the actors’ fancy dress costumes, it looks like the candid snap was taken during filming of the finale of the first season which ended at an Audrey Hepburn costume party.

Fans of the show will remember the party ending suddenly, when Zoe’s character Bonnie pushed Celeste’s (Nicole Kidman) abusive husband Perry (Alexander Skarsgard) down a flight of stairs to his death.

The next season is just around the corner, but the storyline has been kept a tight secret so far. We do know that we’ll pick up where we left off, with the police and the women of Monterey Bay trying to figure out exactly what happened and why.

And same, honestly.

Meryl Streep Big Little Lies
We didn’t think Big Little Lies could get any better until Meryl joined the cast (Picture: HBO)

We also know that Hollywood legend Meryl Streep has joined the Monterey Five as Perry’s mother, Mary Louise, who is intent on snooping around to uncover the truth about what happened to her son.

There’s also talk of Perry returning to the show from beyond the grave, as actor Alexander Skarsgard has been spotted on set and has admitted he’s read ‘all the scripts’. Could we be in for some throwback scenes?

This isn’t the first time Reese has shared a BTS pic of the cast, though last time she gave us a sneak peek of her on set mates she had to edit Zoe Kravitz into the background lest she suffer from FOMO.

We know exactly how she feels.

Big Little Lies returns to Sky Atlantic on 10 June.

A Game of Thrones fan correctly predicted Daenerys’ fate seven years ago

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones
For one fan Dany’s downfall was a long time coming (Picture: HBO)

Warning: Spoilers for Game Of Thrones ahead.

Game Of Thrones might have come to an end, but that won’t stop us going over theories and unpicking story lines for probably years to come.

Opinions are coming thick and fast when it comes to Daenerys Targaryen – some of us aren’t at all happy, while some of us are slowly coming to terms with the end of the best TV show we’ve ever had the pleasure to binge.

But one Mumsnet user somewhere in the world will be feeling very smug, as it turns out they correctly predicted what would happen to Dany in the very last episode.

Writing seven years ago on a thread about naming your baby Daenerys (good luck to all the parents who went down that road…), the user nooka advised the original thread creator against the idea: ‘No! Fantasy writers love their weird names, but I really don’t think that children do.

‘No one will know how to pronounce or say the name, and they will either think you made it up or are an OTT (over the top) George R R Martin fan.’

Nooka has a very good point there, but even more so when they go on to accurately foretell what’s in store for the Mad Queen: ‘Plus knowing him she might well go insane or come to a very nasty end.’

In the wake of a costly victory, Jon and Daenerys look to the south as Tyrion eyes a compromise that could save countless lives.
Lots of GOT fans weren’t happy with Dany’s final arc (Picture: HBO)

Mind blown.

Okay, maybe it’s not that wild that someone would have guessed Dany would take after her father after all the stories of the Mad King were woven throughout the novels, but it does show the seeds were sewn long ago.

Game Of Thrones were experts at foreshadowing – we were actually shown part of the last episode all the way back in season two, when Dany went through a series of visions while trying to rescue her dragons.

We were also warned about Dany’s forthcoming madness in season five, when Ser Barristen retold her father’s story to which she denied she was in danger of turning into him.

‘But the Mad King gave his enemies the justice he thought they deserved. And each time it made him feel powerful and right — until the very end,’ replied the knight.

Did everyone know but us?!

After a wildly successful run, Orange Is The New Black will be ending after season seven, which is due to be released later this summer.

An era is about to end as we ready ourselves to say goodbye to one of Netflix’s earliest and biggest successes – Orange Is The New Black.

We’ve been given our first look at the new season, and it’s sure to be an emotional ride.

The synopsis teases that: ‘In its final season, the ladies of Litchfield come to terms with the fact that prison has changed them forever.’

‘Piper struggles with life on the outside, while life in Max, as corrupt and unjust as ever, goes on without her.

‘Taystee’s friendship with Cindy still hangs in the balance as her life sentence looms, Gloria and her kitchen staff are confronted by the hard truth of Polycon’s newest profit stream, while others chase drugs or dreams and grapple with the reality of their place in this world.’

As we prepare for the beginning of the end, here’s what you need to know about the cast and the drop date of OITNB season seven.

When is the Orange Is The New Black season seven release date?

The final season of OITNB will be landing on Netflix on Friday, 26 July 2019.

So, at the time of writing, there’s only a little over a month left to wait until we get to see how it all ends.

On the subject of the series finishing, actress Uzo Aduba – who plays Susan Warren, aka Crazy Eyes – said: ‘I’m so grateful for the fun times, the knowledge, the friendships, the love, the family that we have created together. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

‘Season seven, you will not be disappointed. It is a season you will not forget and we’re going to give you everything and more that you could have ever wanted.’

Meanwhile Kate Mulgrew – who plays Red – added: ‘I’m going to miss playing and living on the edge of one of the most groundbreaking, original and controversial series of this decade.’

Who’s in the Orange Is The New Black Black season seven cast?

As it currently stands, IMDb is only confirming that Taylor Schilling, who plays Piper Chapman, and Alysia Reiner, who plays Natalie Figueroa, are the chief familiar faces to have made it to the 2019 episodes.

Milo Ventimiglia has confirmed that he’s completely aware of how This Is Us is going to end after it was announced it will run for three more seasons.

This Is Us has become a worldwide phenomenon as the heartbreaking series captures the lives of the Pearson family and their struggles in day-to-day life.

Told through flashbacks and flash forwards through time, Milo’s character Jack is in the young timeline of the Pearson triplets – with Mandy Moore playing their mum Rebecca as the kids grow up.

Knowing that the series is going to end after season six, Milo revealed in an interview with Extra that he knows we’ll say goodbye to the family, and we are seriously, seriously¸not ready for what’s about to come at us.

He told them: ‘Yeah! I do [know the ending]. We’re all like “this is amazing, this is going to be so great – we can’t wait!”

‘By the time we get there, it’s going to morph into something that we could not dream or imagine that it would become.’

In the meantime, adult Kate and her husband Toby are struggling with the premature birth of their baby boy, Jack, and what that means for him in the long-run.

Then there’s the future timeline, that promises trouble is on the way for family matriarch who is seen old and frail as the series jumps some more years.
