The Mr Robot teaser for the fourth and final season just dropped and we are so ready

Christian Bale asks ‘Are you still a friend?’ in a new teaser for the fourth and final season of techno-thriller Mr Robot and we have goosebumps.

After a long hiatus, the final season of the critically acclaimed drama will be released in October.

Thankfully patient fans have been treated to eerie teasers featuring the main protagonists.

In the latest clip a noticeably scruffier Mr Robot (Christian Bale) gazes into the distance as he leans against a beam for about 15 seconds before slowly strolling forward to address the camera.

He doesn’t speak yet his voice comes to us as narrator: ‘I know we don’t usually do this but I have to fill you in if he won’t. Because when that cold, brutal reality closes in on us we’re going to need a friend, and that’s still what you are.

‘Right?’

This led fans to ask if Mr Robot himself might be replacing Elliot as narrator for the last season.

The latest teaser comes after the final season trailer was released – showing the creepy 2015 Christmas world the last 13 episodes will inhabit.

The show will continue to follow computer programmer Elliot (Rami Malek) and Mr Robot as they ‘embark into dangerous territory in their mission to target the one percent’.

Malek has already revealed his character Elliot might be ‘crossing a line’ down a never-ending dark path as the series comes to a ‘very, very climatic’ ending.

An earlier teaser trailer for the Amazon Prime series showed depressive recluse Elliot staring hauntingly down the lens.

Mr Robot has been a massive cult hit for the streaming service, receiving a Golden Globe – both for the show itself and Christian Bale – and its actors winning a number of Emmys.

Mr Robot season 4 is released on October 6 on USA Network.

We already knew she could bake but it turns out Great British Bake Off finalist Ruby Bhogal can also dish, revealing backstage secrets.

The GBBO 2018 runner-up insists show host Paul Hollywood is ‘a really nice guy’.

‘He’s like that on and off camera. It’s all very tongue in cheek,’ she told Hello.

Hollywood had a bitter split with former partner Summer Monteys-Fullam in August after it was revealed she refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement about the relationship.

The show host later addressed the speculation that he was controlling, lashing out at Monteys-Fullam for ‘selling stories’ and ‘constantly courting the paps.

Meanwhile, Monteys-Fullam seems to be enjoying the single life, having been recently snapped having a night out with pals.

Commenting on the other hosts, Bhogal said that Noel and Sandy are just as supportive as they seem on screen.

‘They do a fantastic job. If you’re feeling stressed, they’ll come over and get your head straight or have a good chat,’ she said.

‘You could ask them for anything and they’d go out and do it.’

On the question of what happens to all that cake, Bhogal stressed that nothing goes to waste: ‘If it wasn’t the bakers that were going for it, then there’s a lot of production staff who were having an absolute ball.’

We were also delighted by Bhogal’s details about how the washing up gets done on the cult favourite cooking show – they are all hand washed by someone’s mum!

‘We go through a lot of utensils but because of the noise, you can’t have a dishwasher.’ she said. ‘God bless her, there was just one woman in the back, washing everyone’s dishes continuously. She did not complain about it, she was so sweet.

‘It was the mum of one of the girls who worked there. It sums up the show, it’s so family orientated.”

Bhogal also revealed more personal anecdotes about her greatest and lowest points on the show, where she was nearly eliminated in the first week which was ‘quite tough’.

‘One of my low points was my cake falling over – that wasn’t fun!,’ she said.

But she argued there were ‘too many’ highs to choose from on GBBO: ‘I got to do something that I love to do and met some incredible people who are now my best friends and I managed to somehow make it to the final.’

Since competing on the show Bhogal has demonstrated she can not only bake off but also glam up.

She is now putting her culinary skills to good use teaming up with Stork on their #BakeSomeoneHappy campaign.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BypX3QhF0ih/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

‘It’s all about encouraging more people to get in the kitchen and have a bit of fun,’ she said. ‘I know it sounds cheesy, but baking really is great for the soul and it brings a lot of happiness to people that you love. It’s about making it quick, easy and accessible for everyone.’

Brb, gone baking.

Kelly Clarkson becomes a Lucifer stan and demands more episodes

Kelly Clarkson reveals she wants to keep dancing with the devil as she appears in video begging Netflix for more seasons of Lucifer.

The singer has suddenly become a super-fan of the comic book series and is using her platform to plead with Netflix to ‘do her a solid’ and keep making the show.

In a video Clarkson said she’s ‘upset’ because she’s only just gotten onto the show as she has four children and a lot going on and now that she has seen it she is ‘obsessed’.

‘I cannot believe my sister was like “you need to watch this show, you’re going to love this show, you’re going to love this show”. And I kept trying but every time there was a kid, there was something that was happening so I never got to,’ she said.

‘And then I finally started watching it and I obsessively watched three seasons in four days. My husband is so over it probably but I love it.’

Relatable much!

But the Since U Been Gone singer said she is ‘so mad’ because she found out the show – which follows fallen angel Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) as he spends some time on Earth to understand humanity – is set to wrap up after season 5.

Clarkson addressed Netflix: ‘what do we need to do to make sure there’s more seasons than just season 5?

‘Because here’s what happens, I get on a show late in the game and it’s amazing and then people end up going “oh it’s over, it’s cancelled” and I’m like “why?” and I’m mad about it.’

Lucifer cast only found out hours before we did that the show was ending after season 5

‘If you haven’t watched Lucifer you should watch it, it’s awesome,’ she said. ‘Trust’.

They are so ‘awesome’ that Clarkson said she wants the whole cast to appear on her talk show – The Kelly Clarkson show.

‘I might have texted Aimee Garcia because we have the same hair guy, Roberto Ramos, and I love her, and I love the show.’

The Kelly Clarkson show, which landed the highest daytime debut’ in seven years over in the US, has a variety TV style with heartwarming stories, live musical performances, celebrity guests, games and surprises.

The live musical performance segment, in which Clarkson opens the show by singing covers of popular songs, is adorably titled ‘Kellyoke’.

While the fifth and final season of the dark drama Lucifer was originally only meant to only have 10 episodes, it was later boosted to 16.

The Lucifer writing team recently revealed the episode one title and it already broke people’s hearts.

But as Clarkson says it doesn’t even come out until ‘fricking spring or summer 2020’.

‘Whatever’.

You heard her Netflix, ‘continue this greatness’!

Strictly Come Dancing Kelvin Fletcher is haunted by thoughts of Jamie Laing’s injury.

The Made In Chelsea star was forced to drop out after suffering a foot injury in rehearsals.

Kelvin was brought in to replace him, and admits that poor Jamie is on his mind as he learns the ropes with professional partner Oti Mabuse.

Speaking about competing, he described it as ‘the most surreal week of my life’.

He went on: ‘I’m a massive fan of Strictly so it’s incredible. I’m so happy that I can be a part of it.

‘But at the same time it’s quite bittersweet! I’m coming in on the back of Jamie’s injury – I keep thinking about him!

‘I can’t imagine going through all this excitement and then having to pull out. My thoughts are with him – he seems like a fantastic guy and I hope he’s doing OK.’

He explained: ‘I grabbed Oti and said, “Oti something’s happened to my foot,” and she just went, “Dance.”‘

Game Of Thrones new spin-off in the works
Targaryen history will be explored in a new spin-off (Picture: HBO)

A new Game Of Thrones prequel spin-off is in the works based on House Targaryen, according to reports.

While the only confirmed Game Of Thrones spin-off is a prequel provisionally titled Bloodmoon, another spin-off has seemingly been given the green-light based on creator George RR Martin’s companion book Fire & Blood.

According to Deadline, the Game Of Thrones author and Colony co-creator Ryan Condal have written the series for HBO, which is set 300 years before the events of the original series and charts the beginning of the end for House Targaryen.

Fire & Blood, released last year, recounts stories of the early Targaryen kings, like the first ruler of Westeros, Aegon the Conqueror, and Aegon the Dragonbane – who are both ancestors to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

It was previously announced five spin-off shows were in the works, with this new show believed to be a revamped form of one of the original scripts commissioned by HBO.

George RR Martin has previously hinted in his blog a show based on the book was in the pipeline, describing how ‘two other shows remain in the script stage, but are edging closer’.

Will we get a better idea of Jon and Dany’s heritage? (Picture: Rex)

The only other Game Of Thrones spin-off in development wrapped filming on the pilot last month, which is set thousands of years before events in the main show.

An official synopsis reads: ‘Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game Of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age Of Heroes into its darkest hour.

‘And only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.’

Naomi Watts leads the cast in the spin-off, alongside John Simm, Miranda Richardson, Josh Whitehouse and Naomi Ackie.

Why is the new Top Boy season 3 now called Top Boy season 1?

Top Boy season 3 on Netflix
The brand new season of Top Boy is right around the corner (Picture: Netflix)

Top Boy makes its return this week, six years after the conclusion of the second season.

The show had an initial run of two seasons before it was shelved by Channel 4 in 2013, but since then Canadian rapper Drake has played a key role in ensuring the show got a picked up for a new season.

In the new episodes Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson will return in the leading roles of Dushane and Sully.

They will also be joined by new members of the cast, such as Simbi Ajokawo, David Omoregie and Michael Ward.

Why is Top Boy season three called season one?

The first two seasons of Top Boy were originally broadcast on Channel 4 in 2011 and 2013.

Both seasons are now available to watch on Netflix, but they have been renamed as Top Boy: Summerhouse, which refers to the housing estate in Hackney where the series is set.

This means that even though the next Top Boy episodes form the third season of the show, they will be displayed as season one.

The name change is likely because Netflix wants to brand it as a completely new series, because of the new cast members and new crew working on the series.

Speaking at the season premiere, Drake said: ‘I think September 13th is a really big UK heritage moment that you should be proud of.

‘You all made it happen, I just wanted it to happen.’

When is Top Boy out on Netflix?

The new season of Top Boy will be released on Netflix on Friday 13 September.

All of the new episodes are expected to be released at around 8am on Friday morning.

Lisa Kudrow ‘struggled’ with playing her ditzy Friends character Phoebe in the show’s early years.

Lisa, 56, said that she couldn’t connect with the part in the first three seasons, even though she had played similar roles before.

But it took a quick – and sweary – pep talk from co-star Matt Le Blanc to get her back on track.

Appearing on the YouTube series hiking with Kevin, she said: ‘I had played dumb girls for sure, but it wasn’t really me. I feel like, s**t I tricked them.

‘At the audition I feel I was the only one who could cope with the audition process and that’s how I got it I think.

‘I had to work hard at being Phoebe, then third season in I was struggling so much. And Le Blanc was like, “What’s going on with you?” and I was like, “I don’t think I have it. I don’t know what I’m doing”.

‘He said “You’re her, relax, you got it, you’ve been doing this f*****g character for three years. You’re working too hard, that’s your problem. You don’t need to work as hard.”‘

She also admitted to presenter Kevin that she has never watched the popular sitcom, which ended in 2004.

Kevin joked: ‘You wanna watch it’, and Lisa quipped: ‘I hear it’s good.’

Friends is celebrating its 25th – 25th! – anniversary with many of the celebrations taking place in the show’s home of New York.

Kelvin Fletcher is hoping to channel John Travolta when he hits Strictly Come Dancing, with a special move up his sleeve.

The former Emmerdale star, 35, was recently announced to be Jamie Laing’s replacement for the latest series, after an injury forced him to pull out the competition.

Taking to the floor with Oti Mabuse, Kelvin has a specific vision of how his Strictly moves will come across when he hits the ballroom floor.

‘I’ve got an idea of how I’d love to look,’ Kelvin said. ‘I want to be smooth, going around the dancefloor like John Travolta. But in reality that might not be the case!

‘I’ve just got to work really hard. But I also want to really enjoy it, I’m really looking forward to it.’

Kelvin has a particular move up his sleeve to score viewer approval too.

Asked his signature move, Kelvin said: ‘’Probably just taking my top off! Every time I’ve had a beer, that’s something I’ve done with friends.

‘All of my friends are all different shapes and sizes so it’s not even about how you look. I think it’s a Northern thing?’

Kelvin, known for playing Andy Sugden on ITV’s Emmerdale for 20 years, also thinks his co-stars might be shocked to see him on the show.

Ben Shephard suggests Ashley James’‘face doesn’t move’ in awkward TV moment

Good Morning Britain host Ben Shephard had to backtrack pretty quickly after suggesting that model and showbiz presenter Ashley James has had work done.

Ben and co-host Kate Garraway were discussing Simon Cowell’s recent comments saying he overdid it during what he called ‘the Botox years’.

Ashley had joined Friday’s episode as a showbiz reporter, and added: ‘I think he said he did too much back then, I can’t confirm or deny whether or not he does he now.’

Kate joked her response was ‘diplomatic’, which was when Ben chimed in with: ‘Is that because your face doesn’t move either?’

Ashley replied: ‘What are you saying?’

Newsreader Charlotte Hawkins let out a shocked, ‘Ben!’, while Kate said: ‘Her face moves! Her bones are barely formed she’s so young. She hasn’t got a wrinkle on her, goodness me.’

Bringing superstition into it, Ashley joked: ‘I’m not blaming you. It’s Friday the 13th, I can’t blame you for that comment. And I’ve got natural lips.’

‘Using that as an excuse, I love it,’ Ben said, seemingly to genuinely not know what was wrong with what he said.

Kate said: ‘Is it all natural? That’s what Ben really wants to know. He’s seen your Instagram and he wants to know if it’s all natural.’

‘I’ve had a lot of makeup. There is a big team behind this so I can’t say it’s all natural. Thank god for makeup with these early starts,’ Ashley told her, before Kate advised her to ‘plough on and ignore him’.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.

The Walking Dead season 10 episode titles and synopsis ‘leak’ as new trailer arrives

The Walking Dead
Michonne is leaving The Walking Dead in season 10 (Picture: Fox)

Warning: Contains spoilers for The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead season 10 episode titles and descriptions have seemingly leaked ahead of the show’s return in October.

Details of the first five episodes have found their way online via US-based entertainment data company Gracenote, previously the source of leaked (and correct) titles for the second half of season nine.

While they’ve not been confirmed by AMC, the source has a positive track record – so turn back now if you want to head into the next season entirely free from any potential spoilers.

The Walking Dead 'leaked' season 10 episode titles and descriptions

  1. Lines We Cross: The Oceanside group continues to train in case the Whisperers return
  2. We Are The End Of The World: The origin of Alpha and Beta’s bond is revealed as the Whisperers gather and prepare herds.
  3. Ghosts: The threat of the Whisperers return leads to paranoia sweeping over Alexandria
  4. Silence the Whisperers: Still paranoid Alexandrians get riled up over the Whisperers and take their fear out on Negan
  5. What It Always Is: Supplies go missing from Hilltop; Negan is idolized by an Alexandrian; Ezekiel holds a secret
  6. Bonds
  7. Open Your Eyes
  8. The World Before

The episode descriptions have always been relatively vague, but there’s some noteworthy details if these leaks are to be believed.

The second episode sounds like a potential flashback episode revolved around Alpha and Beta, while it appears Negan could become the new dangerous punching bag for frustrated Alexandrians.

There’s an Ezekiel secret which could reference the radio call at the end of season nine. Negan being idolised by an Alexandrian could also point to his growing connection with Judith.

Interestingly, there’s no mention of Michonne despite the fact actress Danai Gurira is leaving the show in season 10, unless her exit pans out in the latter half of the season.

A new trailer has also been released ahead of the show’s return, seeing Samantha Morton’s Alpha ominously embrace ‘the end of the world’.

If the doom and gloom is dragging you down, showrunner Angela Kang recently teased we’d be seeing a whole lot more from the ‘special bond’ between Carol and Daryl too.

The Walking Dead season 10 kicks off Sunday 6 October in the US, and returns on Fox Monday 7 October in the UK.

Katie Hopkins and her tweets are controversial at the best of times, but the former The Apprentice contestant has left fans of Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson outraged after a tweet she sent the star back in 2013 was aired during new BBC One documentary, Odd One Out.

As the documentary aired, which is about the relentless online trolling Jesy has experienced since finding fame on the X-Factor and joining Little Mix, Jesy Nelson’s boyfriend Chris Hughes hit out at Hopkins on Twitter calling her a ‘b***h’ and sending a middle finger emoji, but then deleted the message.

In response Hopkins hit back at Hughes tweeting, ‘Brilliant by Boyfriend of #OddOneOut #JesyNelson.

‘As the show aired on BBC One tonight, Chris tweeted Hopkins calling her a ‘b***h’ and sending a middle finger emoji. Not the sharpest tool in the shed are we dear?’

As fans’ outrage at Hopkins’ cruel jibe at Jesy from 2013 grew online, Hughes retorted, ‘I wasn’t lying’, prompting Hopkins to take a further swipe at his pop-star girlfriend saying: ‘No, my love. You are right. This is Twitter. And you were sharing your opinion to which you are perfectly entitled.

‘Unlike others, I accept that if you put yourself out there, not all the comments you receive will be positive.’

But what was the content of Hopkins’ original tweet about Jesy that has left fans of the singer so shocked?

What did Katie Hopkins tweet about Jesy Nelson?

In the new BBC One documentary, 28-year-old Jesy heartbreakingly reveals her battle with social media trolling and bravely shares that she attempted suicide due to the relentless online bullying she experienced.

In one scene, the documentary revisits a tweet sent by Hopkins after Jesy performed with Little Mix on the X-Factor in 2013.

Hopkins tweeted: ‘Packet Mix have still got a chubbier in their ranks. Less Little Mix. More Pick n Mix.’

Speaking about the Hopkins tweet, Jesy confessed on the show: ‘All I remember feeling at that time is, “what’s the f***ing point?”.

‘I’ve starved myself for a week and I’m still getting called fat. I could be the skinniest girl in the world and this is never going to go away.’

What you did and tweeted was despicable. But you have to live with yourself.. good luck [sic].’

Sharing a similar sentiment, another fan said: ‘I hope katie Hopkins is thoroughy ashamed of herself for fuelling what poor #jesynelson was going through. Although sadly KH was not alone in the attacks [sic].’

Roxanne Pallett believes she ‘deserved’ the backlash she received after wrongly accusing actor Ryan Thomas of punching her on Celebrity Big Brother last year.

In an appearance on Jeremy Vine on Friday, Roxanne said it was her decision to go on the show and could understand the hate she had after leaving the house.

She said: ‘It was right that I got that. It was right. I chose to go on that show. I put myself out there and I made a mistake in the public eye so I understand. I would have felt the same way.’

The former Emmerdale star also explained she had been in therapy for the past year to overcome her PTSD.

She went on: ‘I’ve had therapy for the last year and working on my PTSD. I got worse before I got better.

‘The two months that followed got a lot worse. I had to go through it.

‘It was the best worst thing to happen to me, it shook me out of the state I was in. I was a person I didn’t even like.

‘Everyone was entitled to feel and say what they felt because that was the person I was showing everybody.’

Host Jeremy Vine came to her defence, adding: ‘You have been treated as if you have killed eight people. You don’t even want to argue with [the public].

The actress replied: ‘There’s no point. Somebody told me when I came out, “The court of public opinion have ruled and they have ruled against you. The sooner you accept that the better.” I really appreciated that.’

Her latest appearance on Jeremy Vine came a year after she went on the same show to apologise to the ex Corrie star for what happened.

Roxanne has had support from people who saw her on the programme.

‘There are so many people that have reached out and said they saw themselves,’ she replied.

‘Reading those letters made me feel a bit more human. All I can do now is rebuild and be better today than I was yesterday.’

Kevin Clifton and Anneka Rice have provided an update from training for Strictly Come Dancing, teasing an assortment of bizarre moves.

After the pair posted a giddy video following their first day training, Kevin, 36, appears to have taught broadcaster Anneka, 60, all about the secret dancing lingo.

Asking what they’ve learned today on Instagram, Anneka replies: ‘Well there’s the egg. There’s the picking up the piece of old tissue that got caught on your shoulder.

‘Fat panda. That’s weird, but we know what we’re talking about. We don’t want to explain everything to everyone. We don’t want to give all our secrets away.’

Anneka also mentions the ‘balloon underwater’ and ‘scuffling the toes’, before adding: ‘So you might see a dance and think it’s straightforward, but there’s a lot going on mentally.’

We’ll take your word for it, Anneka.

It was recently revealed Kevin and Anneka will be tackling the Cha Cha Cha for their first dance in another clip from behind-the-scenes at training.

Kevin recently hit back on Twitter at claims he was ‘fuming’ over being paired with Anneka Rice, writing: ‘Oh it’s ridiculous I just laugh nowadays. As usual a completely made up story.’

Anneka will likely be feeling the pressure judging by Kevin’s track record on the show, having appeared in every year’s final since he joined in 2013, with the exception of 2017 when he was partnered with Susan Calman.

Strictly Come Dancing’s first live show kicks off on Saturday 21 September on BBC One.

Stephen Fry has revealed what keeps him motivated to stay fit following his recent six stone weight loss.

The 62-year-old said he is ‘feeling better’ since taking up walking and credited audiobooks with helping him to stay focused.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show, the actor said: ‘I was very overweight. 21 stone. I lost nearly six of those.

‘I’m feeling better. (I do) a lot of walking. I walk eight miles every morning. Fast. Just over four miles an hour.’

On what keeps him motivated, Stephen explained: ‘The secret of it, for me at least, is audio books and podcasts. Music is fine but you tend to, every ten yards or so, to think “no I don’t want to hear that.” You’re always adjusting your playlist.’

His weight loss came after he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

In an appearance on BBC Breakfast, he said he was ‘proud’ of himself for the way he fought back.

At the moment I’m happy, there is the vertical moment and the horizontal and at the moment I’m very happy, I’m happily married,’ he said.

‘I’ve lost a bit of weight so I’m feeling proud of myself.

‘I was overweight, I have lost five and a half stone. I was 21 stone nearly, in April I was that heavy.’

About how he managed to lose the weight, Stephen told the show: ‘I walk a lot and that helps my mood as well I find. ‘It’s not a guaranteed help for mental stress and anxiety or anything else but it does help me and it means I can listen to audio books as I walk, and podcasts, and you eat up the miles that way.

‘And talking of eating up, eating sensibly.’

The Jonathan Ross Show airs Saturday at 10.15pm on ITV.

Sharon Osbourne goes into detail about graphic facelift and now we feel a bit queasy

Sharon Osbourne has spoken about the graphic details about her new facelift – and it is fair to say, we have started to feel a bit queasy.

The 66-year-old appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on 11 September where she went into detail about the procedure she received five weeks ago, revealing that she had ‘tubes coming out of her head’.

She said: ‘He gave me a procedure where I didn’t have anaesthetic. You’ve got tubes coming out your head and these two rubber bowls the blood goes into.

‘You have that for five days, so you look amazing, you look really really good.’

Sounds pretty gruesome, but it definitely sounds worth the result.

Sharon also confessed that there is now ‘few good surgeons’ due to face lifts becoming more popular than ever before, and most people will get a ‘dud’ done due to so many people wanting a procedure.

‘It’s so popular now for men and women to get facelifts that there’s very few really good surgeons and there’s so many people wanting it done, odds are you’re going to get a dud,’ she admitted.

‘People’s bone structure, it just doesn’t… I think too a lot of people go in to change too much and then it just doesn’t work.’

This is the fourth facelift for the former X Factor judge, and she previously showed off the results of her new work on her show The Talk on 10 September.

‘It was five weeks today I had my operation and I had my neck done, my jowls gone.

‘Everything was just lifted up so it looks more refreshed.’

She previously had debuted a ‘new face’ back in 2016, ahead of her appearance on that year’s series of The X Factor, previously revealing that these cosmetic enhancements were like ‘servicing a car’.

The star also previously revealed in 2007 that she spent approximately £300 on cosmetic surgery.

Gemma Collins leads praise for Jesy Nelson after documentary airs

We called Jesy Nelson’s new doc Odd One Out ‘hard to watch,’ adding that ‘Jesy is extremely brave.’ And it seems Gemma Collins agrees.

Gemma is one of many celebrities full of praise for Jesy since the film, which details her experiences of cyberbullying, dropped this week.

In it the star goes into painful detail about the waves of abuse she’s received from trolls over her weight and appearance since finding fame.

Trust us, it’s painful but inspiring.

And leading the charge of celeb reactions is Gemma Collins.

The reality TV veteran said on her Instagram Stories: ‘@JesyNelson [heart emoji] you your [sic] so beautiful’, while sharing a picture of Jesy on screen.

We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.

And Gemma wasn’t the only one.

Joining the Towie star with supportive feedback was former X Factor judge Tulisa.

The Young singer – who mentored Jesy to success with Little Mix on the 2011 series of the show – penned a letter to Jesy imploring her to ‘rise above the dark times.’

She added: ‘Dear Jesy. What a brave, beautiful, talented and loved girl you are.’

Amen to that!

Meanwhile I’m a Celeb star Emily Atack said: ‘Jesy Nelson’s ‘Odd One Out’ – show it in schools, tell your mates, watch it. Let’s knock this s**t on the head.’

Meanwhile Charlotte Crosby added: ‘Jesy nelson is a brave beautiful women. But sadly she’s not the only one who falls victim to the abuse from troll accounts with no identities. This has gone on for too long now. SORT IT OUT SOCIAL MEDIA WORLD.’

Of course, not everyone is being supportive about the doc.

Katie Hopkins – whose historic tweet about Jesy (‘Packet Mix have still got a chubber in their ranks. Less Little Mix. More Pick n Mix’) was singled out on the doc by Jesy as particularly hurtful, was branded a ‘b**ch’ by Jesy’s boyfriend Chris Hughes in a since-deleted tweet. Goading him, the former Apprentice contestant replied: ‘No the sharpest tool in the shed are we dear?’

Odd One Out is available to watch on BBC iPlayer now.

Along with band mates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy is known for hits like Black Magic, Shout Out To My Ex and Touch.

Shane Gillis, a new cast member on Saturday Night Live, has apologised for past racist jokes.

Shane was revealed as one of three new additions to SNL on Thursday.

Footage of the comic making the offensive comments resurfaced on social media immediately after.

In the first clip, Gillis makes anti-Asian remarks such as ‘ch*nks’ to his podcast co-host Matt McCusker, while adding: ‘Chinatown’s f***ing nuts.’

WARNING: The below videos contain racist and offensive language.

The episode of Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast in question was recorded in 26 September 2018, according to Variety. It also features the pair imitating Asian accents and mocking Asian people and Chinese food.

Other footage shows Gillis making sexist, Islamophobic and homophobic comments, such as ‘f****t’.

Taking to Twitter, Shane said: ‘I’m a comedian who pushes boundaries. I sometimes miss.

‘If you go through my 10 years of comedy, most of it bad, you’re going to find a lot of bad misses.’

He furthermore added: ‘I’m happy to apologise to anyone who’s actually offended by anything I’ve said.

‘My intention is never to hurt anyone but I am trying to be the best comedian I can be and sometimes that requires risks.’

Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang were also revealed as new cast members of the hit US TV show on Thursday.

Yang, who is Chinese American, is said to be SNL’s first Asian cast member.

SNL did not immediately respond to Metro when approached for comment.

83-year-old cougar grandmother who has casual sex with younger men is happy being called ‘dirty old git’

Grandmother Hattie Retroage who sleeps with younger men on Tinder is happy being branded a ‘dirty old git’.

The 83-year-old appeared on This Morning opposite hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, where she revealed how a trip to a steam room when she was younger transformed her outlook on life.

‘I hated the concept of age,’ Hattie said. ‘I don’t hate growing old now because I changed the concept with the word Retroage.

‘What happened was, I was a little kid and my mum took me to a steam room in Brighton Beach in Brooklyn and I saw all these old ladies and I was looking up at them and I was like, “oh my god if that’s old people I don’t want to ever be old”.

Grandmother on This Morning

‘So the positivity grew out of the negativity. When I knew I would become old, I said I’m not going to look like one of those steam room ladies, and I don’t!’

Hattie was married for 25 years and had ‘wonderful sex’ with her ex husband, but after the split, she has decided to ‘date like a man’ in her pursuits for the one.

‘I would love to have one man,’ Hattie said. ‘I was married for 25 years and we had wonderful sex, we were in love with each other. But when the children went off to college, the whole dynamic changed.

‘I just thought I’d go out into the world and meet another man, and then have great sex for the rest of my life. What happened was I didn’t meet one man, I’d meet somebody, go out with them, sleep with them, and they were gone.

‘This happened a lot and it actually got me depressed. So I decided I’m going to date like a man, I will date several men. If one of them along the way says I want to be with you and I love you, that would be the greatest thing I could hear.’

The youngest man she has been with was aged 19, although she insists she believed he was older.

Hattie is currently dating Shaun, 33, making him 50 years her junior.

Asked how she’d feel about being called a ‘dirty old git’ like men her age doing the same, Hattie said: ‘That’s okay. Call me a dirty old anything.

‘You see who I am and I’m fine with that honey.’

Saturday Night Live star Shane Gillis has made a statement after it was revealed that he has used racial slurs in the past in an attempt at being funny.

After his signing to the US sketch show was announced, journalist Seth Simons unearthed an old clip of Shane and Matt McCusker speaking on their podcast, called Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast.

In an episode, released in 2018, he made the comment: ‘Chinatown’s f*****g nuts’.

Co-host Matt said: ‘I wonder how that started, they just built one f****d-up looking building and everyone was like, “Well no one’s said anything.”‘

Shane added: ‘Let the f*****g ch**ks live there.’

According to Vulture, in a further episode they discuss ‘white f**got comics’.

Shane has released a statement on social media, calling the remarks ‘bad misses’.

It was a rather backhanded apology though, as he added that he needs to ‘take risks’ to ‘be the best comedian I can be’.

He posted on Twitter: ‘I’m a comedian who pushes boundaries. I sometimes miss. If you go through my 10 years of comedy, most of it bad, you’re going to find a lot of bad misses.

‘I’m happy to apologise to anyone who’s actually offended by anything I’ve said.

‘My intention is never to hurt anyone but I am trying to be the best comedian I can be and sometimes that requires risk.’

Gillis is one of three comedians to be signed by Saturday Night Live alongside Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang. Bowen is the show’s only Asian American series regular.

It comes after it was announced that actress Leslie Jones will be leaving the sketch show to host US reboot of Supermarket Sweep.
