Shirley has considered getting her breast implants removed (Picture: BBC)
Shirley Ballas is considering removing her breast implants after fearing they could prevent her getting accurate mammogram readings.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge has been forced to reconsider her plastic surgery enhancements after discovering a history of cancer in her family while filming Who Do You Think You Are?
Now, the 59-year-old has been left pondering whether she wants to keep them in or if she should return to her former breast size.
‘I’ve had breast augmentation. It makes me take a step back and think when you go for these mammograms,’ she explained to Sunday Times.
’Can you see at the back? Is it clear what you can see? It’s making me sit back and think, “Shall I remove them? Would it be a good safety precaution for me?”’
Shirley’s fears increased after her mother Audrey, 81, was also diagnosed with cancer, and she’s now an advocate for MacMillan Cancer Research.
Shirley worries the implants could have an effect on clear mammogram readings (Picture: Rex)
Studies have shown that while breast augmentation surgery does slightly effect the accuracy of the mammograms, the warning signs of breast cancer are not influenced.
Shirley’s consideration to have her implants removed come as Strictly contestant Michelle Visage decided to get hers taken out after 20 years.
Fearing they were making her sick with an increased speculation about breast implant illness, Michelle went back to her original chest size in February.
Both Michelle and Shirley are now gearing up for the first Strictly live show, with Michelle performing her first dance of the competition this Saturday.
She’ll be going head-to-head with 14 other celebrities, while Shirley will be marking their efforts from the judging panel.
While noone will be eliminated in week one, after that it’s a case of may the best dancer win with stars booted weekly from the show.

Not your average ballroom dancer guys… (Picture: Instagram)
Strictly Come Dancing’s Kevin Clifton has shared an epic throwback to his goth days and admits he still thinks about going back to it.
The reigning champion of the BBC dancefloor looks unrecognisable with long jet black hair and eyeliner in the snaps, in one case adding a Slash-inspired top hat to really complete the look.
My Chemical Romance, eat your heart out.
He wrote alongside it: ‘Me in my pre [Strictly] goth days. Every now and again I feel like going back to it. Often when I feel insecure.
‘What do u think? Go back to it? Leave it alone? A wicked look? Or a case of hiding behind an image maybe?’
Well…seeing as he tours the country as troubled hair-rocker Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages, we reckon he’s managed to get the best of both worlds!
His throwback comes after he admitted on Strictly: The Professionals that he was turned down twice for the show before finally being hired by the BBC team.
Joking that he looked like a ‘goth scarecrow’ he was seen telling fellow pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec: ‘I applied with [ex-wife] Karen.
‘She got the job, I didn’t get it. I had long black hair, eyeliner, black fingernails…’
He then mocked himself and added: ‘Don’t think that I’m your average ballroom dancer guys!’
‘They said, “Yeah we’d love to take Karen. But not that guy – we have no need for this gothic scarecrow who thinks he’s the rock star of the ballroom.”’
Kevin is now partnered with Anneka for this year’s series (Picture: BBC)
He later went on to reveal that he helped film the trailer for a series, but was ‘rubbed out’ as he donned a morphsuit so the women looked like they were performing with an invisible man.
Thankfully after that, he was offered a spot.
Now he has his work cut out for him to hold on to the coveted glitterball trophy after winning last year with now-girlfriend Stacey Dooley.
Pairing up with Anneka Rice this season, Kevin will take to the dancefloor for the first time with his new partner this Saturday.
While no one will be eliminated in this first live show, after that he’s got to fight for his spot.
Can he make it a double win?

She isn’t backing away from Strictly life yet either, taking hosting duties on the Strictly 2020 live tour following past hosts Ore Oduba, Anita Rani, and Mel Giedroyc.
The tour will kick off in Birmingham on 16 January, visiting Aberdeen, Leeds, Manchester, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, and Nottingham, before wrapping up at London’s O2 Arena.

For the first time ever, there will also be a special ‘relaxed performance’ in association with the National Autistic Society at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham.
Speaking about joining the tour, Stacey said: ‘I’m so excited to be joining the Strictly gang again and can’t wait to experience it from a different perspective!
‘I’m really looking forward to hosting the tour as I know it’ll be a blast. I had such an amazing time last year, I hope I’ll find a way to get those dancing shoes back on again too!’
There’s already been drama before this year’s show has even properly kicked off, with Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing forced to leave the competition after injuring his foot.
Sinead O’Connor has alleged that the late singer Prince tried to ‘beat her up’ in a ‘frightening’ incident at his home.
The 52-year-old singer claimed she was forced to ‘defend herself’ when the singer turned violent after demanding that she stopped swearing in interviews.
Sinead, who recorded his song Nothing Compares 2 U in 1990, was chased by him in his car and ‘spat at’ him to get away. She ended up knocking on a stranger’s door to escape him.
In an interview on Good Morning Britain today, she said: ‘We met once but we didn’t get on very well, we tried to beat each other up.
‘We didn’t get on too well. Well it was more that he was trying to beat me up and I was defending myself. It was a very frightening experience.
‘He summoned me to his house in Los Angeles one night and I foolishly went along not knowing where I was. He summoned me because he was uncomfortable with the fact that I wasn’t a protégé of his as I had just recorded the song and he was wanting me to be a protégé of his, and he ordered that I don’t swear anymore in my interviews.

‘And Irish people swear all the time so I told him where he could go and he went for me.’
She went on: ‘Then he went upstairs and got a pillow and had something hard in the pillow and he was chasing me.
‘I ran out of his house and he came after me in his car, we met on the highway in Malibu at 5am, he was going around in his car and I was spitting at him and he was trying to hit me.’

Prince died in 2016 aged 57 after an accidental Fentanyl overdose.
On Monday’s show Sinead performed the much-loved song, explaining that she gets to spend time with her late mother whenever she sings it.
She told hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: ‘I always get to spend time with my mother when I sing that song, I just close my eyes and think of her.
‘She probably does make something of it, I’d say she’d be very proud.’

Jeremy Clarkson has never been one to bite his tongue and so declaring all the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire contestants ‘Dumb Britain’ is just another day in the office for him.
To be fair though, Sunday night’s episode of the fan favourite quiz show left viewers at home just as baffled after none of the hopefuls managed to get higher than £4000.
Typically each episode is dedicated to just one person’s efforts to get as much money as they can thanks to their general knowledge.
Jeremy Clarkson declared the show ‘Dumb Britain’ (Picture: ITv)
However, Jeremy managed to went through four, with Jeremy getting visibly annoyed as more and more people sat in the chair opposite him.
Martin was first up, winning just a £1000 after getting a maths question wrong and blowing a lifeline before even getting to the first freeze point (which is the £1000) mark.
Sarah was next, also bagging £1000 after also failing a question on maths.
Contestant number three, Jodie, had a bit more luck, getting to £4000 before deciding to leave with the money.
(As it turns out, it was the right decision and if she went with her guts choice she would’ve gone home with just £1000 too).
Four contestants tried and failed to get far on the show (Picture: ITV)
Jamie, contestant number four, also failed a maths question and we’re beginning to think some people need a bit of a booster class in a certain subject.
Failing to know how many inches there are in a metre, guessing 43in instead of the correct 39in.
Jeremy then gives up, muttered ‘kill me’ and then later turned to the camera and declaried: ‘Right it’s time to take a break, join us in a few moments for the final part of Dumb Britain.’
Thankfully the show ended on a slightly higher note as Dorothy Reid managed to get to £16,000 before the end the klaxon marked the end of the episode.
By the time she took on the seat, she was one of two remaining potential contestants.
Can she make it to the million? Or at least to the next safety net point?
Who Wants to Be A Millionaire continues Saturday at 8pm on ITV.

Leaving Neverland won an Emmy for outstanding documentary (Picture: Channel 4)
The Michael Jackson estate has expressed their outrage after Leaving Neverland, the documentary accusing him of child sex abuse, won a Creative Arts Emmy for outstanding documentary.
Leaving Neverland, which aired on HBO and Channel 4 earlier this year, detailed claims from Wade Robson and James Safechuck that Jackson molested them when they were young boys.
Jackson, who died in June 2009, was acquitted of child molestation in 2005 and his family have vehemently denied the allegations against him.
Over the weekend, Leaving Neverland beat off competition to win outstanding documentary but Jackson’s estate think it was undeserved.
In a statement released to Entertainment Tonight, the estate said: ‘For a film that is a complete fiction to be honored in a nonfiction Emmy category is a complete farce.
‘Not one shred of proof supports this completely one-sided, so-called documentary which was made in secrecy and for which not one person outside of the two subjects and their families were interviewed.’
But director Dan Reed said he feels the Emmy ‘validates’ the documentary which he admits has been ‘so controversial’.

Reed thanked Robson and Safechuck for coming forward (Picture: AP, Invision)
In his acceptance speech, Dan thanked Robson and Safechuck for coming forward with their stories.
Speaking to ET, the filmmaker added: ‘We thought it would make some noise, but we kind of thought people would go, “Oh yeah, it’s another film about the allegations against Michael Jackson”. But this has been taking us completely unawares.
‘It’s been a tsunami of love, of hatred, of attention and noise, of thoughtful critical reaction and unthinking reaction. It’s been a journey into the heart of the world media.’

The final season of Game of Thrones has won multiple Emmys already (Picture: Rex)
Game of Thrones has dominated the Emmys this year with an impressive number of wins so far – and we haven’t even had the main awards ceremony yet.
The main Emmy Awards, with the red carpet, glam outfits and all the pomp and circumstance of a Hollywood royalty event takes place next weekend, on Sunday September 22. However before the annual Emmy Awards, there is always another event, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which honours technical and other production achievements behind the most popular shows on TV.
The Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place over the weekend in Los Angeles and it was here that the controversial final season of Game of Thrones dominated the award wins like Daenerys Targaryen taking King’s Landing.
While season 8 of Game of Thrones might have divided fans, with the petition to have it remade garnering over 1.7 million signatures so far, the judges for the Emmys appear much more united in their appreciation for the final installment of the show, awarding it the most wins at the Emmys so far.
How many awards did Game of Thrones win at the Creative Arts Emmys?
Game of Thrones is nominated for 32 Emmys in total, including the coveted Best Drama Series award. Stars Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke are nominated for the lead actor and actress in a drama series Emmys respectively and their cast mates Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams are all nominated for their supporting roles in the series.
We won’t find out if Games of Thrones will take home any of these Emmys until the main awards show on Sunday 22, however what we do know so far is that the show cleaned up when it came to winning Emmys for its production value.

Last night, GoT took home an impressive 10 Emmy awards, all for its brilliant production quality and casting. The awards won by the show included gongs for their costumes, makeup and visual effects.
The full list of Emmys taken home by Game of Thrones last night is as follows:
Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama series
Outstanding Special Visual Effects
Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes
Outstanding Makeup for a Single-Camera Series
Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Drama Series, Limited Series or Movie
Outstanding Main Title Design
Outstanding Music Composition for a Series
Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series
Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series
Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series
Quite the trophy cabinet of awards for GoT and we’ll only have a week to wait before we find out if the show will take home any more Emmys for their final season.
Game of Thrones has been nominated for a staggering 160 Emmys and won 57 since the first season hit our screens in 2011.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had her medical worries aired on the TV series, after she was seen experiencing pain in her hands and arms.
Thankfully, while there’s no denying she has some series joint pain, the doctors said it was actually psoriatic arthritis, a type arthritis caused by psoriasis.
As a result, her joints are affected, causing them to become swollen, stiff and painful.
After the ultrasound on her hands, the doctor told her: ‘First of all, if you have any evidence for lupus, we would have screened it.
‘You do not have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. So, you can be reassured. You probably have psoriatic arthritis because psoriasis comes and goes.
‘There’s nothing there right now.’
Kim’s relief was evident and she declared that she could handle a condition that comes and goes after fearing she could have had lupus – an autoimmune disease which attacks your healthy tissue.
She’s now on medication to help the ailment.
Speaking with ET Online about the issue, Kim explained: ‘When you do have a diagnosis — or you get tested for something and you get a result that you weren’t expecting — you definitely get in your head and for a second you kind of get this little depression of, like, “OK, what are all of the possibilities that can happen? What’s my life gonna look like?”
‘I really wanna be active for my kids, and so it triggers something.’
She then added: ‘No matter what’s going on in your life, you can take that time to grieve for a second… and then figure out how to be positive about it because it’s not going to change.
‘There’s no point in being depressed and staying in that head space, but I felt it for a minute.’
Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs on HayU in the UK.

Game of Thrones’ final season has already won 10 Emmy Awards (Picture: HBO)
Game of Thrones has already won 10 Creative Arts Emmys for its final season, despite fans being so gutted with it that almost 2 million of them signed a petition calling for the series to be rewritten.
After a coffee cup and some questionable writing tarnished the show’s legacy for good, D.B Weiss and David Benioff went into hiding, refusing to address the Game of Thrones backlash. Regardless, they’re laughing anyway because the biggest disappointment in television has won 10 Emmy Awards, including one for episode The Long Night – the instalment so dark fans couldn’t actually see what was going on.
The main ceremony takes place this Sunday September 22 where the fantasy epic will almost certainly add another handful of trophies to its collection after racking up a record-breaking 32 nominations, including nods for Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) for best lead actor and actress respectively, while most of the ensemble have been recognised in the supporting categories – even if some of them had to submit themselves for the honour.
Sky and HBO’s triumph Chernobyl, which immediately became the highest-rated series on IMDB after its release this year, also swept up with seven wins. The drama which followed the real-life 1986 disaster is also expected to pick up more come Sunday.
The Game of Thrones cast will be reuniting this weekend to present an award, with Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Carice van Houten (Melisandre), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) coming together for the bash.
The Game of Thrones episode no one could see won five Emmy Awards (Picture: HBO)
For the first time since 2003, the Emmy Awards will take place without a host so the ceremony can pay tribute to the shows which came to an end over the past 12 months, including Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory and Empire.
The Emmy Awards take place this Sunday at The Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles. Game of Thrones seasons one to eight are available to stream on NOW TV.

Ash has actually done it! (Picture: The Pokemon Company)
Pokémon trainer Ash Ketchum has finally become the very best, like no one ever was.
After kicking off his journey to become a Pokémon Master way back in 1997, Ash has won the Regional Pokémon League in the Pokémon Sun & Moon run of the anime series.
This is the first time he’s won the main tournament in the anime, with the latest episode aired in Japan seeing Ash triumph over Gladion to win the Alola Region Pokémon League.
Ash has previously won tournaments like the Orange Island Challenge and Battle Frontier, but they aren’t as prestigious as the traditional regional competitions – which he has failed to win countless times across the show.

The news has unsurprisingly caused much jubilance across the community, with Veronica Taylor, who voiced the original English version of Ash in the anime’s first eight seasons, even writing a commemorative post.
Posting on Twitter, Veronica wrote: ‘Congratulations to Ash Ketchum on winning the Pokémon League from Ash’s “younger” self, circa 1998… yup, hard work, determination, good friends, and a bit of luck pay off!’

Cristiano Ronaldo gets emotional as he speaks about how he has tried to protect his children after he was accused of rape.
The Juventus player, 34, has always denied the accusation and in June the lawsuit against him was dropped when model Kathryn Mayorga withdrew her allegation.
In an upcoming interview Ronaldo becomes incredibly animated while talking about the moment his young son Cristiano Jr nearly saw news footage of the allegations.
He says: ‘They play with your dignity, it’s hard.
‘You have a girlfriend, you have a family, you have a kids. When they play with your honesty it’s bad, it’s hard.
‘I remember one day I was at home in the living room with my girlfriend watching television, we see the news and they speak about “Cristiano Ronaldo…this and that”, and you listen your kids coming down the stairs, and you change the channel because I was embarrassed.
‘I feel embarrassed. I just change the channel. For Cristiano to don’t see that they speak bad about his father, it became a very bad case. Makes me feel so bad.’
Cristiano is dad to Cristiano Jr, eight, Alana, one, and two-year-old twins Eva Maria and Mateo.
His comments come in a revealing interview with Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan.
He is also reduced to tears by a clip from an interview with his late father Dinis, who died of alcoholism in 2004.

He explained he was sad his father never lived to see his success (Picture: ITV)
Through floods of tears, he explains to Piers: ‘I think the interview would be funny, but I didn’t expect to cry.
‘But I really don’t know my father 100%. He was a drunk person. I never spoke with him, like a normal conversation. It was hard.’

In an emotional Instagram post, the 27-year-old asked that people ‘please, please’ try to use the correct pronoun when referring to them.
Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan is going to have to really work at it, as he tried to get his head around Sam’s announcement on Monday’s show.
He reckoned they made the announcement because the ‘splurge of publicity’ would be beneficial.
Piers said: ‘If 10% of the population decide they are not going to identify as male or female, where does that leave the demographic make up of this country going forward?
‘It raises genuinely interesting questions. At the music awards are they all gonna have to be gender neutral because Sam Smith can’t decide which one to enter?’
Sam Smith wants to be known as ‘they’ or ‘them’ (Picture: AP)
Hinting that the publicity helped the singer, he went on: ‘Young people will feel anything if you encourage them to and they will do anything to feel different, or anything that feels like a trend or a fad or a craze.
‘I’d love to interview Sam Smith and ask [them], 18 months ago you were equally emphatic that you were a gay man, what changed?
‘Why suddenly are you, 18 months later on a new splurge of publicity which will not be unhelpful to him with his new album out. Am I being to cynical to suggest that this might just be about getting publicity. I don’t know.’
Sam explained the decision behind their preferred pronouns comes from ‘a lifetime of being at war with my gender’.
They wrote: ‘After a lifetime of being at war with my gender, I’ve decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out. I’m so excited and privileged to be surrounded by people that support me in this decision but I’ve been very nervous about announcing this because I care too much about what people think but f**k it!
‘I understand there will be many mistakes and misgendering but all I ask is you please, please try. I hope you can see me like I see myself now. Thank you.
‘‘I am at no stage just yet to eloquently speak at length about what it means to be non binary but I can’t wait for the day that I am. So for now I just want to be VISIBLE and open.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.

A serial rapist dubbed The Beast Of Kavos was confronted on This Morning after he was released back onto the streets of Greece – and is now ‘being protected’ by locals.
Dimitris Aspiotis is now working in a bar in a popular strip for tourists, after completing just seven years of his 52-year sentence for rape, robbery and assault on seven women.
In a 46-day rampage in 2010, after already being arrested, convicted and released for three previous rapes, Aspiotis raped four more women, being slapped with the 52 year sentence as a result.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield sat horrified as one of his victims, Kayleigh Morgan, bravely waived her anonymity to talk to them about being raped repeatedly a knife point after Aspiotis dragged her into the woods and smashed up her phone.
She was only released when locals realised he was missing, and contacted him to let her go under the assumption he was raping someone.
But just seven years, later, he is back in the same area in which he made the attacks, continuing to be known around the area and working as usual.
Due to Greek law, they are not allegedly not allowed to turn his custom away from the bars, leaving business owners ‘powerless’ against him.
Kayleigh spoke publicly about her rapist who is back walking the streets of Kavos (Picture: ITV)
Flying someone over to the holiday resort, This Morning’s producers confronted Aspiotis head on, finding him at the bar he works at.
Eventually, they managed to catch him on camera, and the man viciously swiped the camera away before running into the staff area of the bar as producer David requested an apology or remorse for what he did.
He refused to comment on anything said by the team.
The British Embassy in Athens, the British Consulate in Korfu and local authorities in Kavos all refused to comment to This Morning.
‘Don’t. Don’t do it. He’s been released under this new law. They’re bothered about their tourism, or they claim that they’re bothered about their tourism, but how can they be when they let a rapist on the loose again to attack more women?,’ Kayleigh warned about heading to the island.
‘A notorious rapist and the locals are protecting him. So if you go on holiday there, if anything happens to you.
‘The locals don’t have your back, the government doesn’t have your back. the police don’t have your back.’
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.

Even losing out on an Emmy Award couldn’t wipe the smile off Jim Parson’s face (Picture: Instagram/Jim Parsons)
Jim Parsons was still beaming as his Netflix series Special missed out on a Creative Arts Emmy Award last night, losing to State Of The Union in the gong for Outstanding Short From Comedy/Drama series.
State of The Union stars Chris O’Dowd and Rosmaund Pike as a couple who meet in a pub before their relationship counselling session, and was initially snubbed by the Emmy Awards before eventually picking up three trophies including prizes for its two leads.
The 10-part drama managed to squeeze its way into the shortlist at the last minute as AMC’s Better Call Saul Employee Training: Madrigal Electromotive was found to be illegible for the awards.
And that turned out to be bad news for Jim, who produced the stunning drama Special, a semi-autobiographical account from Will & Grave writer Ryan O’Connell and his experience as a gay man living with cerebral palsy.
Posing from his seat at last night’s bash, which saw Game of Thrones dominate with 10 wins ahead of the main ceremony where its divisive final season is expected to pick up even more golden statues, Jim shared a picture with Ryan alongside the caption: ‘We didn’t win… we’re still happy to be here…! #emmys2019 @specialnetflix@ryanoconn @bigpunam#jessicahecht.’
The Big Bang Theory star ties the record for the most Emmy wins for Best Actor in a Comedy series for his role as Sheldon Cooper, but the entire cast of the CBS sitcom were snubbed for their last ever season, which went down as well as you can imagine with fans.

Special missed out on an Emmy Award (Picture: Netflix)
The final episode, The Stockholm Syndrome, has been recognised in the Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series category, but CBS president Kelly Khal has said the comedy ‘deserved more respect’.
However, it’s thought The Big Bang Theory will be commemorated with a special tribute during the ceremony with the cast likely to reunite on the red carpet for the first time since we closed the Big Bang book for good last May.
The Emmy Awards take place this Sunday at the Microsoft Theatre, Los Angeles. Special is available to stream on Netflix now.

Treasure Island With Bear Grylls saw a contestant mysteriously drop out early off-screen, leaving many viewers slightly perplexed.
The new Channel 4 series is a spin-off from Bear’s The Island series, seeing 12 castaways fighting to survive on a remote uninhabited island in the Pacific while collecting cash prizes.
At the end of the latest episode, the customary preview for the next instalment ended with a message revealing contestant Ruby had left the show after feeling homesick.
The message read: ‘Homesick and unable to cope with the conditions, 20 year old waitress Ruby left the island after five days.’
Ruby left the show (Picture: Channel 4)
It was especially bizarre considering contestants are usually filmed leaving the island, although it’s unclear whether this will be shown in next week’s episode.
Either way, the announcement left some chasing Google to remember who Ruby actually was.
So how do you stand out on Treasure Island? Maybe just drink some urine like Ben.
Ruby has recently spoken out about why she left the show early (via BradfordZone), saying: ‘It’s the biggest regret I’ve ever had in my life.
‘Some people might call this an excuse or whatever, but at the time me and my boyfriend had just got keys to our first home. I just thought how I was missing out on an important part of our life together for just a few weeks on the island.
‘It didn’t sit well with me and it were kind of breaking my heart. Once I’d got that into my head, it just kind of consumed me.’
She added: ‘I massively, massively, regretted leaving. But it’s nothing I can change now, but I will always beat myself up over it.’
Treasure Island with Bear Grylls continues next Sunday Channel 4 at 9pm.
Grease’s Didi Conn has revealed the backstage antics of musical Grease was getting seriously PG…pass it on.
The actress, who played bubblegum pink-haired Frenchie in the much-loved show, appeared on This Morning and remembered her life on the show.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, she said: ‘In the movie we said we’ll always be together – and we made friends that lasted 40 years! It’s crazy.’
Revealing the whole cast would remain in character while on the set, Didi explained: ‘Actually, we all were a tad older than the characters we were playing, some even more than the twenties. So as soon as we got into the make-up chair, I was Frenchy, there was Rizzo.’
She then cheekily added: ‘It gave us the licence to be as young and horny and, you know, spontaneous – and we would stay in character all day long, which was great, because then you could just have fun.’
Phillip then couldn’t help himself and quizzed just how horny the cast would actually get – leaving Didi giggling as she remembered her late friend Jeff Conaway, who played Kenickie.

‘Aw, bless our Kenickies’ heart – his trailer was rocking and rolling all day long!,’ she giggled, with Phillip and Holly cracking up at the moment.
Hey, a hickey from Kenickie is like a Hallmark card, after all!
‘Boy, there was a reason he was a heartthrob. He made my heart throb!,’ she joked.

The cast definitely weren’t teens living under their parents’ roofs when they starred in Grease – Didi was 25 years old, John Travolta was 23 playing Danny Zuko, and Rizzo was played by 33-year-old Stockard Channing.
Laughing about the obvious age of Rizzo in particular, Didi said: ‘I think they got away with it because Stockard is such a great actress.
‘I don’t know why, but the tougher kids in my high school in New York, they all looked older. Maybe because they were held back a lot.
‘So I think she got away with it, because she was a senior and she was gonna rule the school.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.

Did Will Byers accidentally create the Upside Down? (Picture: Netflix)
Will Byers’ connection to the Upside Down in Stranger Things has been almost impossible to break over the past three seasons…but is it possible that it was a hell of his own creation?
One fan certainly seems to think so – and this theory is definitely something that’s been well thought out.
Reddit user Bloodylollipops came up with the theory, and in a detailed explanation, she explained that she thinks that troubled Will (Noah Schnapp) subconsciously created the Upside Down.
She wrote: ‘There’s the common theory that our universe has infinite dimensions and alternate universes. But in the show so far, we only know that there is one other dimension, and it’s only of Hawkins.
‘Joyce Byers grew up in Hawkins and raised her two boys there as well. Hawkins is all that Will really knows. Will is also very artistic and creates stories. He could’ve very well created a version of the Upside Down and drawn it, written about it.’
The fan then suggests that these pictures and stories came to life as the result of Will being tested on by the Hawkins Lab – the same lab that held Eleven captive, testing on her and giving her telekinetic powers.
She reckons this is why Will was targeted – because he was one of them, and created alternate worlds – and that Joyce’s husband allowed him to be tested behind the over-protective mum’s back in order to get money when it was desperate.
Will has been struggling with the pains of growing up (Picture: Rex)
‘In season one, Will is in the Upside Down almost the entire time,’ they explained. ‘Why wasn’t he killed right away like every other person who has encountered the demogorgon? (Other than eleven, but she has powers. Which kinda proves my theory even more).
‘In the first episode when he leaves Mike’s house, you see the light flicker, showing that the monster is close. Why didn’t he go after Mike instead? He was, in fact, closer than Will and wasn’t riding away in the opposite direction.’
They go on to add that things are made worse, and his connection to the Upside Down grows, when he’s under stress, like being bullied or on the anniversary of his time within the Upside Down.
It’s also why Will is so strongly bonded, and why the monsters are so similar to, the Dungeons and Dragons game he played with the boys.
Not a bad theory, but what does that mean for him now that he’s left Indiana with his mum, brother and Elle?
Guess we’ll have to wait until season four to find out – but it’s not a bad explanation as to why he always seems to be centre of the sci-fi trouble.
Stranger Things is available now on Netflix.

Piers Morgan had had enough of sitting on the sidelines watching Laura Tobin deliver the weather on Good Morning Britain, and spontaneously decided to step in and do it himself.
Viewers genuinely wondering if they would need an umbrella or not today were left wanting as Laura was kicked off her set with Piers taking up her place – using her clicker and all.
Laura was left to take her place at her desk and look on bemused as the presenter tried to do her job with no help from the master.
The host clicked his way through that day’s weather images while declaring that we would be blessed with sunshine.
While Piers’ promise of good weather ‘all week’ was nice to hear, it wasn’t entirely accurate.
Here’s what she gets paid to do. It’s gonna be great all week in most places. That’s it. It’s gonna be lovely.
‘I’d like to see some images, thank you,’ Laura said, before adding: ‘Not as easy as it looks, is it?’

An amused Laura watched on (Picture: ITV)
Managing to change the image again, he reeled off: ‘Cloudy in the South, brighter in the North, cooler. Bit of rain in the middle. It’s all fine, look.’
There was a bit of a challenge when he was tasked with explaining an image of the North Atlantic ocean.
Piers explained it as: ‘A swirl of rain somewhere out in the ocean, so completely irrelevant to everywhere else, right?’
When Laura informed him that there is a hurricane headed towards Bermuda, Piers said: ‘That’s nothing to do with the weather in this country which is what people are tuning in for.
‘The bottom line is, it’s gonna be great all week.’
We don’t think Laura needs to be too worried about her job…
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.

They’ve even bust a sniper out of an asylum, which may not prove to be the wisest move, and it’s unlikely that the series will end with the whole gang in tact.
After a gamechanging few months for the Birmingham boys, there’s a lot that can go wrong – and this series has definitely put a few people up for a potential grisly end.
Here’s everyone who could potentially meet their making in the bloodthirsty season finale of the gangster favourite…
**Warning: Spoilers of season 5 so far starting from….now***
Is Arthur about to go too far? (Picture: Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019)
Arthur Shelby (Paul Anderson)
This is the one that’s going to hurt the most, as a firm fan favourite and an essential member of the squad.
But even the biggest fan can’t ignore the fact that Arthur is a complete live wire, and he’s become a danger unto himself over the past few episodes.
So far, he’s been one lucky man, but his actual will to live has been waning, particularly after Linda left him, and he’s losing his grip on his sanity and his anger more every day.
There’s only so much longer before that luck runs out.
Michael certainly wants power, but at what cost? (Picture: Caryn Mandabach Productions Ltd. 2019)
Michael Gray (Finn Cole)
Michael has been shoved into the background this season, after royally messing up in the Stock Market Crash and losing the family thousands.
That’s on top of being set into exile anyway, and then he found himself kidnapped by the IRA on his way back to Boston to boot.
Now, we know his new wife Gina (Anya Taylor-Joy) is connected somehow to Oswald Mosley, but he doesn’t know that – and he keeps feeding her information on the Blinders’ plans.
Micheal is a man who thinks he’s capable of more than he actually is – and after not exactly doing much to try and win back Tommy’s trust, he’s not got many allies.
If Gina decides to double cross him and expose herself, then he could pay for his arrogance with his life.
Could Aberama be done for? (Picture: BBC)
Aberama Gold (Aidan Gillan)
This is another death that could break hearts if it was to ever come to be – not the least of which Polly’s (Helen McCrory) who he’s just got engaged to.
While it may have been part of a business deal, it’s clear that the two actually do have feelings for each other – and might even love each other.
His vengeance mission, if not thought through properly, could be his undoing.
We don’t want to see it, but it’s for sure a possibility.
Has Finn bitten off more than he can chew? (Picture: BBC)
Finn Shelby (Harry Kirton)
Something’s been going on with Finn, and we have a sneaking suspicion it’s related to that white powder he keeps shoving up his nose.
Desperate to prove himself to his brothers after years as ‘the one they forgot about’, Finn is setting himself up as a powerhouse in the family business.
Except when it comes to the violence and shadier side, he just doesn’t quite match up, and he knows it.
Finn is out of his depth if he wants to play a part in taking down politician Mosley, and his quest for acceptance might be cut short if his foresight doesn’t get better.
After all, he already got himself a bullet in his shoulder at the beginning of the season for being a bit too impulsive for his own good.
Has Isiah’s dedication to the team run its course? (Picture: BBC)
Isiah Jesus (Daryl McCormack)
Isiah has been a long-held and much loved member of the Peaky Blinders squad, but over the past few episodes it’s become clear he’s beginning to question his leaders.
First standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Finn in the Chinatown ambush back in episode one, he’s been used as Tommy’s marksmen, Aberama’s right hand man, and in the last episode, a hand in the shipment of seven tonnes of heroin.
But he’s also seemingly a little disillusioned with it all, and when he’s said anything this season it’s to question the motives of the men he serves.
Could he be pushing his luck? Or could be become collateral damage in the gangster war.
Is Tommy about to change history with Mosley’s death? (Picture: BBC)
Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin)
Oswald Mosley literally has a target on his back – with Tommy Shelby outright declaring that he was planning to assassinate him, in public, while standing right next to him.
However, the real Mosley didn’t die until 1980…so unless Steven Knight is planning to Taratino his story and create a new timeline, it does not look like that’s going to go to plan next week.
You never know, and Mosley is making a number of powerful enemies that would want to see him gone – not the least of which Tommy.
But then again, he’s also got some powerful friends – and some moles in some important places that could tip him off before it’s too late.
Peaky Blinders continues Sunday at 9pm on BBC One.

The drama has raised a few eyebrows so far with its depictions of male nudity – not to mention the odd furtive sex act in the woods – as the story of unconventional young woman Charlotte Heywood (Rose Williams) and her adventures in the titular seaside town continue.
With much of the drama being made up of original material – since Austen never actually completed the book – we’re well into the latter part of the story now, but how much more is there to go?
Here’s what you need to know…
When does Sanditon end?
There are four more episodes of Sanditon to go on Sunday nights on ITV.
The drama is eight parts long, with the first episode airing on the channel back on 25 August.
When is the next episode of Sanditon?
The next episode airs on ITV next Sunday night at 9pm.
It’s the fifth episode of the drama, with the remaining three instalments airing on the following three Sundays at the same time.
If you’ve missed any episodes so far, you can catch up with them via the ITV Hub.
The arrival of Miss Lambe’s forbidden love in episode four gave Charlotte some food for thought (Picture: ITV)
Episode four of the show which aired last night saw the arrival of Miss Lambe (Crystal Clarke)’s forbidden love interest, leaving Charlotte questioning her opinion of Sidney (Theo James).
Meanwhile Clara (Lily Sacofsky) witnessed a moment between Sir Edward (Jack Fox) and sister Esther (Charlotte Spencer) which left her raising suspicions about their relationship.
